  2. I was surprised too. She looks so funny in the cowboy hat. All I can see is Bella Talbot. The cut throat but suave, trader of enchanted artifacts from season 3 of Supernatural.
  3. Just a reminder: So saith David, there's a grace period for a short time to leave feedback on old transactions. Please do so. Soon it will be that you can only leave feedback for a transaction that happened in the last 15 days. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/tn-gun-owners-announcements/64655-itrader-feedback-ratings-back-details-within.html#post810299 http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/tgo-forum-support/64663-new-feedback-rating.html
  4. That's great! You can't find a decent wool blanket anymore except mil-surp and they are getting expensive. NOTHING, I mean NOTHING gets warm like wool. NIce to see.
  5. Thank you David.
  6. The day my mother first heard the word's "It's a boy"
  7. First off, if people will use this, I think this is an AWESOME tool. I was going back through past transactions by referencing the feedback forum/search-caster and trying to leave feedback for everyone I have dealt with. I wasn't keeping count on how many I managed to do (several) but now it says, "Sorry, you can't leave anymore feedback today" uhhh, okay. I guess I'll pick it up tomorrow. I'm posting because if there are others like me who are going to try to go back through during the grace period for old transactions, AND this can be turned off for the time being, it would really help. I was almost finished, but now I'll have to finish tomorrow.....if I remember.
  8. Oh I have. You are right too, it is awesome. Four figures for a shogun though....probably won't happen.

  10. Well, another nice weekend to be out in the shop. Finished off 482 12g buck loads. AA hulls, f114 claybuster wad, winchester primer, 24g of Universal, and (9) .32 caliber balls cast by yours truly:) This is a really good load. I have tried it in several of my buddies autos and it has cycled all of them perfectly. Too bad I sold all the 12g's I had. Can't find one that suits me. 870's, 1400's, 500's no thanks. I won't be happy till I have a Winchester 1200 or 1300. I LOVE my 20g model 120. Oh well, I should be stocked well by the time I get one next year.
  11. While not a bench rest rifle, that's how I felt about the CZ varmint in 223. It's so much fun when the rifle just *yawn* puts them in the same hole with ease. It's an ego booster.
  12. I noticed too that the green XD's are nowhere near as dark as the one I have. The one I have was bought the year the XD was released, so I have had it long time. It's pretty dark. I;m guessing some of it is from years of grinding my grubby paws on it, but still.... I think I'll probably just get another green one. Even thought they don't match, the current green ones look better alongside Magpul FDE than the XD FDE does. GRRRR!!! Why can't manufacturers understand that we gunnutz, plagued with OCD, NEED matching colors. They need to get on the same page and set an industry standard for flat dark earth....PLEASE.
  13. Anyone have an XD in flat dark earth? How would you say it matches Magpul's FDE? Judging by pictures on the interwebz, they don't match at all. The FDE on SA's website looks more like coyote tan. Looking to buy another XD soon, but you don't see FDE XD9's in stock often. I'd hate to order one and it not match my rifle at all. Bound by a code of honor, I'd have to buy the XD which means I'd have to build ANOTHER AR in tan to match it. The wife might get a bit upset by that although between me and you, I think that's an absolutely capitol idea!
  14. Are they jacketed or plated? Jacketed bullets for .22LR aren't very common in my experience. In fact, I can't remember the last ones I seen. They're fairly common with .22 WMR though. Most .22LR is swaged lead, some are plated like the hyper velocity Stinger. It's entirely possible I'm way off on this.
  15. The break in procedures (should be) used with the use of jacketed bullets in mind. Given reasonable care, it's really NOT possible to wear out a rifle with lead bullets. This is yet another benefit of cast bullets. There are BPCR shooters with hundreds of thousands of rounds down the pipe. I'll bet you my hat that all the wear in their pipes are due to cleaning and the corrosive nature of BP, NOT the bullet. SO, why bother on a 22LR where you'll never shove anything but a lead bullet down the bore? Personally, I think it's a waste of time on any rifle, but maybe your high end bench rifles get something out of it. Something I don't/never will know anything about.
  16. You are right as usual on matters such as these. I guess if it ever happens to me, I'm going to be in deep doodoo.
  17. It was obvious that you jest, but there's truth to it too. It can be frustrating constantly seeing the same questions over and over again. You just have to realize that everyone has to learn somehow and be patient with the repeats. You can't start out knowing everything....okay, well I did, but that because I'm special.
  18. Your right of course as far as the law goes. IF you're lucky enough to survive contact with the 80+lb pitt I call my friend and manage to take him....I will attack and let the chips fall where they may. I don't want to hurt anyone, but we have a couple of dogs, one of which is 9lbs of princess royalty. I would fire on someone with no conscience over her.
  19. Dear Israel, I pray for you, now pour it on them. Turn that crap hole into a sheet of glass. Set those persian rugs on FIRE! Your loving American gentile supporter, †††Caster†††
  20. The greatest feature of the Pmag!!!
  21. SO, have you tried out the brake? Wouldn't mind knowing how well they work. I sure would like to be shed of the birdcage.
  22. Nice sandstone! I'm counting about 6,500 rounds.....how long will that last? One good afternoon?
  23. Yes, yes, yes. Want to find someone who will survive, maybe even thrive WTSHTF? Here's a clue, he doesn't wear camo, he probably hasn't even heard the word "tactical" before. He'll likely be wearing a pair of bib overalls, and he will know everything about dirt, Massey Furgeson and skinning knives
  24. If everyone exhibited just a modest amount of common sense, preaching wouldn't be necessary. As such, that'll never be in the land of man, so preach on reverend, preach on.
