Close the gun show loophole...or you are supporting Al Qaeda?

....or at least replace it with a wet gurgling sound:devil: -
Many of us have lived here all our lives and don't know any different......and it still sucks:) For the record though, I wouldn't wanna be anywhere else.

"Skill and enthusiasm" Okay, that got me tickled right there! -
This is very true!

If everyone based everything they watch on TV with your rationale of an intelligent person carrying his/her weapon Hollywood would be out of business. Almost every horror flick would be over in the first 15 minutes, every action film would be less than action packed, and zombie flicks would run like an episode Shooting USA. As to your question, I do the very thing you question, although I now keep it to myself or the wife gets p.o. for having to listen to it.

Drive safe, leave Sodom & Gomorrah behind you.....and a preemptive welcome to patron state of shootin' stuff.

Oh I love it! Now I wouldn't want any trouble but it sure would kick up some dander with any hippies in the area. An open carry picnic.......YESSIR I like it.

Me too.

I like the 308 better personally, and if you're going to get into handloading; the minimal gap between the 308 and the '06 gets even smaller. The 308 will be a short action and may prove to be a little light to carry depending on what rifle you choose.

I'll go one further and I am less inclined to gripe as much, if I knew there was an effort to keep druggies off welfare.

You will find out that SAW & .50 cal cans are a reloaders best friend. Air tight, rock solid, and cheap.

Yeah well, we are already done. Our goose is already cooked and on a platter. We're just waiting for the server to carry us to the table.

The Difference Between Zombies and Supermodels
Caster replied to JimmyMac483's topic in General Chat
I don't ever remember her looking like a modern model [ie Crackwhore] either. -
As for the original post. Chooot yeah, I'm all for it. If you cut the meth & crack heads off welfare, they will render themselves extinct and free up revenue that can be put to use for something that will actually benefit the country.

I agree with you, but only so far. Everything you said is 100% truth, but if the average american didn't demand a 40 hr work week @ 20+ bucks an hour plus benefits AND STILL not produce as much useful labor per hour as a $10 a day Taiwanese worker; They wouldn't HAVE to send jobs overseas. As it is now, it's all but too late. The dollar isn't worth spit, which means you have to have that $20+/hr job to pay the mortgage and two car notes, plus raising the kids, having recreation money and a retirement program. This ought to make most of ya'll mad but it's the truth. Entitlement runs so deep in this country, it even affects the ones who actually DO work hard. Myself included; Few if any know what it's like to truly "Survive" anymore. What we call basic necessities AREN'T. When you get mad at Richey for sending work over seas think about Detroit [who got what it deserves] Just like most every civilization in history, it got to big for it's breeches, rested on it's laurels and now it's a ghost town and a ghetto. It went from a place full of people working hard and making a good product to a labor union fighting to protect the lazy. Just desserts. I don't like it anymore than you, but don't be so quick to judge the rich. I'm not saying the judgment is unwarranted, just don't be so quick to hand it out. First and foremost on anyone's list is themselves and their family. You, me anyone with any sense. If there's any leftover, then we'll talk about charity or mutual benefit. They are just thinking about themselves. Double standard: It's okay for the working man to want to keep everything he can hoard but once you have more than everyone, it becomes wrong? Like I said I don't like it, but I don't blame them either. Workers show up and don't complain everyday, they don't strike for "give me give me" retirement handouts or working conditions..."it's hot we're on strike until you fix the A/C" The USA has become a nation of "I deserve better than this. Where's mine?" Instead of working with what you've got and getting on with things. Lingering around and complaining has not and never will make anything better. Everything we've got, we and everything we're getting, we [as a country] deserve.

I've done it using a long row of old tires pushed up tight against each other and covered with blankets when I was trying to sort out issues with an AK. My neighbor thought i was building something. He asked me "What was you beatin' on around there?"........oh I was straightening out a fender.

Good post Pfries. You don't have to like it. I can't say I like it, but I couldn't vote against it either. I don't know what tomorrow holds, and I wouldn't want someone taking options away from me that's none of their business anyway. If a man [or woman] is not physically hurting/endangering someone else It's absolutely NONE of anyone else's business what they do with their life. NONE! That's everyone's problem in this country. Can't nobody mind their own damn business. ALWAYS with their nose stuck in someone else's life instead of dealing with their own problems. If someone can actually say they have no problems and have so much free time that they need to deal with other people's problems, I'd like to meet them so I can tell them how full of they are.

Back in the 70's some fords had a trunk like compartment in the side of the bed. Chevy's too me thinks.

I rode for years and never had a wreck. Now I defy the odds by never riding again. An old guy told me something when I first got into bikes. He said "Son, there's only 2 kinds of motorcycle riders, not 3, just two. There's people who've had wrecks, and there's people who are going to have wrecks."

Well I finally stopped in. Was greeted with a smile. The lady was very polite, the gentleman was talking to a Metro cop and he still took a second to say hello. Was tickled to see a reloaders section. Prices were more than fair and even found what I thought was a great deal on type of cast bullet that I don't cast but wanted to try. There's a lot more in that store than it used to be and it ain't just guns and ammo, things like courtesy. But one thing they don't seem to have in stock anymore......@ßßholes. No doubt about it, I'll be back and gladly spend money there.

Yeah but altleast they're still close by. If they ever sell factory direct, you could still go get one.
