  1. Mehhh, this happens all the time. Internet forums are forever plagued by people getting their feeling injured and then showing how eTuff they are. Everyone is a tough guy on the interwebz. Confused am I as to why so many feel the need to show their own stupidity by resorting to infantile, poo slinging monkey tactics. If you don't something or someone or even a group of someones, you can all them out intelligently and have a heated intelligent argument.
  2. Yep, that was cool. As for the hiding comment, if you're gonna hide, you should hide behind the front wheel. At least you'll have the engine and brakes to protect you. Better idea is, don't be there.
  3. I call that bold talk from a one eyed fat man!
  4. There shouldn't be anything funny about what I just watched, but I did get a chuckle when I read "no one knew what had happened" & "county trucks parked behind any vehicle w/ Kansas plates"
  5. Hmph, some friend. Keep him away from your wife and kids.
  6. What the heck is GOC?
  7. It'd be fun to try though. And good family fun to boot!
  8. Right. I suppose the military cannot afford to take a stand, but it seems like they could send some National Guard troops to surround the place.....you know, to show respect and all and keep them away from the bereaved.
  9. Peel an apple?
  10. How long before someone deals with those people? We're all supposed to have patience and wait on God for vengeance is his.......I'll be happy when he decides to deal with these people. I bet they'd stop this crap if someone would organize a good old school rumble..sticks, chain,s bats, and golf clubs. Remove a few teeth from the mouths that spew this filth and that end that. Having the right to protest anything and say anything is their right and I won't hear of a law that would change that because it would just open the door for MORE "laws in the best interest of.." but I wouldn't begrudge a little vigilante bludgeoning.
  11. Not to derail the subject but that brings up an interesting point. If it's truly zombies one prepares for [no metaphor] why such a waste of space, weight and revenue to stock centerfire cartridges? Some 12g sure in case you're over run, but ONE GUY could decimate a city full of zombies cheap and easy from the comfort and safety of a rooftop. Here's his equipment list. *Reliable .22 w/ relatively quality optic. *A few bricks of Wal-marts best bulk pack *Coleman Cooler with sodas, beer, pack of cheese, pound of baloney, and loaf of Roman Meal *Some sunscreen *Charged iPod loaded with plenty of Zepplin, Kansas, Reo Speed Wagon and Blue OÂ¥ster Cult Toss in an Otis Kit, a can of Remoil and a screwdriver set and you're ready for the best day of shooting entertainment in your life! Total price, Less than the cost of a decent AR. Zombies are dumb and slow and only need a scrambled brain to be neutralized.
  12. That's right. Though technically speaking I could legally take a chunk of aluminum and whittle me out a receiver from scratch and the atf STILL wouldn't be involved provided barrel length, NO fun parts in the lower, and only a limited amount of foreign made parts are used [not an issue on AR's like it is on ak's] ...but yeah, all the AR's I own are †††CASTER††† assembled. and there's no paperwork [beyond buying a receiver] no red tape or HooDoo spells to cast. It's big boy Legos®
  13. Is that all? pppffftttt. :D:D:D
  14. With no one's habit to feed but my own and having spent CONSIDERABLE time getting ahead of my own game, Reloading is just as it's been said, relaxing. Unless you're stupid, you have to pay attention to what you're doing and you tend to not think about anything but the task at hand unlike some of life's more mundane chores. Plain and simple, it's "Me Time" and it let's my noggin' simmer for minute.
  15. It's not that it's cheaper to build one, although if you skimp on things you can build one pretty cheap. The reason is simple, if I can build or buy one at relatively the same cost, BUT for the same money, the one I built is EXACTLY the way I want it set up v/s the one bought that I'll just end up changing out a few parts to make it suit me. My father in law always says "Well, if it don't cost but a nickel more to go first class, why ride in the back?"
  16. That was actually a good ploy on their part. Once again with the spin doctoring, they were trying to impress upon the younger crowd the benefits of preparing for natural disaster or pandemics.
  17. I was thinking political, but you're absolutely right, it can just as much be racial.
  18. I think if or when it comes to it, our own will not come to seize. They will refuse under the premise of contradicting beliefs or outright fear. It will then be left to a UN task force to do so. Now I don't like the idea of shooting at another human being. It chills me to the depth of what's left of my conscience, BUT I don't see issues arising from "defense against a foreign invader" Not to mention those blue helmets will be easy targets in the forests of TN. They may have armor and heavier weapons, but they still don't stand a chance unless they want to carpet bomb the country. I don't want to see this happen, but I'm hardly in fear of it. [maybe I should be, I don't know.] If they want to try, come right on down here and try it.
  19. Zombies are an acceptable metaphor for anything you'd like to discuss open war against. You can discuss specifics and tactics, ideas and what not, using the zombie as a proverbial whipping boy and not fear being labeled a dissident or anarchist or militia nut. Listing the things that zombies take the place of negates their utility so use your own imagination. With the exception of topics such as this, most people are oblivious to the actual meaning and will instead just chalk it up to infantile silliness. The sheeple do not perceive as dangerous, the ones that prepare for a zombie apocalypse like they would for those who prepare for........other things It's just another form of camouflage. Much like going out in public wearing blue jeans and a simple t shirt conceals you better than any camo fatigues. Smoke, mirrors and innuendo.
  20. What a waste, a sad, sad waste.
  21. Yeah, that's bad. Could have got a better quality piece if you'd just let the little one modeling for us, do it with a crayon. What kind of primate is that supposed to be anywho?
  22. There's a 410 bolt gun in the classifieds right now.
  23. I'd take that bet. I've seen some wild colors some guys do for their daughters. I have no kids, but if we were to ever have a daughter I'd do that in heartbeat if it made her happy. EGAD! What am I saying!!!!?!?!?!?!?! We don't want kids! God has an incredible sense of humor, I have to be careful of the things I say!
  24. Bison makes deep well hand pumps. Go ahead and buy one or two, they'll only set you back close to a grand each.
