  1. Who could possibly disagree that a minigun is a good idea? What a gumby.

    Glock vs 1911!

By that line of thinking, you need a smooth bore musket. They had few dozen decades of service.
  3. Now that's some usable advice. Words to live by.
  4. It's $60 now. He's decided to go up on price........and he's STILL the best bargain in the game. He told me he wasn't real happy about going up, but as everything else goes up you know. I told him $60/year is a bargain any day. And it is.
  5. Were you standing there with your arms crossed or did you actually say, "Hey, I need some brass"? With so many lame duck lookers, if you don't speak up, who knows what you want? It's a GUNSHOW, it's not rude to interrupt a little bit. I'll bet you a dollar if you'd said something, he'd have got your brass straight away. Like I said, it's a gunshow, people are talking everywhere. BS flows like the mighty mississippi. He's ALWAYS talking, he's a popular guy. He's usually talking when I get there. Just blurt out, "Hey, when you get a minute I need ______" and he'll start counting out your stuff. Bet on it.
  6. Welcome. I can't imagine living across the pond. I have a couple of friends from over there. Tossers both of them. No, they're good guys.....except for the fact that they lift their bonnet to check their oil....that's just silly. You can't beat a G-19. Might be the most popular pistol on the planet. There's a reason for that. Cheers!
  7. YEAH! Big difference! It went from to a darn nice pistol. Stoopid camera
  8. Well, if one is paying proper attention, it doesn't have to be anything more than a malfunction. After you load a gun, It should [iN THEORY] be able to go off in your hands and not hurt anyone. If it can't, I question where you're pointing it.
  9. That's true but honestly, who really cares about Kalifornia?

    Glock vs 1911!

We don't always get what we want. I can hear the drums in the distance. People will choose 1911's over Glocks for many reasons. *It's all they know, and don't want to know any better *They're convinced JMB was something supernatural and to be worshipped. *They're convinced the .45 will hit a man in the hand and knock him to the ground *They think they are prettier than a Glock......Okay, they win that one. *They think on paper accuracy is equal to practical accuracy therefore the 1911 is much more accurate than a Glock *I've even met a couple who think they are more reliable. *They put too much faith in "You get what you pay for" therefore a $3500 MUST be better than a $600 gun.
  11. Uh-huh. Sure. I'll give you two months tops.
  12. Sweet way to police your brass and links!!!
  13. Well, adding those "features" would be a move toward the rights of the manufacturers to make a good living because I sure as heck would never buy one or be forced to carry one. There's no need for stricter carry laws, infractions by carry permit holders are very low. Plus, no matter how strict, stupid people somehow always manage to stumble through. As far as unrestrained freedom and trampling the rights of minorities????? *sigh* Since the dawn of man, the strong have walked upon the backs of the weak. It's foolishness and arrogance to think it will ever change. Trampling rights sounds like ACLU rhetoric to me.
  14. GREAT! I loved it. This goes right along with it. For all those folks griping how revolvers can't be reloaded quick enough. I've posted this video many times, it never gets old.
  15. NO, No gun needs a safety. My Glock does not have or need any manual safety or magazine disconnect BS. You know what those features are? They're bandaid fixes for stupid people and they are made by [including the legislation] by stupid people. The problem is not an inanimate object and it's innate ability to do damage. The problem is, STUPID PEOPLE and the fact that they are entitled to freedom just like anyone else AND they are allowed to breed. The fraction can be further reduced to this: Natural Selection is being thwarted. Long ago in ages long gone guess what? Stupid people died. Why? Because no one stepped in to protect them from themselves and when they became a hazard to others, they were shunned or dealt with. What a great idea.
  16. Mike Zaytsev!!!
  17. You've never said what "THIS" gun was. A Romanian/Century rifle is hardly worth the effort in the first place, but a VEPR or a well massaged Saiga are certainly capable and well worth the effort.
  18. I beg to differ. There was an OBVIOUS hostile intent in the eyes of the two fresh corpses. Glenn is not fool, he knew it. Beforehand, EVERYONE knew the the WHOLE WORLD was hostile, so I ask again, "Glenn, where was that shotgun?" It wasn't in your hands. Why weren't you holding at ready? Rick had his ready and waiting, and let them know it. SO to should Glenn have had his. Tell you what Mike, if it's ever me and you in a bar in a world full of Zombies, I won't be putting my gun down.......Ha, that sounds like the lead in to a really bad joke.
  19. You got that right.
  20. RIGHT, why did Rick have to kill both of those guys in the bar? Glenn was supposed to have his back. Where the heck was that shotgun Glenn??!!!?!!
  21. Didn't see this thread. Someone else started another thread about this story. I'll just copy and paste then....
  22. This was no accident. There's NO SUCH THING AS AN ACCIDENT. It's sad, but this happened because the guy was an idiot. Plain and simple. Just like all the others we read about and discuss. Negligence is pure, unadulterated idiocy. Quoted as "He didn't know one was in the chamber" Hmmmm IDIOT! There's a few other dumb factors we can assume. First, he had his finger on the trigger. It wouldn't have went off it he didn't. Second, muzzle discipline. Did he know it was pointed in a safe direction. Hmm obviously not. I don't know what they'll do to him, but a public beating would be nice.
  23. Yes, it can be done. No, it is not cost effective.
  24. It's the lead poisoning
  25. It would only be suicide by cop if you let it get that far. That's what's so nice about talking about it here and now. Don't tell your doctors anything except where it hurts and if they wanna talk feelings or thoughts, get up and leave. Immediately.
