  1. I would say the same thing about people who follow grown men playing silly games with a ball. Many people find fictitious things dumb or beneath them but sports are equally worthless. It's all pass time. If it makes you happy (and it's legal) it's all good.
  2. Already done Metalhead. Palpatine was reborn into a series of clone bodies for a time and Luke served him as the Supreme Commander. He quickly returned to the light though and Palpatine was destroyed forever.
  3. Hey tech nutz, can you make a ps4 play on an iMac display?  OS X 10.10.4 Yosemite.  I know some of the older models it was possible but not practical due to lag.   Thanks
  4. You say that but studies have proven that active imagination and especially reading (anything) is one of the best things you can do to fight Alzheimer's and dementia. So long as you don't end up in moms basement twenty three hours a day playing world of Warcraft on line, reading and and engaging your mind in occasional fiction is very healthy for your mind.
  5. I'm a sick sob. I'm kinda hoping they try.
  6. Spots, where did you find that poster?  I would pay decent money to watch you beat JarrJarr's head out on your anvil and stretch his hide across the back wall of your forge house.
  7. I will give you that.  Children of the Jedi and Twilight was like pulling teeth to get through.   I think I most enjoyed Karen Traviss and Troy Denning.  Really like Troy Denning because I was a big Dark Sun fan in high school and he is an amazing author.  Dark Sun is Dungeons and Dragons for those who don't know.  Very worthy of your time if you like reading.
  8. OOOOOOOhhhhhhh!   By far my most favorite bit of expanded universe knowledge.  Not as awesome as some things but knowledge is power...  R2D2 was never wiped.  Never.  He had full length records of events and conversations dating back to before Anakin was found.  ALL of it was intact.  Luke Skywalker never knew this until many many years later.  He could not access it because Anakin was a computer programming god.  HIs encryptions were unbeatable.  Luke finally managed to bypass some of it and used the force to get into other parts of it.  Eventually, he got to see his mother, his father their relationship and a like watching netflix to catch up on past seasons, he got to see the rise and fall of his father.  This was a MAJOR contributing factor why Luke became so powerful and decided to wipe clean the old order and rebuild an entirely new order.  Attachments are no longer forbidden, love and family are encouraged under his regime.     Seems silly to some but this part of the story like was HUGE to me.  Imagine getting to see a mother you never knew.  Getting to see the mistakes made and learn from them.  That's quite significant in my mind.
  9. You should read some of the expanded universe novels.  The Jedi in the books make the Jedi in the movies look like a cloned splice between JarrJarr and Al Gore.  ObiWan and Qui-Gon were bumbling fools by comparison.  I mean for the love of god, Kyp Durron had a higher midichlorian count than Luke, maybe as much as Anakin.  The man pulled a ship out of the heart of a star with nothing but the force.  Makes lifting droids and rocks look pretty lame.   The Sith (during the time of Darth Bane) used the force to detonate a thought bomb, killing all force sensitives in the area.  Literally blowing the heads open.  Makes Palpatine and his lightning look like a parlor trick.     Did you know that Anakin was so strong with force that he didn't actually need his apparatus to breath?  He could use the force to move oxygen directly into his cells.  Problem was, he still loved Padme and the thought of her and that love made it impossible to hold onto his hate for extended periods of time.
  10. Barely interested. Won't be seeing it in the theater. THIS coming from one of the biggest Star Wars fans TGO has ever had. Not bragging, just truth. Why? Disney. What did Disney do that's so bad you ask? Disney has come out and said that any and all expanded universe is no longer canon. Bull śhît!!!!!!!! I spent years reading. There are over 200 full length novels and stories that are ten fold more involved and in depth than ANYTHING Lucas ever did. Just the work Karen Traviss did with the Mandalorians and Clone troopers is massive. So they're gonna tell me that Grand Admiral Thrawn never existed unless it suits them? Eff You!! The Yusong Vong war? Jacen Solo becoming Darth Caedus? Boba Fett finding the cure for accelerated aging to save thousands of clone lives? Mandalore making a full recovery and the return of the Madalorians? Boba building the most elite and highest quality military manufacturing facility (Mandal Motors) surpassing even the Correlians for bad ass star fighters? Did Chewbacca NOT die saving Anakin Solo from a moon crashing into Serndipal ? (Okay, that would be nice) I could go on for hours and it's all for nothing? I hate you Disney. The Force is not in you.
