I've owned several over the years and found the Yugo's to on top as far as design. They are heavier, but.....they're heavier The only thing they have against them would be not having a chrome bore. That's not as bad as some tout, but it would be better if they did. As others have said too, watch out for anything Century makes.

I started to post about this the other day. No one seems to be using the "Vote post up/down" function. I think it's much better than the old "like" button. Now you get to show your malcontent as well as your approval.

You know, there's really only about 200 FPS difference between the .22 mag and the FN5.7 with comparable bullet weights. A 34g JHP running 2150FPS is pretty bad aßß! Ammunition for the .22 mag is not expensive dependent on your point of view. If you look at it like the .22LR then yes, it's expensive but looking at it from the same point of view we see our other guns: You can get Hornady Vmax stuff for 12-15 dollars a box of 50 which ain't bad at all. It's a shame it's no reloadable. BUT, here we go again, save those cases! There are guys out there that swage their own bullets and they use rimfire cases for jackets. They'd LOVE to buy 22 mag cases to the heavier weight .22 bullets.

I've thought about this many times, though not with a class III, just my EDC. I would, in court, at the end of the hearing, once I was cleared of any charges of wrongdoing and my name was cleared, RAISE MY HAND. The Judge will undoubtedly recognize me and I'd just ask plain and simple. "Your Honor, if I'm cleared of any wrong doing, is not a reasonable request to have my property returned to me immediately? If this trial is over and I've proven to be within my legal rights of self defense, then may I please have my property back sir?" It would be a nice tool to have when going to the authorities to get you gun back: The judge said, on record, that I can have it back. So give it to me.

I would LOVE to get into a .22 magnum rifle like an AR. THat would would be VERY cool. How many rounds could an engineer put into a magazine the size of an AR mag?

Capbyrd, The last .22 build of yours I liked very much. I didn't see anything tacticool on it. The fact that it looked like an AR meant nothing. The mossberg Mikegideon pointed to are the type that make me vomit. As much as I don't like the .22LR cartridge, I happened to like this one very much. Nothing on it that doesn't serve a genuine purpose. No flash or trash. This^ is not what we were talking about.
