  1. The Devils greatest achievement is convincing the world he doesn't exist. I wouldn't trade the lives of those four Marines for every muslim alive on earth.
  2. Yeah, convert them into compost.
  3. IF ONLY, this would wake people up. If only this would open people's eyes to who our enemy is then maybe, just maybe these Marines would have lost their lives for SOMETHING. As it is, no one will see squat. These men died for nothing. What shameful waste. Meanwhile, the news anchor just said "no word on whether the weapons were obtained legally yet" Who gives a !!!!!!!!
  4. We've been saying it for how long?  These rag heads are here, they've been getting set up and ready to go, all under the politically correct protection act of Hippy Skippy Amerika.     This is going to a much more common place thing in the days to come.
  5. Sure you can. Worked for Kwik and who wouldn't wanna be like that guy?
  6. Not really. Barrels vary too much. ESPECIALLY military rifles. Each one needs to be assessed individually. ....not for cast bullets any way.
  7. So, who's talked to the owner about advertising here? Being such a nice place and in such close proximity to many of us, they really need to be a part of our community.
  8. On one hand, I do NOT like it when people try to talk each other out of something they want BUT....I'm with MacGuyver all the way.  The .223 will do anything the Hornet will do and more...cheaper and easier.  Rimfires may have an advantage in that capacity and storage of ammo is better but there is NO advantage to the Hornet over the 223.
  9. As far as coyotes? No personal experience. But it's no great secret, the .22 Hornet will bust Willey Coyote's ass.
  10. Personally, yes I do think it's worth the extra money but as I say, it's only my opinion. If you ever find yourself at Haffner Memorial Range early Sunday morning, I'll let you shoot mine (it's a 223) and I'll show you why I feel, that way along with some clover leaf groups at 100 yards. The trigger as is, is decent but just a tad spongy. Not bad at all though. Push the trigger forward to use the single set option and ...well....if you so much as fart, it'll break. When I shoot bench groups using the set trigger, I i don't pull the trigger or even touch it until I'm ready to fire, when I make my shot, I just have to touch the tip of my finger lad to the trigger to make the shot. Don't get me wrong, Savage build a fine rifle and you will not have buyers remorse if you get one. They are also MUCH more aftermarket, tuner friendly than the CZ. But, you did ask my opinion and mine is, If I had the money for either, the CZ wins hands down for me.
  11. If a man ain't proud of where he lives, why don't he move to where he would be?     Segregation works, I just don't believe it should be forced.  If everyone lived with their own 'KIND' everyone could get along a lot better.  It would require a LOT of neutral zones in this day and age but it's doable and would work great.  Don't like what we're doing?  GTFO.     BTW, 'kind' is NOT racial but political and personal.
  12. You just have to kill a couple of cases and find out.  Not hard to do.  I used a piece of angle iron with a nut welded inside.  Thread a bolt in with a jam nut and you got an adjustable stop.  I used a die grinder with a cutoff wheel and could zip through them fast just letting the wheel gently touch the edge of the angle..  Keyword: Gentle.  I would readjust it every 3 or 4 hundred if necessary.
  13. Recoil is in the gun itself as much as the load a lot of times. Might be time for some fresh toys and be done with some old ones?? I have a .45 colt Blackhawk that's pretty heavy, only the supercharger nitromethane loads have any real recoil. I can load some 255g cast bullets of anemic charges of Nitro 100 or Titegroup and recoil is LESS than many compact .380's I've shot. ...but then again, weight becomes the enemy of that injured joint so you're kind of at a standoff.
  14. That's a good method Dolomite. God know you don't wanna trim a thousand of the effin things by hand, only a fool would try that.....ohh wait.
  15. SO how's the couch?  Is it comfortable?
  16. I'm happy for you but advertising it ain't doing you no favors.  Broadcast an edible carcass and ALL the buzzards will show up.  The range may even see the value in it and put a stop to it all together.  Charlie Haffner got smart and if you didn't shoot it, you can't pick it up.  He sells it and makes a good little chunk of change from it.  I don't blame him at all.  I would do the same.   In a few words, ALWAYS keep a good thing under your hat.  Just my opinion which ain't worth much.
  17. El Conquistador,  That's pretty good.  About as good as Il Duce naming his the Titanic so when he plugs it up it says "The Titanic is Syncing"
  18. Thanks CZ, I appreciate you posting that. ...but why so many clicks? The last iteration of iTunes and my old style iPod you just press play for an artist and off it goes. When one album is done, on to the next. .....and how stupid is this? Paragraphs worth posts by me, for what? Music. Whoopedy doo. Wish I had been born 1877 instead of 1977. They had guns and beer then too. Yall probably wish I'd been born then too huh? :)
  19. Maybe you're right, but all this stuff used to work. Ohh sure, it used to take ten minutes to download an email too but I've had Internet service in one form or another since 1993-94 and I don't ever recall operating systems struggling to function like they do now. I think they try to make it do too much and for what? There's a million functions on the new iMac i bought, most of which is cråp for people who are easily amused. I'm not a points and carburetor kinda guy, I love fuel injection, it works so much better, I just don't understand why you cannot get basic things anymore. Every phone has to have 10 million gimmicks for children. I just want a damn phone. I guess there's no market for solid dependable things that just do their job and aren't cluttered by inane silliness.
  20. A CZ527 will give it a run for its money. CZ has a single set trigger that is excellent. Price is very reasonable too for the quality you receive.
  21. I have the 358315 too. Never cared for it, too much unsupported nose. It's not really a bore rider so the nose can and will wander under the stress of heavier loads. ....but then again, I don't much care for bore riders either. Hit me up this winter and I might cast you a few 35-200's when start casting again. Until daytime temps top out around 50 degrees, I ain't casting nothing! Lol!
  22. 200g lead pill? Well that won't cut it. What mold? If you ain't using an RCBS 35-200 your cheating yourself. It may be the finest 35 caliber bullet ever designed for the 35 remington. I kept mine just in case I ever get back into 35 remington. I ended getting into 358 Winchester so I still use it on occasion but prefer a 230g Thor. The 230g probably wouldn't feed in the Marlin though. Too long I'm betting. A 35 Remington with a 200g cast bullet is a bang flop cartridge. Put it in the engine room and deer just die, right there.
  23. Why don't you add some nascar slander and make fun of cheap beer while you're at it and make yourself a little southern troll trifecta.
  24. Oops posted too soon, he already makes a 46g pellet rifle bullet. The great thing about Tom is, if you see something you like but wanna modify it, he's all over it. You could order the 46g pellet rifle mold and have him make it .311 and the relief groove would work perfect for a lube groove. Here's a print http://www.accuratemolds.com/bullet_detail.php?bullet=30-046A-D.png Not sure about the legalities of squirrel hunting with a centerfire but it would be great and work very well! You could run about 3.0-4.0g of Bullseye with that for super cheap, but tree rat deadly shooting.
  25. A .30 Mauser sizer will work also, they are dimensionally the same. I'm betting it would work too, my only thought is if the nose drops just a tad, it could get hung on the face of the barrel. Highly unlikely but something to be mindful of when doing such a conversion. Night runner, Tom over at accurate molds could make a .310 mold about as little as you want. I'm betting 75-80 could be made with no trouble. They're pricey but you get what you pay for and he makes AWESOME molds. Best in the business. He has certain restraints. All designs must have a minumum meplat of .180 but that's no big deal.
