  1. ^That's Right!!! I do 9x19 for about the same. Maybe a penny less. It does more than save you money too. It gives you yet another aspect to get hands on with your hobby, ensuring that you remain un-fazed by boredom. There's much to learn, much to experiment with and with success comes pride you can't buy with money.
  2. You won't come back complaining about it. ...braggin' maybe, but not complaining.

    ? about 25/06

No deer will stand up to a well placed 25/06. The 25/06 is also on the top list for flat shooters. You won't be let down by it if you do your fair share.
  4. Why not build her a pink AR and drop in a CMMG .22 conversion. A few years from now if she likes, she can pull the .22lr and really get down to business.

    RECOIL WOW!

I agree 100%. RPG beats that thing hands down.
  6. I had watch that again...Some people are crazy!
  7. Think so? Maybe.....
  8. Well it's obvious isn't it? He's living the amerikan dream. Making a living for doing nothing. He's probably VERY tech savvy and probably likes doing computer crap as much as I like to cast boolits. Only difference is, he's getting paid to do what he'd normally do for free. From some people's point of view that makes him a genius.
  9. Sure, okay. Don't pay me any attention.
  10. It's not him so much as the legion of people he represents. I can't stand non productive people. Genuinely disabled people obviously are excluded. If you don't produce or directly support those who do with services....Well, sports and video games and other forms of useless entertainment will not feed you in a time of real need. Hey! His fat aßß is doing better than me! Good for him. If he's making 100K it looks like he could spend a bit less on Doritos and hire a personal trainer though, as well as take a basic firearm course.
  11. Right, The way people are now, I wouldn't be shocked if they did come back. I hope they don't, but if they do, keep your calm and aim straight;)
  12. Someone sending you Matrix Code?
  13. They're not as easy as a AR15. If you're not handy working with metal, they can be a bit overwhelming. Not that you can't do it! I was a machinist for over 12 years, and I still did screw builds. I never messed with rivets. I used 10-32 button head cap screws then tig welded the heads and polished them off. They looked like rivets when i got done! Seriously, if I had to give you the end all advice, I would say study and shop around a little more. If you have the $700 to spend on it, you will pleased at how well appropriated those funds will be if you shop around. Try Pm'ing Mike. I know he's an Ak shooter, and he trains with them a lot. He'll know better than me.http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/member.php?u=14 there are other guys here too, but he comes to mind because I remember reading several of his posts on the matter.
  14. The best survival kit is the empty one God put between your ears. The better you fill it, the better the kit.
  15. Yeah, but that's the problem with this country. Fat, lazy and making money but not producing anything beneficial to society. I don't care if pays his way through life and his fair share of taxes, he's a leech on a society of leeches. And people wonder why the wheels of amerikan progress are spinning in the mud. I have more respect for the guy making minimum wage that picks up my garbage.
  16. I'd love...LOVE to have an M1A but ever since I had a lucking lug shear on a garand and almost drive it back into my face, I've been a little shy of them. I know, I know it's a silly excuse but the 1911 did me the same way [fired without pulling the trigger] and I have no use for them anymore either. That walnut stocked scout is a sexy beast though. Dang!
  17. They're hit and miss with Century. If they're good, they're good, but is it worth the gamble? You could throw in another couple of bills and get an SGL-21. Maybe someone else will chime in soon. I hung up my AK hat a few years ago. I had several, and the only ones I had issues with were century built. Along with their Galil copy and a CETME. All clunkers. Are you crafty with your hands? I built four of them, three of which were Yugo M70's. The thing I hate about Century M70's is that they mill the trunnions to fit a standard receiver. The Yugo is a tank in it's original form, thicker receiver, RPK type trunnion. It's a touch heavier, but it's VERY sturdy. AK's aren't exactly rare, and $700 is not a steal of a price. You won't be mad if you wait and shop a bit. Study about them and shop some more. It's a lesson I learned by taking my lumps [hard way]. Don't skimp. Buy something you don't read complaints about. If you google "Century Arms bad reviews" Your browser may lock up from data overload:)
  18. Even if they function flawlessly, that godawful elephant tusk for a magazine ruins the look of an otherwise nice looking rifle. At least it do for me, yuck.
  19. Century is crap made by epileptic monkeys. Save your money and buy an Arsenal or even a converted Saiga. It took me a half dozen purchases to realize Century has not a clue on how a gun functions.
  20. $24.99 ain't bad. I need to order me one.....I lost my Marbles.

    CZ 527

Well you have about 7 different models to choose from with variations on configuration in each model. I own a Varmint model in .223 with laminate stock, and it is VERY accurate with a ridiculously awesome single set trigger. CZ-USA -> Product Categories
  22. Walmart?
  23. You've just been directly exposed to a virus with a communicability rate of over 99%. There is no cure. You can only be placated for short periods of time by being feed more AR-15 parts, magazines and ammo. Magpul makes some pretty good viral suppressants though. Welcome to the sickness. We like it here:)
