Bungee Cords work but Garufa's idea gives a bit of class with the redneck chrome.

Nice. Heirloom quality. Korean Vet huh? No telling what kind of fish heads he chopped off with that. Click-Clack Ding-Dong & Charlie Chan.

Awesome! I had an uncle who used to ride his 50lb boxer around on his 250 ATC. The dog would lie across the bars and what a sight to see; A grown man and his dog doing 50mph on a three wheeler on a public road. The dog loved it!

I consider it an accomplishment having lived this long with all the things I have done in my life.

What's with all the hacked up floor mats?

Oh yeah! Qbert River Raid Commando *Sigh* Fond memories of countless hours wasted. Spent many a night at my best friends house, fire it up after a Red Baron pizza and play nonstop till about 6 the next morning when his dad would leave for work and fuss at us for not going to bed.

You really expect me to wait that long?

No that's not the problem. I can scroll with the wheel on my trackball. When I move to click on a topic with multiple pages, the window covers the numbers so you have to circle around it and sneak up on it! I'll get over it, I just thought there might be a setting I missed. Thanks guys.

That was/is my thinking Suntzu. Multiples of the same weapon ain't like multiples of different weapons.

You'd have to prove to me that businesses go out of their way to post in a way that doesn't meet legal requirement. To me, it just says they are lazy and/or ignorant. I don't go in anywhere that is posted in anyway. I get what you are saying and if I were to have a discussion with owner of said business I may go in, but I don't go for innuendo. It's either yes I can carry or peess off!

I'm pretty close on this one myself. I sold a 80% of my collection just because it was a nuisance to me to reload for it and remember the in's and out's of each one. I have a couple AR's, all but one being a back up and XD handguns. I still have one bolt action 308 for long distance, but I can't, in both skill and lack of facility, shoot long distance so I am considering parting with it too. Leaving to just AR's, XD's and good pump 12g. I really don't wanna sell my last large caliber rifle, but discussions like these make me want to ax it and reinvest the $$$ in what I actually enjoy shooting. I did a blog about this a while back. I believe folks are stretched too thin by the love of this hobby. A jack of many calibers will never equal a master of one. One guy who studies the art of his AR will always beat out a guy who shoots an AK this week, a Cetme the next, Garand, then a M1A, so on and so forth.

Man, Bodock [osage orange] makes some AWESOME grips!!! As it weathers and ages they get really dark. The work I've done with it, i don't even pu a finish on it. I progressively sand it down to about 800 or 1000 grit and let it go. If you go with an oil finish don't get flustered, it doesn't soak it up very well. I used a scroll saw to rough them out and shaped them on a belt sander....SLOWLY. I like to hot glue mine together so they are perfectly alike. Good luck and post pictures.

You know the little windows that pop up when your mouse cursor touches something? When you touch a forum topic in particular, it will let you read the first few lines of the post??? How the heck do I get rid of that? I hate it, it's getting on my nerves. If I wanted to read it I'd click on the stinkin' thing. Thanks:hat:

I half expected to see a turd getting flushed when I clicked on it. Funny!

If you get this working, you may be the only loon in the state watching the news, broadcast in digital HD, on a 13" black and white. Let us know if it works!

I ain't scared of 'em, but I don't like that for sure. I just loaded 50 and the only difference in the load at all is the Wolf primer instead of the Fed. If they shoot just as good, I ain't paying an extra $10 per thousand just so I can say "Match".

Take it apart and gut it. Throw all the guts away and fit you a small flat panel tv inside. Put the back, back on and enjoy. There's a lot of people who retrofit flat panel tv's into the old cabinet tv's from yesteryear. The Zenith we had growing up was a work of cabinet making art. Some of them were gorgeous, and it's fairly retro stylish now to have on in you living room, only with a HD plasma fitted inside. It'll take some doing, but it can be done to look very well. If not for the radius of the picture tube not being there, you can't tell on some of the ones I have seen.

That's really funny Dolomite, because in my previous rifle I used to get laughed at for my loads. LC match brass, 174g match bullet, AA 2520 and WOLF primers. Accuracy was awesome and I never had a misfire over the span of several years and several thousand rounds. Reloaders bench will carry them when they can get them. They just never manage to get any in. I still have about 700 LR wolf primers. I'm switching back. Cheaper too! That's what I get for trying to get bigger than my breeches.
-
Ohh, and I just bought a 1,000 of the things! I like the accuracy from the first test so well, I bought a whole case. Now, I know this will likely NEVER happen again and thing do happen, but that is why i bought match grade stuff made by more experienced employees to keep this from happening. TO boot, I have NEVER in all my years had a bad primer from CCI, Wolf, winchester, Magtech or any other.

Was shootin' my 308 today. Brand new Hornady match brass, 168g Amax over AA 2520. Initial accuracy was AWESOME, but today really sucked bad. Groups opened up by a good two inches. Then.....click. Federal Match Primer, I pay extra for the match primer so I get a better product and this doesn't happen. I lifted the bolt handle twice and with a total of three strikes, it was dead to the world. These are new primers, I just assembled everything last week, and I keep my primers in a seal ammo can. The bad primer makes me want to blame the poor accuracy on them too. I was shooting the same load, powder, bullet, everything. Even the same bench, same rest, and the same distance. The real kicker is, I bought these primers as only one box just to see if I liked them. In a moment of stupidity, I pitched the box in the trash when I loaded all 100 of them. Now I don't know the lot number. I can't rightly complain to Federal without a lot number. And before anyone asks, YES it had powder in it. Grrrrrrr. This is crap.

I'm happy to hear that young man in Connecticut is going to his prom.

Maybe there's more to this than meets the eye. From the looks of her, I'd say the Headmaster was doing the poor sap a favor -
Good question Lester, I don't know. I'm sure being easily seen has made them a target for some lousy redneck to shoot and brag about though.
