  1. They should all be fired on the spot. I would have a law suit on them so fast.....(now caster, don't start cop bashing, we know several cops who are absolutely awesome people) It doesn't matter what the guy did wrong, there is NEVER a reason to talk to someone like this. Pathetic to swear at another person like this. I get mad, I say things I shouldn't also, we're all human, but it just shows a lack of intelligence to swear and needlessly raise your voice to guy who seemed to be cooperating. Once more, there are many defining qualities that make a man a "real man" COURTESY HAPPENS TO BE ONE OF THEM! To every cop I have ever met that treats me fairly and talks to me respectfully, I pray for your safety, I thank you for working to keep me safe, If I see you in the line at Taco Bell, I'll buy you a cheesy bean and rice burrito;) To any that, like this video shows, are of obviously limited intellect and have serious insecurities....Seek professional help and grow up. I hate these videos, they anger me, and what's worse??? They make our real heros look horrible. The men and women who not only deserve, but have earned our respect have to live down the bad reputations of useless dirtbags like this.
  2. Only thing I will say is that it's hard for my wife to remember that I am actually an employee during the day. Not that she harps on me or anything, but she has grown very accustomed to having me here to do things at any time. I've hurt her feelings more than once by dropping what I was doing for her to tend to a customer. She understands though....doesn't like it!, but understands.
  3. Too clean. How do you ever expect to get any work done in such a sterile environment? Buy some more stuff and then save yourself the trouble of letting time do it for you, just pile it up and get it over with.
  4. Watched one of them shooting shows on the Outdoor channel the other day and he was saying how Israel did that, I thought I understood him to say there were others. Maybe I should have paid more attention.
  5. I just ordered some more parts. In that order was a new gas key and bolts. When they come in I am going to red locktite and torque them down. I'll shoot you a pm then and see when it's convenient. Cool?
  6. You know, a lot of highly trained special force groups in other parts of the world carry on an empty chamber. I do believe Israelis do this. Just because it's different from what the people around you do, does not make it wrong. It's what you train and have become proficient with that matters.
  7. Whaaaat? Shoot no man, I get greasy for a living. I thought "IT" was a Stephen King novel. My iMac is just like what scientists say the human brain is; only 10% of it's true potential ever gets used.
  8. The Sig or the Beretta 92. You cannot lose on either.
  9. All my guns are Zombie rated. If they weren't, I wouldn't own them.
  10. With an XD, it's as close to impossible as it can get. I'd say 99.999999999999%
  11. Don't feel bad. Not for one second. I've been through a pile of 45's trying to find one I can shoot decent. Never had any real results. For many moons I have held to the gospel of the .45ACP, but it seems it was all in vain. I sold all but one and the only reason I keep it, my wife bought it before we were married. It's a cool girlfriend that buys you a pistol. So it's a treasure. I sold all my other ones, and shoot 9mm exclusively as far as auto loaders go. I like 38/.357 and 45 Long Colt in my revolvers. I figure one thing about it all, and my logic is undeniable; A 9mm that strikes the target every time beats the heck out of a 45 that does not. As far as suggestions, I think you ought to check out a CZ or a Sig. Both absolutely FINE handguns and meet the no plastic prerequisite you set. ...oh by the way, Welcome to the crowd!

    Bad Joke...

....so, did the guy buy the gun or pass on the deal?
  13. I've never give my Sp101 a second thought:D Seriously, back when I used to carry a 1911, I was a nervous wreck, then I calmed down..then I sold them all and went to an XD. Do you reload? I'll tell you a fun thing to do, prime a case, but no powder/bullet. Chamber it and then whoop the fire out of the gun. I did, and do with every new gun. Wrap it in a towel and get a very soft rubber mallet. Drop it on the carpet, run in place, do some jumping jacks, start a mosh pit with some friends. I'm NOT telling you to actually damage your gun, but give it as much h3¬¬ as you feel comfortable with. Do your absolute best to snap that primer without touching the trigger. If you bought a decent gun, in good shape, that hasn't been worked on by Bubba-gunsmithin' You'll be surprised how difficult, and hopefully impossible it is to do. AND, if it does go off, you'll know what not to do......like keep it! Just a thought, and be sure to clear the weapon a minimum of ten times first.