  11. I liked it better when it was on video cassette and starred Naomi Watts.
  12. Might be a decent investment to buy up some unrepairable junk. Should be able to make a few bucks even. I've known people who've done just that on the private cash for guns programs. One thing else to consider if it moves forward, theft will skyrocket. It'll likely be a few or no questions asked deal for those who voluntarily produce them for the buy back. Lock them down tight!
  13. Me and wife love Carol. My wife has been a vocal Carol fan since season 1. Who wouldn't want a mom like Carol?
  14. Do it! Maybe even consider some retroactive hall of fame alumni. I can think of a few thieves, crooks and general douche bags worth mentioning.
  15. Flying Southworst a fella probably needs a couple stiff drinks.
  16. Good gawd, suppressors are nasty. I thought I knew but now I have about 500 through my YHM Ti Phantom. Nasty! Anyway, the brass takes a right nasty stain too. About an hour in the tumbler and they're "clean" but the staining is there. I think it's paranoia with a dose OCD truthfully but has anyone noticed any issues with brass life as it relates to the heavy staining? I can't see it being a problem as long as it's actually clean, but thought I'd ask others experience. Lemishine wouldn't touch the stains either. I ain't using anything else, ammonia based products would certainly get it shiny again....at the cost of my brass. No thanks. I guess I really need to invest in a rotary tumbler and SS pins w/ soap water........but I'm not. Too dang cheap for that. I'm on my 4th reload of some once fired Hornady brass. After 5 total loads, they show now signs of wear, cracked necks or rings at the base. Even after full length sizing I'm trimming only a whisker with my WFT trimmer. I could easily skip that for at least every other load. I can see another 4 or 5 loads easy. I guess one good thing, the piece or two that my brass catcher misses are easy to spot amongst the brass laying on the range. Lol!
  17. Impressive cause I just stippled my 19 and nothing did would give me the soft smooth texture they have there. I even bought a wood burning iron with an adjustable thermostat. I like it!
  18. Original stock on an original pistol yes.  Reproduction ANYTHING....no.  Got into that when I played with broom handles.  The serial numbers need not match but it must be an original buttstock to that era.   Seems kinda grey but that's typical ATF.  Also the Hi power can't be any late model or modified deal either.     I'm sure there's a serial number cut off date somewhere.
  19. Now you need to start casting for that thing!
  20. Awesome. 99's do NOT get the love they deserve. They're incredible rifles. That one appears to defy blue book value......priceless. Thanks for the share, that's great!
  21. Midg-e-haad!!!!!
  22. Not really. Family men. Men with children. Make food and safety for those children priority #1. The men will follow. Take your avatar for instance. Precious little one in that frog life vest. As long as that little one is safe and sound, reasonably well fed and not mistreated in any way......you'd do what was asked of you, again within reason. A man who cares about his children can always be trusted to what's in THEIR best interest, screw the rest of the world. Make THEIR best interest YOUR priority and loyalty is yours for as long as he feels he can do no better for his children. I've said it many times, there's very little in this world that's More dangerous than a man who love his wife and kids. What he's capable of doing to see them fed clothed and sheltered is pretty scary.
  23. Yep, blank adapter. Might be best if you DONT try to fire live ammo through that. You just need to trust me on that.
  24. Here's you one
  25. I've got over 80 hrs in DragonAge Inquisition and the Feds can eat me, they suck!     What's my score.
