    Ever eaten Dog?

Well, I've eat a lot of chinese food from a lot of different places. I wouldn't be surprised if have eaten a little woof woof and meow at some point in time.
  2. You realize your screwed now right? You're gonna be broke from now on. If you think this is the only one you're gonna build, you are sadly mistaken. Nice job by the way:)
  3. Somebody ought to visit this guy with a pillow.
  4. I have a Leupold on my .308 but everything else sports a Nikon. I like Nikon very much.
  5. If mom don't go out and buy him a real gun this christmas, she's done him a real disservice. He's earned the real deal. If he was my boy, we'd be shopping right now.
  6. I just thought it was something you gave the kids to play with:)
  7. Great, now there's TWO pope's I think of as enema bags.
  8. Is the shooter dead yet? If not, he should be. I don't love every cop I ever met, but ANYONE who points a gun at a badge.....well, he'll get his comeuppance one way or the other. GOD be with this deputy in his hour of need, and comfort his family as well.
  9. I've got a small investment made in 50g soft points. My CZ527 is blisteringly accurate with them. Wonder if 1/8 is too fast for them? They shoot minute of barn door out of my 1/7 AR.
  10. Hope so. Never run a 1/8 before. Only 1/7 or 1/9's I knew for a fact that the original plan would have very accurate. I'm fairly confident in this too. I know I am glad I went with a heavy contour instead of the .920. I handled a couple of .930's they are very nose heavy. This 16 stainless heavy barrel balances VERY nice for me. That's another reason I went for it. I'm hoping it'll do well with ALL of my current .223 loadings. A 50g soft point [midway dogtown] A 62g steel core & a 75g HPBT match.
  11. 3 pound single stage, solid trigger. Not too light but certainly breaks easy. MAN, there's no play in this thing, anywhere.
  12. St. Jude Not many charities I give my approval of, but this one gets it more than any other I can think of.
  13. What happened to the visitor message board that we can leave people messages on? The one you used to get when you clicked on a person's profile. It was handy when a person exceeded their max number of PM's.
  14. SO there's a pile of extra parts I have accumulated in my shop, including an upper receiver with hairline crack at the rear that I don't want to use for centerfire. So, I'll build a dedicated 22LR. I've never even seen a dedicated AR in 22LR. What's different? I see the CMMG barrels and BCG's at Midway. Looks good. How's it work? Do you need the AR spring and buffer? Admittedly, I don't even own a .22 rifle anymore. Haven't for a while. I am custodian of my mother-in-law's Henry, but none for me. Looks like a good opportunity to remedy that.
  15. They're all losers and we're too far gone. Screwed. Voting now is kinda like wetting your pants in dark trousers; It gives you a warm feeling but no one really notices.

    AR lowers

That sounds more like a crap upper receiver to me.

    AR lowers

Tactical Innovations has some features well worth looking into. They have a set screw for removing the play between upper and lower receivers. The rear plunger is also held captive by a set screw. Fit is snug and finish is good.
  18. BTW, the trigger is AMAZING!
  19. Probably shoulda waited till it was truly done, but ....... I got my newest AR up to 95% finished tonight. I'm pretty amped about it. I had to downgrade from my original build plan a bit. I was going to go with a Yankee Hill upper, YH freefloat, and a Saturn barrel, but my wallet has given out on me. I grabbed a complete upper from J&T and to be honest, I think I like it just as good. If it shoots well, I know I will like it just as good. Especially considering I saved almost $400 going this route and I managed to get a bunch of other stuff at the show I have been needing; Not the least of which is a Winchester model 120 12g. I have a 120 20g, now I have it's bigger brother. YAY FOR ME! Build starts with a *Tactical Innovations Lower *Tango Down Battle grip *Timney trigger *Magpul CTR - That I am in serious need of swapping out for a black one, see my classifieds ad.http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/gear-classifieds/65967-ar-stock-please-help-trade-only.html *Magpul ASAP end plate *J&T Upper - SS 1/8 barrel, free float tube, J&T Dragon brake *SI BCG I gotta settle on an optic, I have a nice Nikon scope waiting on it, I think that's where I'm going. Check out the over size take down pins, and the dust cover;) The cover I had engraved by the Harford Engraving company. Great guys.
  20. That would be Police Knockmedown
  21. Cool barracuda.
  22. Beat me to it.
  23. No. BUT, there may be another option. Try using a filler like cream of wheat. You'll have to be start all over with load development and pay close attention for pressure signs, but you can use a case filler over the top of the powder charge so there is no empty space for the bullet to go.
  24. These are purposefully made indentions in the brass, put there by the manufacturer to prevent bullet setback. Cowboy action shooters will be familiar with 45 colt cases that have the same.
  25. High five to both of you. If I had a kid, I'd let him shoot one at any age. My old man was a stingy jerk with handguns. I snuck out a time or two with his 357 as a teenager and shot a few rounds, but I was 21 before I really ever shot a handgun to any degree. Seriously, good deal.
