That's the thing though, you don't ever want the person doing it to be cheap. It's like heart surgery. You don't want the lowest bidder. You want the most expensive, nit-picky guy with a god complex because he'll be the one to do it right [perfect]. Out of curiosity Elbow1, what kind of inlay are you doing?
  2. Is this really a problem for people? If so than that's just pathetic. Leave your gun at home OR drink at home. If a person feels the need to be armed all the time (like me) then why in the world that person would want to take a chance impairing reaction time, ability to make on the fly judgment calls, ect all for a drink is beyond me. Seems like a person tormented by such a dilemma as said situation has a much bigger problem. ¿Addiction maybe ? As the weather gets warmer I tend to drink beer daily, but if it ever comes to a point in which I plot and fathom ways to circumvent carry laws just to have another one, I'll quit drinking for good.
  3. Not really, i was right onboard with you for forced manual labor. It just brought to mind the song from the old cartoon movie.
  4. Mehh, they should be allowed to sing. I thought of the old Lord of the Rings cartoon.
  5. Sorry.:-\ My intent was for the Greater Williamson County Area though. That's not to alienate anyone, it was just the original mission statement.
  6. Until I have been everywhere and done everything, I can't argue with any of that. There's a lot of known knowns, and known unknowns.......dahhh crap!
  7. Right. Believe what you want. I can't prove God exists, but the world can't prove he doesn't. Same principle. Until we gain omnipresence, we my never know for sure. In the mean time, who gives a rat's års?
  8. I like it. It's simple, and to the point. The text can easily be removed for logo only use like a patch, or left on and make a cool T shirt. I made it my desktop wallpaper to see how I like looking at it. I wonder if (TGO) David would have a care if we replaced one of the biohazards with a TGO tri-bullet hole? Just out of curiosity, I wonder what one biohazard, one TGO bullet hole, and one Tennessee Star would look like? Kind of the TN/TGO/Zombie trinity?
  9. Couldn't have said that any better. I totally agree.
  10. If you need a carbine, I would suggest the AR instead. Unless of course you just want an AK, and then by all means cause you won't be happy till you do.
  11. The two happiest days of a boat owners life: The day you buy it and the day you sell it. Unless your a bass fisherman, I've found that to be the truth.
  12. If it's gold colored, I pick it up. Wether I load it or not, I take every piece of brass I can get my hands on.
  13. I know.:-\ I guess I'm just thinking there's an idea I overlooked. I have so much going on, I really don't feel like fooling with it. I have a couple bags of cement laying around. I thought about just mixing them in with some quick-crete and then chunking it in the lake at my buddies place, but that doesn't benefit me any.
  14. THIS! The best ammo I've ever fired comes from right here in TN. Namely my little junked up workshop, hot off MY press.
  15. That looks like a nightstand companion to me. Nothing says smack like a burglar getting ventilated from a pistol with class. I like it. It's flashy, not trashy.
  16. Here lately I have been conducting a serious caliber/weapon purge. Consolidating both to common calibers. I'm almost finished. .223 & .308 rifles and 9x19 & .45 acp for handguns. All serious tools not toys. I've kept one toy in 45 Long Colt, I won't be getting rid if it. AND, I load 12g as well. My one caliber left I have to cull is 8mm Mauser. My problem is what to do with the ammo I have. I can't sell it, and just flat out don't want to shoot it. They are reloads and even if it wasn't taboo to sell them, I wouldn't. I have contemplated pulling the bullets, but I have about 450-475 rounds I have loaded. All formed from 30/06 brass. Some LC & FA match, as well as others. I've got a lot invested in them too, 75% of it is soft point some of which is Hornady stuff. Just fishing for [real] suggestions on what to do with it. Not "you should just give them to me" or other BS. I'm serious about not selling it. One, I'm not a benefactor, two, they are my reloads and I'm just not gonna do it. Any ideas?
  17. I'm sorry I ruined your black panther party
  18. Nope. I'm only here for culturally rich, intellectually stimulating conversation. Welcome!
  19. Really? That's AWESOME. New management has went the extra step to make up for previous owners blundering idiocy.
  20. Where the hell do you shop? Cheapest I know is Belleshire and he is like $20 + 10 for background.
  21. Are you sure it was a Water Moccasin or was it that old guy at Cherokee selling Moccasins? He was kinda dark and scaly last I saw him. Could have been an honest mistake.
  22. Good deal. No one stays married anymore. Me and the wife are on 9 years this year. According to her, we stay together because no one else would want me, and no one else would put up with her. Maybe. It's been a rollercoaster of a ride, but I happen to like theme parks.
  23. That's your good fortune! Be thankful. Promag has about the same reputation for fooling folks into thinking they are buying a quality product as Century Arms. I noticed you posted a video. I for one appreciate that. I've alway wanted to see a promag work flawlessly, and now I have.
  24. I had always heard that was going rate down on dickerson road.
