  1. I never claimed to be a smart fella. Yessir a paddle holster. Leather would be great. Brand names or custom makers? Thanks.
  2. Does anyone know of an outside waistband holster, that does NOT require a belt to carry a Taurus TCP? No nylon uncle mikes garbage, a good holster. My wife carries a TCP and many times her outfits either don't have pockets or are less than ideal for sticking a pistol in. She also doesn't wear a belt. SO, I was thinking of a holster that would carry the gun outside the waistband and be held in place like a Serpa holster where a contoured part slides in the waist band. She's not going to carry the gun inside the waist band. I know that's picky but she's a lady, that should be all the explanation needed. If there's no commercial outfit, what about a custom Kydex job? Who does that? Thank you guys, –––Cas†er–––
  3. Nope, but I'd like to go fishing with that guy. We're leaving Jonah at the marina though.
  4. No one else? They missed a heckuva good show wouldn't you say Street? Ozzy's got a new lead guitarist. He was VERY good. Nearly flawless performance. Accuracy and clarity was great. I was seriously impressed by him. I think he outperformed Slash myself.
  5. No luck for them. They've heard my sermons and choose not to listen. Should a great calamity arise, the doors of this ark are sealed. Natural selection can take it's course.
  6. Lucky you. I can't even get lying couch commando here. Hippies yuppies & geriatric apathetic sheeple. *sigh* I'm surrounded by losers and morons.
  7. I have some you can have. I'm in the Williamson county area too. Send me a pm if you want them.
  8. Great show. First time seeing him. It was well worth it. One more more check off my bucket list.
  9. Well what good is friendly flaming without opposition? All in good fun? Of course! Just remember mine is as well. If I tripped over any of you old geezers walkers, I apologize.
  10. I can't figure out why liking this story l makes you less of a man. I loved the books (which are always better than the movies). My wife REALLY loves the story. We watched all the movies in the theatre and many more times on bluray. Then again, I suppose being married to a gal who happens to be the best friend I have ever had, and have known since the second grade kinda makes me secure in my masculinity like that. Furthermore, when my age causes me lose my imagination and love for fiction I will greet death like an old friend. I would certainly take that as a merciful fate over aging into an unimaginative dried up old prune.
  11. :shake:Ohhhh my God.
  12. You'll never regret the Henry. I have never been much of a 'western style' gun lover, but I was given one a few years back and my 10/22 gets out of the safe once a year now to check for rust. Someone could steal my Ruger and I'd get over it. Touch the Henry and I'd be ready for war. Enjoy, you dun good.
  13. I've been to my last gunshow. *gasp* I know, but I always end up going, getting P.O. for the gouging prices or lack of what I want and either going to the gunstore I trade with or ordering it online. The dealer I trade with is very good to me and I have just washed my hands of the swap meet madness. I mean, you think about it; Unless you just love to go and be out and about the crowd, the money I pay for admittance for me and the wife will pay shipping on just about anything parts and accessory wise. If I want a gun, I'd heap rather pay the dealer an extra few bucks and not have to deal with the lack of deodourant and price bickering turkish bazaar.

    Truck Gun

    Well, shows what I know.:-\
  15. Tonight it was the country fried chicken breast {HUGE!!!} fries, baked apples, side salad w/ honey mustard and three baskets of biscuits from the Franklin Chop House. One of the best places around. Never over crowded, never loud, ALWAYS good. I was planning on eating the leftovers tomorrow, but that to go box keeps eyeballing me..............

    Truck Gun

Well, how does a Handgun Carry Permit legally justify a loaded long gun?

    Truck Gun

I wouldn't even think of trying that. I think I will move the bandolier to under the front seat and the rifle to the back though. Get a little separation.

    Truck Gun

Does the law actually say "No Clip"? Magazine I know, but clip??? I keep a Mauser and a bandolier full of loaded stripper clips in "the truck". If you learn to use stripper clips properly, it's fast as a light switch.
  20. Well, ain't nuthin' wrong with pretending to be respectable is it?
  21. The who's that be sure put a little effort into this forum. More so than many of the gun forumz out there. Looks nice here.
  22. Thank you.
  23. I don't think it will be. It'll be something economic that cripples this country IMHO.
  24. I started carrying because I turned 21 and I could. Over a decade later, I carry now because it's just what I do. Nothing overly complicated, I just like being next to my inanimate friend.
  25. Just invest in something with a point distributor. Ideal would be a something with a 350 [parts availability] and a stick shift, then choke down the cost for a magneto distributor. Problem solved, just make a habit of parking next to an incline every time before you cut it off just in case/when the battery cops out.
