  1. Well, tread these waters carefully and at your own risk! John Linebaugh lists load data for Ruger blackhawks that has a 260 cast SWC hitting 1450 fps. That will pile drive a deer if you hit his vitals.
  2. Anyone ever use the KNS crosshair front sight for AR's? I read pretty good reviews but I also read a few where the vertical strand "comes up missing" Ruh Roh! I want one, and will likely order on on my next Midway order, but I just wanted to hear +/- from you guys.
  3. Looks like an episode of "Hoarders". That's nasty.
  4. I don't see why we can't let the good people of NYC parade his body around town like they do over in raghead land. I mean, what else is the US gonna do with it? Do you know what kind of turn out you could get if the press release said "We're gonna tie his corpse to back of a chevrolet pick up truck and drive around New York until there's nothing but a stump of rope hanging off the bumper." Seriously though, good riddance AND GOD JOB soldiers. Hey OBL! Say hello to the King of Kings and his Father the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob you bastard son of Ishmael!
  5. This video is like buying a car, I'm excited until you get to the paper work, then you lose me.
  6. Yeah, i think you are right. Danggit! Now I'm jonesin' for some fish.
  7. Well Greg, it's official. You suck and I h8 you. No, seriously, that's a heck of a nice collection. The first one is gorgeous. ..and a .410, now that was worth getting up this morning to see. I likes it!
  8. I'd take that bet for two dollars, raise you a dollar and a quarter and lose, but still be happy to watch him make you go "WOW" Yeah okay, you have a point there.
  9. No, but went there several times in the Boy Scouts. Still remember it well. ABSOLUTELY beautiful. Only restaurant I ever heard of that can serve pan fish on the menu is there, and it were good.
  10. What I don't understand from this season or the first; Where are the REAL top shots the earth has to offer??? British Corporal Craig Harrison? Canadian Army Corporal Rob Furlong? American champion competition guys like Rob Leatham, Jerry Miculek [my favorite] or Doug Koneig? No, for the record I could never shoot as good as some of the Top Shot competitors, but if they really want to convey the title of "TOP SHOT" Then by God get some REAL shooters in there! I thought the hoopla over the .50 @ 1,000 yards was hyper inflated. YOU KNOW DANG WELL that rifle was zeroed in at a thousand yards for that target on that range. Well, that really removes a LOT of friggin variables don't it?
  11. My great grandfather passed on an 1899 in 30/30. A falling out in the family caused me to miss out on it. I;ve shot it though, and loved it. I'd REALLY like to have one in .308 Win. Not many folks ever seen a .308 levergun. I know the die hard 30/30 handloaders love the design too, you get to use them pointy bullets with the box magazine. If you ever get bored with the camera, I'd like to see a better pic sometime. I think they are one of the coolest older style guns and they get almost no mention among normal crowds.
  12. No one ever pay him any attention cuz they're too busy chasing his pet panther around the woods.
  13. ^This. It only takes one to make matters at hand go from bad to worse.
  14. Is that a 1899 or a model 99 in your avatar? I love those things!
  15. I had similar issues for two or three years in a row. I found a good deal on a pressure washer that the pump was busted on, pulled the Honda engine and threw the B&S into the scrap metal bin. 4th season on the used Honda. Starts 2nd or 3rd pull, EVERY time. I think I gave $50 for the junk pressure washer. Best $50 I ever spent. Hate to say it, but Briggs and Tecumseh have become the laughing stock of the small engine world in the last 8 or 10 years. Can't beat japanese designs. .......that really doesn't help you though. Sorry.
  16. Ohhh, Okay. Because this account I am using doesn't say 2008 like yours, I'm not allowed to make any prideful comments about TGO. Kinda like white man claiming to be "real" americans because they been here longer than other people I think.
  17. Ohhhh wow, that brings back memories of a sweaty arcade and sneaking cigarettes! Kids today have no idea what an arcade even is. Thanks for the reminder Bender!
  18. I have wanted to know ever since I first read the entire series, just this!!! The first spell I would have learned would have been Accio-Glock. I would have had the ever brilliant Hermione research and develop an enchantment for an ever loading magazine, and the dragon egg would have been mine without much of a struggle during the tri-wizard tournament when I conjured a Holland&Holland double rifle and put two 900g Monolithic solid rounds from a .600 nitro express [enchanted with a zero recoil charm] in it's chest. AND, for the face off between death eaters? I'd have a "Mimic Jerry Miculek" charm pre cast, and I'd square off with a S&W custom shop 45ACP revolver. It would seem that HP was written in a british setting because of the author, but maybe she understood that setting the same scene in say...Tn[patron state of shottin' stuff] The story would be reduced from a series of large novels to basically a pamphlet, or maybe a decent comic book.
  19. Man I'm sorry. Between Sam and Sadie, my day is shot to crap now. I was planning on eating out tonight but I think I'm staying home and grilling out. Going to put my friend a half a pack of hotdogs and some deer meat on the grill to remind him how much I love him. There's nothing like a good dog. Absolutely nothing.
  20. I'm so sorry. I DON'T know how you feel but I have been through it myself. There isn't any fancy words that'll make you feel better. I grieve with you though. Dog's are funny things, they get ahold of your heart in nothing flat, but their time here is short. My wife loves me and I love her, but NOTHING [short of God] loves you like your dog. Nothing.
  21. If he lives in Franklin, why the heck ain't he a member here? Gun lover, pppfffttt. If he was, he'd be a member here at the most prestigious forum for TN gentlemen.
  22. Hey, what's happening Brentwood and Springhill?!! I don't know what happened this thing was on fire, and died. I guess I dropped the ball like an epileptic juggler. Let's get back on track though. Maybe we can do a sunday morning @ Haffner's range.
  23. Wait, what? You talking yards? Oh wow!
  24. I hate it for the daughter. I hate it that she got shot, I hate it even more that she has a frickin' moron for a father.
