  1. We need a reloading social group and use it for tutorials.
  2. I think chemotherapy causes cancer in Kalifornia.
  3. I read somewhere that California causes cancer.
  4. BigK, Did you read my thread on getting started casting?
  5. Here, this'll save time. Read this first post and stick to it. I PROMISE, most people are using WAY too much. http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=67654 Also BigK, the size of the bullet is key. Proper fit is paramount. What some folks can't accept either....there's little to no chance you'll ever get the bullet so big as to cause major worries. It just won't chamber. Do you know I shoot a .311 bullet in my .308? ZERO leading and I'm hitting 1950-2000 fps.
  6. As Dolomite said about the smoke...If you're using Lee Liquid Alox and getting smoke you are using entirely too much. That stuff is really too much to use straight from the bottle anyway. I need to start a thread on 'how-to' make 45/45/10.
  7. R_Bert is right. Learn to identify sassafras trees and keep a pack shovel handy. In scouts we used to take pieces of the root taking care not to intentionally kill the tree. Carefully putting the dirt back afterward.
  8. I have one every time the wife goes shopping.
  9. If I had to buy a 2013 Ford I'd probably get a Toyota.
  10. Me too. Wanna drive the folks at Best Buy crazy? Go to get a phone and demand one that doesn't have any features. Not even text. I'm 34 and I ask them for whatever is popular with senior citizens. "bbbbut this new smart turd can......" Nope, i just need to send calls and receive calls. Nothing else. It's fun watching them try to understand why no one wants their flavor of koolaid.
  11. How did we ever survive as a people without these wonderful toys?
  12. Dozier KS-3 and KM-1.
  13. I doubt David will come up on a Google search. Click the link in my signature and send him a PM.
  14. Not to be nosy, but to what end? To inventory a collection? I can't see the good outweighing the potential for bad on that. Maybe I need to loosen the tension on my aluminum foil hat.
  15. Haves and have nots. I'll bet you my hat most of the haves will spend all they have to keep the have nots from getting it for free. The ones I know would.....in heartbeat. They'd rather burn it. They'll happily pay for security too. Loyalty goes to the highest bidder which is another reason the ghetto trash will lose. As one person who is rather well off told me, "I'd rather GIVE my food to a man and watch him shoot a looter than have it taken from me. At least I'd get something for my money"
  16. That could work. Also, a "Devil May Care" type soul could also lathe turn some hard bronze or even mild steel bullets in 45 caliber, I'd say .453-.454 and shoot a whole bunch of them. The law states it has to be a rifled barrel, there's no law I am aware of that states you must replace a barrel once it's worn out. Boring the barrel would fall under the category of modification, but accelerated wear from uncouth reloading practices isn't a crime.
  17. Refer to post #5
  18. I hope you get better results. Ever Pro-Mag product I have tried = Ya get what ya pay fer. Spend that $$$ on a Pmag and be happy when DON'T have any feed issues.
  19. How does the Vicker's compare to the Lone Wolf extended slide release? I bought a L/W and spent some time with some files and a polishing wheel. Removed the sharp edges and shortened it just a hair so it would stop poking the fire out of my waist. It works GREAT. A certain improvement over stock. I check all the magazines I buy for my G19 many many times. Any that even HINT like they might not fall free get a Yellow "R" on them for range use only. Out of a few dozen, I've only got two so far.
  20. Tell me, what in the world are you people doing? Cast ≠dirty. Improperly loaded cast = dirty. I have a certain load of 9x19 that is nasty as all get out. Problem lies in the lube and the manner in which it was applied as it relates to a new barrel that this load was not intended for. On the other hand, I have a load I specifically worked up for this particular barrel [aftermarket Glock] and I can shoot all day with little to no crud, and zero lead. ...oh cråp, I'm lecturing again.....sorry.
  21. Which ever way you do it; Do it and do it and do it and do it. Do one thing and do it well. Well, not speedily. Speed isn't fast, smooth is fast. No wasted movements, and repeat the same movement with robotic precision.
  22. What the heck was he supposed to do, take it home and keep it? Yep, law suit and an early retirement.
  23. I'll give you scientology comment but you take the Mac comment back or the next one is for Trayvon Jobs :bowrofl:
  24. Break out the aluminum foil fellas but do you ever get the feeling that things like this are used as social wedges? You take meaningless issues such as this, Yes meaningless because either way you feel, the other side of it means diddly squat in the day to day goings on of your life. You take a meaningless issue such as this, hyper inflate it and slap it in the mainstream media. By doing this you ensure that the greatest power in this country stays divided. It's easy and costs little to implement. The worst thing for the Amerikan regime would be a unified working class. If the people who actually work for a living and keep this country afloat were to set aside petty differences and unite for one cause, there'd be a lot of new holes in cemeteries across the country, and a lot of empty blood soaked seats in judicial builds too. Its really smart work actually.
