Well, what'd I tell you about telling the woman, if you want it, go buy it and leave me be?? She bought her Christmas present so to speak. A 65 inch Samsung to replace the (evidently inadequate) 55 inch we had. My lazy boy sits only 36 inches away from it. Now I KNOW I'll never be a movie theater victim. Why would I bother going???

I hear you Lager, I was going to make my next suppressor purchase there for the sheer convenience of being so close. As it is, I'll go right back to one of our vendor sponsors here (where I bought my first one). Worth the extra couple of miles.

Pending Gun EO Chatter, Update See Post #114
Caster replied to runco's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
How on earth would they even begin to enforce it? What a joke. -
No body wants a salesman crawling on you like a seed tick but as I said, when staff outnumbers customers, waiting....even for a minute is unacceptable.
-
The wife stopped by today. She was gonna pick something I been after, waiting....waiting....waiting, she finally asked the guy behind the counter if this is where you check out. He said I'll be right with you. He WAS with another customer after all. The other customer was 'shopping' and we all know that takes time because men in gun shop are ten times worse than a woman in a show store. The customer was nice and said, I'm in no hurry, gesturing that he should ring up what she was buying, it would only take a second anyway. Well, he didn't and she waited, and waited. NOT the only guy behind the counter mind you. Finally an older guy made his way across the shop and took care of her. Maybe I'm making more out of it than I should but it should NOT take 20+++ minutes to buy anything that requires no paperwork. Especially with multiple employees and more than one cash register. Here's a bit of business advice for everyone, Paying customers should never wait in a line that doesn't exist. If you're running a business, you're there to make money, not have a social gathering. If you currently have more employees than customers on the floor, THERE IS NO WAITING IN LINE.

The DSA FAL that's currently in the classifieds here would serve you well. You wouldn't be disappointed at all.

That is the worst impression of an asian accent I ever heard......by asian no less.

I'll be the one Ahole who won't ever suggest the m1a. Too ammo picky and dang difficult/expensive when things go bad. The AR10 is by far the best choice although I must admit, not the choice I made. I bought an FNAR (competition) and like it so far.

Colion Noir makes an awesome statement
Caster replied to tercel89's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Point? Born in 1992, I would say many members here have socks older than that. I guess I shouldn't be surprised though. Whory little thing prancing about in her drawers, people are gonna look. Her parents must be so proud. Land of the free and home of the depraved. -
Why is hollow point ammo more expensive than FMJ?
Caster replied to jgradyc's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
Because people will pay it. -

While you're trying to "enjoy" that; Try remembering most of us are old enough to be her father or grandfather. -
 No looking down on anyone who enjoys it, and as I hinted to, if there were children here it'd be a different story altogether. It's the obligation man has beat into one another that makes it crazy to me. Like you're somehow subhuman if you don't hyperextend yourself financially to participate. That mostly comes from commercial entities. Much like Valentines day...the most useless of all the obligation holidays. I don't need a greeting card company to tell me how and when to express my love and gratitude to my wife. It's certainly NOT a scrooge-like cheapskate {me}. The wife just asked if I would like to buy a new TV. She wants something bigger than our 55". I told her if we got the money, go buy it, what do I care if that's what'll make you happy that's what i want. I lament the days past [days pre-Caster] where good friends, good food and good times were all the season had to offer.

I hope Sarah Silverman gets hit by a bus.

32 acp is a semi rimmed case and will fire. Don't expect to win an bullseye competitions with it though.

We just gave up Christmas altogether. We had a talk a couple years ago. The whole paradigm of gift exchange is stupid. If there were children here, then yeah, that makes for some fun but adults? No. Why buy crap that MIGHT be what they want? Basically, me and wife are like this; If you want something & we can afford it, go buy it. Don't aggrevate me at the end of the year and expect me to know that's what you want. I make a casual offer to go to town and save her he drive, if there's something she wants, I'm happy to fetch it. As it is, FedEx does a good job. Birthdays are much the same. None of you may care to acknowledge or accept the fact, but you're really only waiting to see who dies first. Most friends and family spend roughly the same amount on one another. So you spend a hundred bucks on your brother for his birthday, he spends a hundred on yours, you're essentially trading the same hundred back and forth till one of you dies leaving the other the beneficiary. Madness. Occasionally we will buy one another things as a surprise gift but the feeling of obligation on set dates? No.

It's hot glue. It never rally GLUES anything. It'll peel right off. More effort required in some places than others.

Similar things have been done with hot glue. You can actually cast with a mold and a hot glue gun but it's messy.

Who are we as Americans & Responsibility to our Rights

I'd like to think they don't count either. Their opinions certainly don't count. Sadly their bullets do count. -

Ohh, you're an infidel Dave. You've no doubt accepted Judeo-Christian values and as such are their enemy. ...I still like you though. :usa: -

That's a shame. Sad really. Why kill the gator? What'd he do wrong? He wa just doing his part to keep his state safe. -
Whatever I get, the prerequisite is that it have enough azz to back up its bark. That was one thing my Pitt was never lacking. I really like the Malinois breed, although smaller and leaner than my Pitt was, they make up for it in lighting speed. Check this one out @ 3 minutes in, he almost clears a compact sedan. LOL! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1q85DqtZmCE

For alcohol, go for Everclear or Golden Grain. 190 proof. Much more versitile. You can always cut it to make it more drinkable.

I have a couple of friends in New Zealand. You can buy a suppressor there as easy as buying a loaf and bread and a gallon of milk. While there's certainly no RULE in place, most shooing ranges really look down their nose at you for NOT having one on any rifle that makes a lot of noise.
-
You are right about that. It would be good for the whole gun industry. Imagine all the AR manufacturers offering their rifle WITH a suppressor. Factory tuned rifles from the top shelf companies. Integrally suppressed hunting rifles. The industry would explode. Not just for the tactical crowd either. Imagine if Weatherby offered a factory suppressed .300 Weatherby mag hunting rifle? There are a lot of hardcore hunters who would LOVE that. The guys in marketing at every major gun manufacturer should be slobbering at the mouth for this.
