  1. Why am I not surprised. I feel stupid for not asking.
  2. Never ordered from them. That's cheap enough though.
  3. They're right it doesn't matter in TN, BUT Magpul does make a 20 round magazine that might make the rifle lighter and handier for long hikes.
  4. ppffft, .40 Short & Weak. What a loser. J/K
  5. Anyone know a good source for 5.56 stripper clips? A decent amount mind you, not 50 at a time on slEezeBay. I need a couple hundred at least.
  6. Camino extraction is the sole responsibility of the recipient.
  7. Classy! Different too, I like!!!
  8. Keep us apprised of the testes results. Jeez brother, you can't get a break can ya? Hang in there. I'm hoping in the next few decades they will have reverse engineered enough alien technology to transfer the sum of one's conscious to a synthetic host apparatus. If they do, Caster is going cyborg.
  9. I'll trade you a lighted Strohs sign (light is busted) and a '77 El-Camino no motor/trans, no doors or wheels. Sitting on concrete blocks in waist high grass and blackberry thorns.
  10. I still own one and have been on my head to get a 45 acp in a revolver. I have a few pieces of auto rim brass on the shelf of my shop that has me hypnotized. Great cartridge. Just not for me in an autoloader.
  11. I carried a 45 for many years, all the while, laboring under the delusion that I loved it. Truth was, I couldn't hit squat with it. I got into 9x19 and I tear one ragged hole. Again, the truth: I carried the 45 cuz that's what the guys I ran with said was the best. They were wrong. Maybe it WAS best for them. Not for me. You can't get any more vanilla than a Glock in 9x19 and I don't care. It's accurate, dependable, comfortable and cheap. Beyond that, I don't give two wags or a rats ars what someone else thinks.
  12. Ridiculous huh? Where can a fella get a new copy of his start up disk. Mine got damaged and the Mac won't read it now. I'll re-do the whole machine back to factory.
  13. Nope, no extensions. It's blank.
  14. Security reasons? I don't worry about it too much. I had a guy steal my identity once. After going through all my personal information he sent me an apology letter and twenty bucks.
  15. Nope. Now I have to type in all my passwords again!
  16. People do this in all aspects of life. It's an insatiable need to fit in and be accepted by their peers. Sometimes I wonder if I don't enjoy some of the things I do for the fact that not many, if any, are doing it. I'm likewise not ashamed to admit I derive great satisfaction from being addressed with comments to the effect of "Why in the world would want to do something like that?"
  17. No Cap, I don't. Suppose I could set one up if it would do some good??
  18. Well, even if Taurus isn't as bad as some say, why fly a wing seat in coach when you can get in first class for a few more bucks?
  19. I can still use photobucket IMG tagged addresses. Here's what's in my right click menu. There's always been an option to copy image address. Not anymore.
  20. Hey guys, lemme hi-jack the thread a minute and ask a iMac Q. For the longest time, if I wanted post a pic I found on the web, here on TGO, all I had do was right click and copy image address. Then I could could either click the add image in the tool bar and paste the addy, or I could manually add IMG tags. UNLESS of course it was protected. Well, for some odd reason not too long ago, the option under my right click menu is gone. I mean it's just not there. You can't copy the web address because that just links to the web page. I need to have the IMAGE address. I've restarted the machine and I even backed up all my data with the intention of reformatting the whole computer, but alas, my start up disk for OSX 10.5.8 got scratched really bad and I can't buff it out enough for the computer to read it. Any thoughts?
  21. No, no, nothing has changed. You had right to begin with. I got very lucky.
  22. I gotta argue with you there brother. For all my bitchin about them, they turned my last repair around in just a few days. Not weeks, days.
  23. I've had a pt145 since they came out. Over a decade of good service. They're still mediocre at best. Their products are hit or miss. They're really good or really bad. Also, a warranty isn't really that impressive. A good gun should never need one. Orbendorf never offed a warranty on a '98 Mauser.....and they never needed one. Taurus may be a good gun, but how many returns do they get? I bet it's a lot more than Glock, Xd's or M&P's get.
