    Cleaning my AR

Never bothered mine, but I don't abide safe queens either. If a little solvent runs across my plastic parts...meehhh, wipe it off. To actually clean plastic, I have only ever used Remoil and scrub a dub dub with a rag.
  2. Understood. ...boy, this country needs an enema.
  3. Kimber's Pepper Spray.
  4. Ask of me and I give freely. That's charity, the thing of which you speak. Take from me, without asking, by hook by crook or by force & that's theft. Theives make me violently angry.
  5. And that's the misery of the system. Because of someone else's incompetence, I am made to suffer and I am made financier to "grandma's" maintenance. Rubbish! I'm not saying kill off the elderly, I'm not saying if given the choice I'd completely cut them off [though admittedly I'd want some time to consider it] It needs to be traced up the chain to a given point and cut off. Indiscriminately. Permanently. ALL forms of social programs. The only ones that would ultimately suffer will be the very ones most of the members here would rally against at any given assembly. BUT, this country has a spine like a gummy worm and nothing will ever progress to a positive again. Not here.
  6. You'd be better off dropping your prices or putting away for your company than just passing it out to employees. Sure everyone loves a raise but job security beats a raise any time in this economy.
  7. Me too, and I'm half your age. Give me a call and we'll talk about it. My number is BR549!
  8. Well I'm not doing it, I just want to see it done. Taking your figure then it costs an employer what? 16.12/hour for a $15/hour employee. Then if he provides medical, dental, vision, 401k and all that other crap it goes up exponentially.
  9. Daniel Defense, copy that. Thanks. I won't be blowing that kind of $$$ on a lower, but the poly lower with a pencil barrel and trimmest of the trim for parts sounds cool. I did some reading at Barfcom about super ultra light weight builds. I have some ideas now.
  10. Well a 1040 EZ with (1) W-2 form is easy enough to figure and dang hard to get wrong. It's less than grade school math. I go to the library every year and get two sets of 1040ez paper and books. I fill out one as does my wife. Then we compare each others. If they're the same, we send her copy in (better handwriting:D) We came to the same figure of X. Our refund was (X)2 + about $20. It was actually a little over double. I'm not wealthy BY ANY MEANS!!! But my bills are paid and I don't owe anything. I won't be spending the money until I have ink on paper saying it's mine. I don't want to have to cough $$$ later that I may or may not have.
  11. Your employer also takes that into consideration when deciding your next raise. He pays you more, he pays them more. If you make $15 an hour, it's costs your employer a heck of a lot more than $15 an hour to have you there.
  12. I don't have a problem with income tax. I'll pay the IRS their fare share. It's Social Security I'd like to see boycotted. I don't see the IRS lifting a finger against anyone who pays their income taxes but stiffs SS. BUT, I'm a poorly educated bumpkin, what do I KNOW.
  13. Looks nice, I just couldn't stand to carry a pistol in that position. I can't carry anywhere but on my right side, plain simple and old school. AWESOME looking work though.
  14. Betty White said it best on her SNL monolog. [paraphrasing] Facebook, what a waste of time.
  15. That's true, but I doubt I'll ever send them a check. I have been working since I was 15 and I have always claimed zero and filed on a 1040. I COULD keep more money through out the year, but I am used to this way and I could decide to never fill out my taxes again and they'd probably never do anything about it. They always owe me money back. It's always kept me out of trouble and I don't pay it any attention after nearly 20 years.
  16. I'd like to see a massive exodus of below retirement age workers leave standard employment and move to contract labor on a 1099. Then refuse to pay. Then let's see what happens. It wouldn't take more than a 1/4 of the working class to cripple the whole thing.
  17. Me and the wife (no kids) do a 1040EZ every year. Well our return was direct deposited this morning. It's nearly double of what it is supposed to be. Now, the IRS says if it's right, we can expect a letter confirming it in a couple of weeks. If not, we're to call this number and talk to someone. In the meantime, we're not to spend it or withdraw it or whatever. What the [filth] kind stupid [insert more vulgarity] is this? No wonder this country is headed for financial ruin at mach 10. Ohh, let's just pass out money like condoms at the free clinic. Maybe I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth you say? No, no. You know as well as I do. The dope dealer is always happy to give somebody a hit for free.....if it'll get you hooked. Anyway [/rant] Has this ever happened to any of you? Please discuss.
  18. So am I Mike, so is every middle class, middle aged hard working american. AND we'll continue to pay, even after the next generations share is long spent.
  19. It's like comparing Apples to Lemons....errr uhhh I mean oranges.
  20. Silly PC's, will y'all never learn?
  21. Hmmm strange. Maybe you guys should buy a Mac?
  22. Works for me. Loaded right up. Weird. Springfield Armory
  23. The wife was JUST talking about that the other day! Ridiculous. Advice, if you think you'll need them, go hit the Dollar Tree or Dollar General and load up. You should be able to get a near lifetime supply for less than a C note.