    Ruger P9

Well, as far as the SP101 in .22 goes...I copied this from their facebook page. An article on a Ruger SP101 in .22 LR was recently published in the August issue of Guns & Ammo Magazine, which just hit newsstands. This article was inadvertently run, as Ruger is not producing a SP101 in .22 LR at this time. This model is not available for sale at the moment and we are sorry that this article gives that impression. Guns & Ammo accidentally "jumped the gun" and released this story prematurely; we hope to begin shipping this model by August 1, but we'll keep you posted! Both Ruger and Guns & Ammo Magazine apologize for any confusion. Be sure to stayed tuned to Ruger.com and our Facebook page for the latest product launch information! When any new product is ready to hit the streets - you'll hear it from US first! - June 30, 2011

    Ruger P9

I don't know how I'll be able to resist the SP101 in 22!!! Lord knows I can't afford one, but.....I gotsta have me one!
  16. Oh how nice that would be. Better not stay around State side if that's what you want. I hear the air is nice and clean in the Alps.
  17. Some billionaire playboy seriously needs to get in on this!!! Yacht club this buddy!!!!!
  18. Ahhh, wife justification. My wife still asks me "Do you REALLY need more?" ................yes, yes I do. When is enough, enough? When I have to stop spending money on reloading to do floor joist repairs.
  19. Yes it is. *jealous*
  20. I work from home in the family business. I know what you mean. When I think of going back to what I was doing, It makes me happy I don't have to. Happiness working at home means not having to commute and share the road with imbeciles, not burning money on gas and fast food, eating from my own fridge, using my own toilet, Happiness is knowing I have to be to work by 8am and I can set the clock for 7:45 and not be late, or better yet, set the clock for 6 and do some reloading while it's nice and cool in the shop. Yup, homework ain't what it used to be. Thank God.
  21. I made my comment of surrender because there will be no one to leave them to. There's certainly no family member I would consider. Maybe I should start a trust after all and name a few of you guys, yeah?

    .300 BLK?

Hey thanks Capbyrd! I appreciate that! I was just talking to Alleycat, I think I am on the right path. I'm going to focus on supersonic loads with light bullets until early next year. By then I hope to have my suppressor for it. Then the heavy weights come out. Average distance for where I would deer hunt would be 50-75 yards. This thing ought to be great for that, as well as zombies.
  23. Well, you get to put as many people as you like on your trust. That allows anyone on the trust to be in possession on anything IN that trust. People who have families that share the interest can list several members. For example you, your wife and son could be on the list. They can use your SBR just the same as you can. In the event of your passing, they likewise use, acquire and dispose of items in the trust without you. Handy if, like many, you have a family you care about and share with. Me? Well my wife could care less and I have no one else. Should my wife out live me, she's been instructed call the ATF to surrender it or ask to file an abandonment (I don't know if a non FFL can do that???), and give them a letter written by me, kept in my safe as to what I would like them to do with it. With any luck, my prayer will be answered; That I live long enough to take care of my wife to her last day. Then, just as before the powers that be can take it and ................................yep that's enough out of me for now.
  24. That wouldn't cost a criminal and extra $15 per mag, they'll buy it out of town/state or steal it. They proposed this crap a few years ago in CA along with the laser etched bar code nonsense. PPpppfffftttt!!!! I'd like to see you tax my molds or all the primers I accumulated during the big "O" scare a few years back.
  25. In my seriously limited understanding, the benefits would be: Bypassing an un-cooperative Chief LEO, and easing the transition of ownership after you pass. Also allows more than one person to legally use/be in possession of said registered device. I have no problem with the local LEO and there's not a single person I give a rat's hind end about when I take a dirt nap. So no benefit seen for me either. I'm sure I am missing some other benefit(s).
