  1. I've seen people ask this question on other boards over the years. It's usually a death sentence or the crowd will cry troll. Either way, it generally ends up with some some hot tempered knowitall going ballistic on the keyboard. Lot's of luck to you pal, but with name like 'monkeyhumper' and democratic views please try to understand the ramifications of the path you have before you.
  2. I can feed my rifles for a long time for what that 6 string cost.
  3. Sungha plays a Lakewood. Never heard of it, but the one he plays currently is like 5,800 Euro??? That's something like 8 grand. Well, he deserves it.
  4. I love Ruger, and if they make money, great, but it seems like a "We wanna slice of pie too" like their AR. THey may be some of the best, but Jeez, how many makers of 1911's [and AR's] does a country need. It makes for a daunting task when a person not in the know wants to get into the game.
  5. Yup, thanks Dave. I've watched everyone I could find on the interwebz. I'm just amazed. In the past few years I have grown to love nothing but instrumental guitar music. Satch started all of it for me. Now the list is growing. I was born a metal head, but I really don't listen to much of it anymore. I really don't care what "style" it is, if there's is serious God given talent, I'm listening to it. I'll listen to the radio some in the car, but for listening because I really want to listen, I don't care if I NEVER hear anyone else sing. I love stuff like this and I wonder why I haven't been listening to it all these years.
  6. I just ordered his autographed CD from his website.
  7. First off, being a tone deaf guitar music lover, I'd just like to tell all you players that I hate you all. I'd give ANYTHING to play like this. Seriously though. I was digging around for something new to listen to. Maybe I'm the last guy to hear about this kid [ohh yes, kid!!!] from S.Korea, but for any who haven't heard of Sungha Jung....YOU HAVE GOT TO TAKE THE TIME TO HEAR THIS!!!!!!! I don't know what to say. I'm blown away. He was born 1996!!!!! Sungha Jung's Official site

    Sig .357 ??

All the po-po's here in town carry Glocks in .357 sig. For whatever that's worth. My biggest issue on the 357 sig is, Who wants to pay that kind of dough for ammunition that [in real world performance] is only marginally better. On paper or in a lab it may soar above the humble 9x19, but shoot that sig in low light, inside closed doors. Yikes:stare: I've never fired the 357 sig, but I have fired my SP101 in a confined space, with low light. That was exactly 10 minutes before I decided to go back to carrying my lowly little .45acp. The Sig is a bad boy, don't mistake me for being prejudice against it. I'd just think there's a few things to consider before making it a duty/carry/defense weapon. That dog bites hard and barks loud!
  12. Just got back from the range. Hornady match brass, fed match primer, 42g AA 2520 (that's .1 over the starting load) 168g AMax I'm happy. Accuracy is PLENTY good, no sense in trying to run it harder.

    the locked gun

No kids. Never will unless there's some divine intervention. That doesn't allow us to be lackadaisical in the safety department, but it does grant us a bit of leeway.
  14. Would somebody please help a fella out?
  15. Personally I would go with the Barrett. If you go M1A, I'd do a minimum of 18" barrel. You lose a lot on the 308 dropping back to 16. Be mindful of Springield Armory's M1A. I have nothing but heresay from folks I trust on this, BUT they have issues from time to time. Either get an older S/A or wait till you have more $$$ and get an LRB The Gun Zone -- 7.62 X 51mm / M1A Catastrophic Failure The Gun Zone -- M1A / 7.62 X 51mm kB! Analysis Good read ^
  16. Taxe are higher because no one produces anything, waaaaaay to many people work gov jobs or administrative jobs. No one is actually producing products that generate revenue in this country anymore. Something has to fund this vacuous country.

  18. THey are beautiful but I had one of the dang things to take a dive at my koi pond. I wonder if they know how lucky they are that I'm in city limits.
  19. Oh I ain't sweatin' it. For one, the paranoid delusionals out there are kidding themselves. You can only hear the apache AFTER he's been in range for a while, so running or defending is about as dumb as the people who are paranoid about it. TWO, I find it comforting in a strange way. If charlie chan or habeeb or whatever foreign rubbish wants to start a fight over here, it'll be amusing to see them bang heads with ohhh say 10 apaches. LOL:D
  20. You're actually quite right [most likely] but it odd [to me] the volume being more than I have seen in nigh 10 years.
  21. This is not the land of our fore fathers anymore.
  22. Wait, what were we talking about?
  23. I don't know what a PF9 barrel even looks like but stay away from any square edges on the outside chamber end. Those act as locking lugs and any wear there can change headspace.
