Virginia to end reciprocity with 25 states
Caster replied to Chucktshoes's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
When one whittles a peice of wood, they don't cut all the material off in one chunk, nor do they cut even large peices; but instead small thin slices. Liberty can't be cut out at once but small parts, over time, peice by peice until we are left with.....nothing. Doesn't seem like squat to us in TN. -
I have to wonder though, why I'm really surprised. Hollywood is nothing but tree huggin left wing hippy scum. It is the way of the liberal filth to rewrite history to suit themselves. It's that way in our government, public schools and even many churches. Why not our fiction.

Least happy and most miserable cities in Tennessee
Caster replied to TSprint1's topic in General Chat
I can totally see Crossville. Had family there and spent a fair bit of time there in my youth. That place is, in a word, wicked. There's a chill in the air that has nothing to do with the mountain. Certain parts of the place just feels wrong, as if something evil sets it's will against you. Can't explain it much better without sounding like a bigger dork but it's true. The whole town feels like theres a secret outsiders are not, nor ever will be privy to. IT's in that town I first learned the true meaning of "the heeby jeebies" -
Can't tell you how many times I've thought my next tattoo should have 'Est Sularis Oth Mithas' incorporated in it somehow.

Really? You just got a +5 modifier to you're next "How cool am I" skill check.

Yeah, canon is dead and so is the whole franchise for my part. I was never as big a fan of ANY of the 6 films as I was of the legend and lore written in ink. It expounds on everything the films are, were and were yet to be. As is every book ever written, much better than the big screen [except to the small minded]. I suppose the fact that 30+ years of written works numbering in the hundreds is completely lost on the masses. BUT, hey, they made millions of $$$ and that's all they care about. Seems to me, the movie would have been just as good from the eyes of the masses and made JUST as much money [more counting my ticket LOL!] if they had adhered to the already set story line. There was still SO much left unexplored that they could have worked with and put their creative efforts. Lucas was quite sharp in that all published works needed his approval before release and absolutely could NOT collide with his works. Also, most all written work leaves a healthy space between their stories and the movies [By Lucas's own demand] so as not to intrude on future works.

Poor Steve. The guy probably can't show his face in public. People have taken their own life for less. I feel bad for him. At least he's still got Wheel of Jeopardy to fall back on.

I hope the writers choke on their lattes. I was seriously considering letting go and watching it, but I think now I'll double down on my recent rants and say I'd rather do a year in jail than watch this peice of :poop: This Kylo Ren chump is NOT Ben Solo. Never was a Ben Solo. Three Solo children there were, Jacen, Jaina & Anakin. Luke and Mara had a son named Ben. Jacen Solo Is the next Dark Lord. Yall will undoubtedly laugh just like my wife and tell me its just a movie, get over it. Fine, whatever. Just piss on 30 years of fictional literature and more than 3/4 of my life spent reading and LOVING it. What's next? I know! Frodo never took the One Ring to Mt. Doom, it was Meridoc Brandybuck and Frodo never existed!?!? Maybe Rastlin & Caramon Majere were never brothers but actually gay lovers and Bruce Dickinson and Arianne Grande sang a duet at their wedding. Then next Count Mondego can be the one to find the treasure of Sparta and we can start rewriting all fiction just for the hell of it. I'd sooner forgive Judas Iscariot for betraying Christ than forgive these people. At least Judas had a job to do that had to be done. Keep laughing, meanwhile a massive part of my childhood/teenage years has been completely and utterly corrupted and FUBAR.

I have a few boxes of shorts that are Kleanbore. I also have several boxes of large rifle primers that say Kleanbore. It's old but they all still go bang.
-
Nice Photoshop work. Whoever did it needed to scoot the trigger forward though. There's not enough room there for a double action pull.
-
Steel guide rod Stipple and undercut the trigger guard if it suits you Extended mag release, round the edges first! Nothing inside needs changing other than the plastic guide rod. The number one reason Glocks fail is cause some gumby felt the need to change a bunch of things.
-
I'd be pissed too. You buy Glock for reliability. If you wanted something that can be ammo picky and unreliable you could get some fancy 1911 and then you'd at least have something that's aesthetically pleasing to look at while you're clearing malfunctions. LOL!

Monkeys make junk. That's Century Arms.

Hold a cig lighter close to your scale. Preferably in the absence of any powder containers but that's up to you. Watch the flame. If it dances....well, this ain't rocket surgery. I use an old Pacific beam scale. It's never failed me.

Their prices ARE excellent, even on non firearm merchandise which is a rarity in gun shops. Prices, atmosphere and selection are very very nice indeed.
-
The biggest problems you and the wee lad will have with the Henry 357 will be who's turn it is to shoot and who's hogging all the ammo. Get him a nice wall rack too. A Henry collection would be a thing of pride.

You quoted so I know you read what I posted. ...but I'll repeat it for emphasis. If you have more employees on the floor than customers (which was the case) there's NO reason people should have to wait. Every employee on the floor should have the ability to ring up merchandise I would think. Could be wrong. If you don't feel this thread has the forums best interest in mind, you certainly have the tools, and talent to remedy that, just press delete. Not like you need permission to do so, nor would you get any complaints from me.

What modern firearms do you think will be collectable in the future?
Caster replied to Erik88's topic in General Chat
Remington Etronix High quality peice of crap that was a major fail. -
Motivated by this thread I asked the other trustee on my NFA trust about this very thing. She laughed and just shook her head.

It's subjective, entirely up to the person buying. Since the fall of Harrington Richardson, their Handi rifle barrels have doubled or tripled and in some instances, quadrupled in price. But, to many, they are worthless. To me, any 1911 and most revolvers are worthless now, so they'll be worthless in the future. The next guy comes along and disagrees vehemently. So, if youre buying for an investment, just buy what you like. That way if you get stuck with it...meh, oh well. -
So I can send my pistol back and get $200 bucks for it....when I paid over twice that (many years ago). Uhhhh, NO. That's BS. :bs: :bs: :bs: :bs: :bs: :bs: :bs: :bs:

I'd be in prison if it happened to me. It WOULDNT happen to me cause I would never take a dog to a park BUT if I did and this happened, I would dead or in prison. Dead means he shot better than me, prison means he didn't. My dog is no longer with me, but I would gladly and without remorse shoot any swinging dick that tried to hurt him.
