HA!, By God I can do it!

I would volunteer as a munitions administrator. Give me a heat source and solid bench and some brass to work with. Happy days!

God, how many men would it take to properly fortify such a place? The logistics involved in just feeding and quartering them would be a nightmare.

Non-perishable foods, med supplies, toilet paper and booze. In a future world where no ever hits the fan, it's still worth what you paid for it! How can anyone go wrong with canned food and shotguns?

Never will I reprimand you for that comment but be mindful of what you say it lest we see a repeat of the Doomsday Prepper guy. Having said that....NEVER fire your last round of ammo, some things are worse than death.

I was just looking at a New England revolver yesterday in .32 mag. I would LOVE to have it but it's just another mouth to feed. The .32 H&R mag is an EXCELLENT cartridge. With the birth of the .327 federal I'm glad to see the renewed interest. The trio is complete just as the 38 special/.357mag/357max, you now have the .32 long/.32mag/.327 Fed. Nice pistols guys!

Economic collapse. We're on a razor's edge right now. No one really seems to appreciate the gravity of it. We're all on a real time market. There is no stock room at Kroger and walmart anymore. All it takes is for the economy to crumble enough to disturb the supply line and chaos will ensue. Look Katrina, imagine that nation wide. SHTF situations are a lot like being scared of the dark. Honestly, there's nothing out there that's going to hurt you that have much control over and the THE most dangerous thing that goes bump in the night....is man. Sheeple, lemmings what ever analogy suits you best, humans are now herd animals and any [real] cowboy will tell you that a spooked herd is much worse than the lurking wolf. You can put a bullet in the wolf but what will you do when all the drones and meat droids you rely on the keep the infrastructure going panic and start going ape ? Less than a micron of civilization has what it takes to get off the grid. We all depend on SOMETHING someone else is doing. Now, couple this with the fact that the middle income working man is getting sick and tired of working so other lazy lazy trash can do nothing. This country does not need most of the rich and the poor[lazy] are like a cancer. Get enough working men to say screw it and the rest will follow, falling like dominoes. I'm a firm believer in paying a fair amount of taxes. Render unto caesar what is caesar's. Unfortunately caesar is laboring under the delusion that EVERYTHING is his. A christian man will tithe ten percent. Well, if God can be happy with ten percent, so can caesar. Unfortunately, it ain't that way. Sooner than later enough people will say enough is enough and throw up his left hand, extend his middle finger and if you'll look closely, his right hand will rest ready at his hip.

Where? Centerfire Systems has the Armscor listed for $189.

Anyone have one of these very inexpensive pistolas? I have sold all my 38/357's but I have several...uhh...well I have a LOT of .38's loaded. This is unacceptable. I probably wouldn't shoot it a whole lot. Couple thousand a year. The Armscor is reasonably priced and looks nice. It almost looks like a Colt clone with the cylinder latch the way it is. Tell me what ya know.

*heavy panting* Withdrawal symptoms starting already. I guess season 1 on DVD will have to act as a methadone until Oct. :wall:

They're still in the house because they're afraid of Daryl-no-sleeves. Undead flee before him.

I didn't know there was such a thing.

Don't get rid of that slug barrel without talking to me first.

I just took a spoonful of ipecac syrup so I can throw up that slice of humble pie I eat. Thank you Taurus for reaffirming something I now know to be absolutely true. Tattoos and guns are the same. Cheap ain't good and good ain't cheap. Taurus, You should be getting a kickback check from Glock. Taurus's quality makes many people a Glock fan. I'm living proof.

WELL GUESS WHAT????!!!!! I finally got time to try it. NOTHING!!! Light primer strikes still. So the wife made the comment that maybe it was something I was doing in with my reloads So I got a box of Remington HD Ultimate Home Defense. I pulled a bullet with a kinetic hammer and tried it. It did fire but it was a very light dimple in the primer. Here's a resized case I primed. It did not fire the primer: Here's the factory case that did fire: Ohh and look at this glorious pile of Shˆt from remington. I've NEVER seen a bullet come apart from a kinetic hammer.

Bath towels are your friend. When I'm breaking down a gun, especially a complicated one, do it in a towel large enough you can lap the thing over you work as you are releasing springs. The gun BTW looks a hundred times better. Them wood grips should put it at around a thousand times better.

I've had that problem with mil-surp .223/5,56 brass. There's a short list on the wall of my shop of head stamps I toss into the scrap bucket. Would these be Lee dies? The one thing I hate about Lee dies is that cannot replace the decapping pin unless you replace the entire expander and all.

Between Obama scaring everyone and putting 6ft of dirt on ole Bill *spit* Ruger as a company has really shifted gears and dropped the hammer. I'm proud of them in spite of some of their faults.
