So am I the only one who shops around for a flashlight and becomes severely confused? I have a bunch of the best Big Lot's has to offer ($8) led's that say 65 lumen. Well, i have a Surefire that says 60 lumen and it is a more confined beam, but it's not really brighter. Difference? The surefire is a 123 battery vacuum. The cheapies run on three rechargeable aaa's. So, other than throwing money at it, like dropping a few hundred bucks on name brand stuff, how's a fella to know what decent and what'll crap out when you really need it? For instance, Ultrafire. Obviously chinese Surefire wannabe's. But you can get a 900 lumen light, with two batteries and a charger for $25 on sleeze-bay. Now, I've never heard of an 18650 battery, but they're fairly cheap and rechargeable many times. Anyone know if this is some more ridiculous chinese claims or they really that bright? If they hold up at all? I know you're not going to get a top of the line light but for that money, I can buy several and scatter them about. Come on, what'a'ya'll know?

Yeah, but isn't this what our tax dollars are used for; Training US Marines? What would bet that a detachment of Marines could solve that mess in a few weeks? I'll bet you my computer I'm typing on, if they're given S&D orders, they'd produce results! AND, think of the billions in cash they could bring home. OR at least destroy so our dollar is worth more.

Well, if it went through the mail it CAN be construed as mail fraud, that's a federal offense. BUT since you mailed it first.....? I'd go through a moderator first and try everything you can. Then, I'd ask David if he's okay with it and post the guys name and personal info. I bet one of us lives close enough to be a thorn in his side. Smearing the guy publicly is absolutely last resort tactics, but I would certainly do it before I let it go. -
Stupid. How about Dave Ramsey for president? He'd say put those billions toward our debt. How about solving the border problem by raiding every drug lords home and taking that cash too. Put that towards the debt. How about actually paying off debts? Why is that so hard to grasp? There was an old Kroger commercial when I was a kid. The guy says : " If you wanna save money...spend less. Why this is such a mystery, I'll never know."

Mike, as good as mine feels now; If it shoots well to boot, I'm going to have to agree with you totally.

Well, as I never wear long pants, it's out for me. IMO though, I'd have to say it's one of the worst ways to carry. Retrieval is slow and clumsy. If you need it fast in a pinch....well ya'll are smart enough to know what I'm saying. Also think of as many scenarios as you can. What if you need to get to it not only on the quick, but discreetly? A BG will see you lift a leg or crouching down. I say this for Caster only, but hip carry is the only reasonable option.

Never fired a CZ 75 but I would really like to. I like the design and yours looks great!

Well, the other day I took it apart. I'm not a big fan of taking revolvers apart, but the SP is rather simple. It appears as though pigmy trolls took a in there! I get it all cleaned up and find that the pawl detent was broken. Ordered a replacement from midway and since I was in there already, I took an EDM stone and deburred everything. I took care not to remove any mating surface material. Did a full on robo scrub of everything and lubed it up. I went ahead and replaced the factory hammer spring with a 9lb Wolff reduced power spring. I just got the thing back together a little while ago, and while I have yet to shoot it, all I can say is WOW! Attention SP101 owners: Read the above and do it for yourself, you wont regret it! Seriously, I have pistols with better triggers, but not by much. NONE with so little invested to get to that point. :woohoo: Caster is a happy camper!:woohoo:

...But he won't. Now he's the laughing stock of the Nay Seals that he was so proud of. He's a joke of a man no matter how well he performed. Judging him by his attitude on the show, I wouldn't pee on his bald head if he was on fire.

I may get my rifle out and clean in during commercials for added dramatic effect:)

I wondered about the release. First season was short and released for halloween. They waited until the same time to release the second season. Hmm, that's a great marketing strategy. Release a new season, every year around Oct and wind it up quick as interest falls fast when christmas approaches. Save it up for next year. This could go on for a long time and not get old. Maybe I'm way off base???

If they're allowed to use the road, why aren't they made to buy tags and insurance?

Be sure you have some "sssthoop" and some instant mashed 'taters to get you by for the first day or two.

I'm not watching it at all. The commercial turned me off when the arrogant MORON claims "I'm one of the few people left that can make a gun from a block of steel." Well aren't you special, you insignificant piss ant? There are butt loads of tool & die makers that would beg to differ. I was one of them for over 12 years myself. ANY machinist worth his salt can cobble up a gun that will fire, and many of those machinists can do much better than that. It would take me hours to explain all the things I have seen in the bottom drawers of Kennedy tool boxes;)

There is a GOD....or not. AR's v/s AK's Hi-Points are good/bad This is a great idea. It could consolidate a large percentage of TGO traffic into one thread!

I would add : Why are non believers so adamant to prove something doesn't exist than believers are to prove it DOES. I'd say fear, but that'll start another fight.

You gotta remember too, the business of "Thou shalt not kill" is taken WAAYYY out of context because of a poor translation to our language. As rear in the Hebrew bible [a much more accurate account and translation] it is read as "Thou shalt not commit MURDER" Big difference. Really big.

That's what I was thinking. Oil and water. Love them both, but they need to lead totally separate lives.

I have several different weight Wolff springs for the SP. I've just never changed them.

I was born and raised in church, I don't go anymore but I believe now as much as I ever have. Having said that, I have one, and ONLY one response to people that pose that to me: On the day of judgement every knee will bow and every mouth will confess. I will have to give an account of myself to the final judge. The final judge isn't a filthy human, and I don't owe any human an explanation as to what I have believed. Also, God knows my heart and he knows there is NO blasphemy here: No god worth serving would ask me stand there and be killed or WORSE watch as someone I care about gets hurt or killed. I want to stand before God and be able to say that I have never hurt anyone but I'm not going through life so scared of it that I wouldn't act to save myself or the life of another. IMHO, The instant you make the decision to hurt/kill innocent people, you forfeit your right to live as well. If God doesn't like that, he's not only capable, but more than welcome to change my mind for me. Funny that he hasn't seen fit to do it yet.
