  1. On a positive note, they look good David. Seems easier to navigate through. Everyone being comfortable with a slEazBay set up will feel right at home. ...no offense with the Ebay comparison. Other than format, there's obviously no comparison.
  2. Not necessarily unless you wanna stay away from town all together. This crap happens in decent neighborhoods. No one wants to think about having to do it, but let a few of these punks get some comeuppance and they might change their minds.
  3. Not poking at you specifically Scott, but why do so many think survivalists are saving something? Perpetuating our species or whatever. Pppfftt. I just wanna be around to watch when payment is due.
  4. Possum based BBQ?
  5. I work at home so I'm on and off the computer all day. Probably a dozen times a day or more.
  6. I may get beat to death by a bunch of teens the next time I go to wally world. Who knows. I'll bet you one or two of them get holes in their torso as a reward for their efforts.
  7. Mike beat me to it. I'll live vicariously through his sarcasm.
  8. Wasn't there a thread a long time ago about "What's in your Pockets" or something? Search turned up nothing, but the search hasn't been working well for me lately. It gets locked up easy. Just curious, it seems this is heading the same way.
  9. G19 @ 3 o'clock in a Glaco Fletch High Ride. 124g +P+ Winchester Ranger Spyderco Endura 4 When I leave home I also carry a spare mag and a surefire in a Galco MFP.
  10. Garufa is right, plus the Mosin operates on a magazine interrupter that would have to be removed an the receiver would have to be machined open.
  11. I will say the DPMS is okay for a LOT of people. BECAUSE, a LOT of people don't shoot their rifle. BY "don't shoot" I mean less than a 1K or so a year. For many of us...well...I'd pitch mine in the river if I couldn't shoot any more than that. I'd say the DPMS would hang in there quite well for a few thousand. Past the five K mark I dunno. I put better than 5k down a Spikes upper the first year I had it. It's 4 years old not and will still lay them in there.
  12. I get denied all the time. I see a gun I want, I open up my wallet.......denied.
  13. Judging by your name I would have figured you drove the same thing I do!
  14. Tannerite requires a certain amount of energy to detonate. Something the 380 is sorely lacking. I take it you had fun though?:-)
  15. Cry now or cry later. DD, Colt or even a S&W M&P. Nothing feels worse than buyers remorse once you come to realization.
  16. Well that's what ya get for mixing brandy, schnapps, moonshine and green tea together!

    S&W Model 59

Nice. We'll expect a range report with more photos on our desk first thing monday morning.
  18. Long Island Iced Tea is an excellent pain reliever. It will also help those struggling with any mental issues rub that right out. Effects are short term and may cause dependency.
  19. Ohh BTW, I just tumbled some 165g .30 cal AP bullets to get the crud off before I loaded them. I can put them in the chuck of my lathe, give 'em a little spin and touch a black sharpie to the end....GOOD AS NEW!
  20. Well, if that ain't some fancy thinking!! I thought about building one or two for possible POW's. Remember the guy from The Walking Dead that caused so much trouble. Well, if they'd chained his ars to a treadmill driving a permanent magnet alternator feeding deep cycle trolling motor batteries they coulda had some lights and a cold beer after a day of killin' zombies!
  21. If Magiccarpetrides doesn't respond, send him a PM. He knows his stuff on the matter. *Humph* And people wonder why I prefer Toyota over anything american made. That's ridiculous. You're not the only one. I have several customers that were primo pissed off with Chryslers lifetime drivetrain warranty. I have no first hand XP in the matter, but I trust my customers and more than one have said it's a friggin JOKE. Personally, I'm to the point that I believe American car companies are a joke. Sure they'll toss you a bone like the Raptor or the challenger but as a whole.....I'll take a Honda or Toyota. Sorry for your woes. Would that I could help!
  22. Does anyone reload for .38 S&W? I just traded for a pile of virgin unmarked [no headstamp] Starline brass. I'm working on coming up with a 200g mold so I can duplicate the old British 380/200 MkI revolver loads. I suppose you know you've gone off the casting/reloading deep end when you start loading for calibers like this......I don't even OWN a .38S&W revolver! I'm having me an Enfield revolver someday though. Won't it be nice when I have some ammo waiting for it?
  23. Not that one paw, it makes me cry!
  24. That's the one Glock I would never own. Now if [and they never will] they wanted JMB's REAL brainchild to copy, they'd copy the Hi-Power; His true masterpiece.
  25. The cast boolits that David [DLM] sells at the gunshow are hard to beat as well. Can't remember the maker, but I've tried a few with good results.
