I've had incredible service from the guys at Manson reamers. I'd bet my hat they'd be happy to grind one a touch tighter.

As with most sports, it's a complete waste of time money and resources.

As far as the OP's question: I'm not convinced of any organized religion's set parameters for passage to heaven. Going by the common standard, a monster of a human being that has murdered and raped children can feel genuine sorrow in his heart, confess, repent and be baptized and maintain a clean life until his death and he gets a pass but because I watched some porn when I was dumb kid, swear like a sailor when I get angry and enjoy a stiff drink or five in the privacy of my home I could very likely get the boot? No, it doesn't work that way and I ain't buying it. I understand failure to accept the truth doesn't make the truth any less true, but I refuse to believe that. No God worth serving will allow the atrocities a man has committed to pass unpunished solely on the fact that the guy asked him not to. The just and righteous God that is the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob; Father of Jesus Christ himself cannot be a just God and allow it to be. Likewise, what to do with a man who has helped others when he can, has NEVER hurt anyone and despite his temper has never so much as raised his hand to another in anger. This is my personal line in the sand with the word of MAN. Sorry to any who feel insulted by this, but this is the reason I am convinced that organized religion on the whole, is a joke. "God, I know you're real, but many of your self proclaimed followers are a joke. They mock you and defile that which you made holy. "

Has anyone ever thought of the possibility that no one is going? I certainly believe there's a God, but why would I not be surprised to see him come back one day and say to man: Okay, I promised I'd come back and I did. Well, I was going to do all this really cool stuff for you guys. Things your paltry minds could not have fathomed. I look at you now though and I ask myself...Why? Man is so pathetic, why should I bother. So I'm back to announce, I have officially changed my mind. I get to do that see, because I am GOD. You had much promise when I made you, but I gave you freedom of choice and this is what you've done with it. I'm ashamed of you, and I'm going somewhere else. You're on your own, best of luck to you. A lot of people would cry or scream and hate him for it. I wouldn't. I wouldn't blame him at all, and would continue to hold him in high regard knowing there can be nothing to gain from it.

Man, I really hate life insurance. My wife's dad took out a policy on me years ago. I'm not overly fond of being worth more dead than alive. And right now, I am.

Well, as much as I love my AR's, there's really no building to it. AK's must be built, AR's are "some assembly required"

One of my pet loads for 45 was a 200g cast over AA#5. A little over 8g. I'd have to look in my log book for the actual charge. It ran like a swiss clock.
-
I have very much the same problem. Small imperfections that would NEVER affect anything would drive me bonkers. My shift to AR's made building much easier and satisfying.
-
I've always had excellent results with Accurate #5. It meters VERY well.
-
Go ahead try it. Every AK nut should try it at least once. Some find it easy. I guess I'm too hard to please because all my attempts found themselves in the garbage. I built all mine on Nodakspud receivers. Fully heat treated not just the axis pin holes like on a typical home bent one. I tried three different times and all three would have worked just fine, but they sorely lacked a look of professionalism.

That's an awesome find!!!

Find a set screw that fits and red locktite it in there. Preferably one too long for the hole. Tighten it good with plenty of red locktite, then draw file it smooth with the barrel. A dab of permablue with a Qtip and forget you ever seen it.

.....don't click on more smileys then.

They don't look like Keltecs anymore. NICE. Very nice.

I had a gorgeous blued one a few years ago. It was near mint. I was not impressed in the slightest. My wife's Taurus TCP shot better. ...Oh god, I really did just say that didn't I? But it's true.

That's ten to one for powder consumption against my pet load in .223. I know they don't play in the same ballpark, but jeez, for every magazine full I fire, he gets three rounds off. Jeez.
-
Good god man! For that you get to find out what's on the menu at county lock up yeah? No I suspect once you got that mess of poo off of you, you'll not be going for round two!
-
Another one here.
-
That's going to be tough to force yourself to load a magazine backwards. I wonder how many people try to shoot it with the magazines loaded the other way? It's interesting to say the least. Don't leave us hanging, go shoot one and post some results. Thousand dollars isn't astronomical if the thing shoots good. Seeing the engineering involved, i'm surprised they're that cheap actually.

Well, welcome President Gingrich. If Chuck Norris says you can be prez, then you get to be prez. After all, Chuck can kill two stones with one bird.
-
Well, headspacing a new barrel is easier than an old barrel. On a new barrel ^ you're right. You press it in until it's right, then drill for the dowel pin. I;ve had to MOVE that pin location on a used barrel once to get headspace right. I'll never do that crap again.

I make a conscious effort to never start giving opinions. I don't ever wanna be "That Guy". But I will, in such a case as you present, speak up from time to time. I keep my comments limited to facts concerning my own personal experience and leave out any biased conjecture. I've never had an LCP, but had I been in your position, having had success with the LCP, I would have turned and told the guy, "I've never had a minutes trouble out of mine and happen to like it very much" More than once I have done that and the buyer continue to ask me questions. Sometimes they don't. When they don't I mosey on off looking at something else giving the impression I could care less if they were listening or not. I don't wanna be the know it all because the gun shop guys wanna THINK they know it all. Offend them and you'll never get decent service out of them.

It's aggravating and some of them are bright enough to induce an epileptic seizure. I hate them stupid lights.......but if they save even one cop from getting plowed by some moron who might not have seen him/her otherwise, it's worth it.
