This show aggregated me every episode until about 30 minutes into last nights episode, then I understood. This is a dramatic documentary on how the ignorant, weak & cowardly people of the Uninted States will react to a real calamity. I will continue to watch it from this point of view and probably enjoy it, not being bothered by the fact that there were distinctive 'shucking' sounds of a pump shotgun coming from an over and under and not letting it get under my skin that a grown man couldn't start a fire with one match and knife unless he had a gallon of gasoline. I think for many of us, it's good to have shows showing the weakness and stupidity that permeates our culture. It only reinforces my belief that 'bugging in' is the only viable option. One month minimum, preferably several months. Let the masses that these characters represent, remove themselves from the equation before becoming actively involved in the world again.

One shot at a time. Pretty ingenious mechanism if you look at an exploded view.

Shot it today. All I can say....it's brutal. Factory 230g loads are F'ing brutal. Four rounds and I put it away. Some judicious handloading do I see in this things future.

First impressions, it's quite safe. The trigger pull is about three yards long. It's not bad when you consider what we're dealing with. It's very light actually, and then it stacks heavy at the end. It's the first derringer type I've seen with a spring loaded barrel. When you pull the button back, it gently pops up on its own.

Is it just me or does the logo on the box make you wanna watch Big Bang reruns???

So me and the woman went to the Royal Range to goof off for a minute. She came home with another little carry gun. This one she can get in her pocket COMFORTABLY. Her Solo fits too but won't sit still and is a bit thick & heavy. This is thinner and lighter, at the cost of capacity, but it is what it is. It's actually VERY well made. $235+tax+$10 Not bad at all. I bet she barks AND bites with full power stuff. Thankfully Loading it down is a no brainer. Maybe a 250g cast bullet loaded light? Without the burden of feeding, my options are wide open.

Start naming good Muslims. I mean living ones by the way. Short list. Fug 'em all. No other collection of people on earth could go extinct and benefit mankind any more than them. Not even close.

Wonder how much aid O will send? At least a few hundred million of our dollars should help his peeps.

Happy crane day!

My adventurous days have long passed me by, so I have ask myself; Caster, wtf are you doing out here in the woods? Seriously though, I'd hate to know I had to use it....but I must admit to staking claim on a currently half full two liter bottle in the fridge. I'm gonna try it. Lol!

Call me crazy, but I'd rather some burly mofo like Spots lay a 5lb straight peen hammer across my head than get sliced up by knives.
-
Apocalypse or no, thank god I won't be around in 30 years. Trading bullets is bad enough but banging heads with a guy who knows how to use a knife?!? F that. I'll take getting shot anyday over Bill the Butcher.
-
Very interesting. Certainly crafty. But, were I to find myself in a situation where I got knives and two liter bottles, but no string; and life depended on that length of string.....I'd probably just greet death like an old friend and walk happily with him to whatever's next.

Brian's got it. Their website lists a good pile of data.

Kimber Solo. Pricey but worth it.

Me and you both. I'm still pissed at that one and not likely to get over it.

If your SHOPPING I would go to Franklin Gun Shop. They have (hands down) more guns to look at than anyone else. Look at it, feel it. Make sure it's what you really want. ...then find someone who won't butt rape you. Someone like Guns & Leather, Everything Weapons or one of our other fine sponsors here and have them order it for you. This takes the guess work out of it and buyers remorse. It also saves you some money, headaches and supports those who support us.

Everything I have is Apple. My tablet I'm currently typing on. My desktop. My phone. My iPod. That being said, I often fanticize seeing Apple catch fire and roll off a bluff.

I said that too, That was several years ago. I don't load much bulk ammo anymore. Now, I'm happy with slow and steady.

I know what you're saying. If I could get a kickback for every DUI I could put the cops on, I'd have a good chunk of change. So many drunkards and pill heads pass through here, it ain't even funny.

As far as I know. It would not meter through my Lyman 55 without cutting kernels. Surprisingly this is the one thing the cheapazz Lee plastic measure is good for. It meters extruded powder without shearing and does it quite well. Mine ran +/- .2 grains. I weigh every charge on important stuff so I set the charge back .5g and trickled each one in. Much faster than using a dipper and weighing out each charge that way. I've noticed 4166 runs MUCH cleaner than whatever Lake City loads M80 ball with. I mean a LOT cleaner.

People need to be MADE to understand that this is in no way shape form or fashion, an infringement upon their rights....its an infringement upon everyone else's. Everyone should have the right to be reasonably safe on a public road, in the sense of focused sobriety. Driving should be done dead sober, reasonably rested, fully alert with undivided attention. Anything other makes you a piece of :poop: for endangering lives.

What a world if only more fools would put this much effort into being stupid.

IF the barrel is pitted, you have to ask yourself, how far and how hard am I willing to work to save it? Only the most horrifically trashed barrels are beyond saving. Paper patching a cast bullet will lap the bore back to a mirror. Especially if you dry patch.

I will also add, be meticulous. Keep everything and make copies. I just got my stamped approval yesterday (after five months!) for my suppressor. I made a copy of the stamped approval paper and put it the buttstock compartment of my rifle in case Barney Fife shows up.
