  1. I can lay another sheet of plywood on top and stack about 20-30 E load range truck tires on top while it sets. That's no issue.
  2. This is difficult to explain but, I'm building a small enclosed trailer. Kinda like those little Uhaul trailers. I've got the frame built including the body skeleton. The body skeleton is made from 2x2x 1/8 thick steel angle. I want to use plywood to make the walls and door. I have a big roll of 24" wide aluminum like contractors use for siding. I'd like to laminate the two together, then bolt it to the inside of the angle to make the walls. I'll caulk the crap out of everything and then I will paint everything with bedliner when I'm done. Just curious what you guys think would be best for an adhesive. Regular contact cement? I'm limited to whatever Lowes has, I got a gift card ;)
  3.
  4. Golden Grain is cheaper than Everclear and still 190 proof.  I keep it for the ultimate SHTF liquid.  Second only to water.  I've even run a 5hp Honda engine on it.  It ran just fine.
  5. Those have to be the pinnacle of Buck quality.  Old traditional style, well made...what's not to like?     Does turkey juice affect the collector value at all?

    Weekend Trips

You can do the train ride in Nashville too.  They have rides as little as 5 miles to over 200+ miles.  They do trips to wineries and all manner of things.  I see Spet. 26 they are gonna have an old west robbery.  That would be entertaining, getting to watch the train get robbed by old west bandits.     http://tcry.org/pass_ops.htm
  7. I wasn't gonna tell it, but...... I stripped the rifle down and cleaned it thoroughly before I went to the range. As I stated, quite complex. Well, there's an inertia block on the action bars. It has two spring loaded plungers that hold it in place and it will fit two ways. Guess what Caster's dumb ass did? Yep, you guessed it. I put it on backwards. My first five rounds were a straight pull bolt action. It didn't even TRY to cycle. My heart fell into small intestine. I broke it down and whipped out my iPhone and got that video up. Turned it around and nary a burp, fart or hiccup. I took 150 rounds with me and 145 rounds of flawless function. Ejection made me pretty happy. It has an adjustable gas system so I anticipated adjusting....nope. Ejection was sufficient but nothing even close to forceful. It gently tossed them back about 24 inches @ 3:00-3:30. Perfect. I use a brass catcher that sits on the bench next to me and they weren't even bouncing off the inside. Whats more, not a dent, scratch or burr left on brass. For an autoloader that's great.
  8. Maybe, maybe not. Don't toss them for sure. Price them right and I'll take a whack at 'em. I've saved some pretty raunchy molds. ...unless the cavities are pitted. Then dolomite is right, they're pretty much ruined. If you decide to put a price on them, shoot me a pm. We can work out something.
  9. Those look like Hensley & Gibbs molds. If so, it's a shame they have gotten in that shape. They ain't been made in many years and are among the finest molds ever produced. If you can clean them up with something like evaporust they will bring a premium price. DO NOT use anything abrasive. Sand paper, brushes etc unless you know exactly what you're doing. Damaged edges and vent lines cannot be repaired
  10. Yeah, well...it'll do I guess. First five shots got me to zero. Then ten more. THis was at (50) yards. Then I did some 5 shot groups at 100 yards. I was gonna do 10 shot groups but DAMN this rifle gets HOT!!!! IT'll do an inch at 100 with 150g Sierra spire point boat tail soft points & BL-C2. I know it will do better with load development.
  11. No but we've had a few. Good riddance.
  12. .....in a cell with a 6'4" 300lb black dude named Tyrone who likes to tattoo boobs on other peoples back.
  13. Ain't you got an FNAR too?  Seems like I remember you saying something....
  14. A great story line would be Jon Snow: white walker.  Meets up with his baby brothers in the north.  Either they turn their brothers heart OR his little brother jumps into his mind and takes over.
  15. That would make for a good story line. Make sense why he cut his hair. Make room for a thin white wig.
  16. You can find God at the gun range just as easy as any church house.  Charlie Haffner ALWAYS starts the day with a morning invocation.  He's also more than happy to talk about God or pray with you any time.  He will pray for healing or pray your groups tighten up.  Or both!   I go to the range EARLY sunday, get there before they open, maybe pick up trash or just sit and listen to the birds.  More God there than any church I ever been in.
  17. Chupacabra baby tooth.
  18.     Don't you remember Cowboy Curtis from PeeWee's Playhouse???
  19. Fluffy cows make good chaps. Look at cowboy Curtis.
  20. He did the transfer. I bought it from a place in Alabama through gunbroker.
  21. I know one thing, this is one complicated sum beech. I spent the last two hours cleaning it. Looked like FN emptied a grease gun off in there. Without a particular YouTube video, this ole boy would NEVER have gotten it done. With the video it wasn't hard, just tedious. Start smart, end smart. Got some clean towels and laid everything out neat and organized. Followed the fellar in the video. Here's the video. It'll give you an idea. The guy is European and couldn't say sooie if the hogs was eatin' him up but he's clear in what he does and really does a nice job in the video. I will buy him beer if I ever meet him. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=22XHIXcrC24
  22. It's actually a lot lighter than it looks. Certainly no lightweight but the weight is where it should be.
  23. Just arrived. I was going to buy a SCAR but I just can't part with THAT much cash. Can't do it. Still spent more than I wanted, but this is pretty sweet. Fits me like a glove after some stock adjustments. Came with (6) stick shims, (3) butt pads and the cheek piece is adjustable for comb as well as cast on/off. Mounted a Nikon P308 scope. Probably deserves a little better glass but......... Gotta level the scope and bore sight it tomorrow as well as tear it down and clean out the factory goop. Not looking forward to that. This rifle is fairly complicated after fooling with AR's for so long. Thank God for youtube. Anyway, here she is. Yep...it sure is blue.
  24. I don't like the term hate crime either but that's what this is.  I'm ALL FOR frying this kid.  He should be tried by a jury of his peers.  If found guilty, I hope the little bastard rides the lightning.  He sure earned it.       BUT of course, it was the gun's fault.  I mean, if he hadn't had a gun, these people would still be alive because no one ever murdered people in numbers before guns.  No one ever locked doors to buildings and set them on fire.  No one ever used a knife, sword or bludgeoning weapon throughout history.  IT's just not possible to kill lots of people without using a gun.  I mean before guns it was so peaceful...not like anyone ever did anything crazy like slay a thousand philistines with the jaw bone of an ass, waged a Crusade or Inquisition.
