  1. Nice work with a ball endmill. I tried something similar once. Some of you guys obviously know how to do it right. Some of us Don't.
  2. Now you get on a first name basis with the customer service reps at AIM, J&G sales and about a dozen other places!!!
  3. Love to, momma says I can't play that far from home though
  4. I would hold out for a 19.
  5. Welcome home Junior Supafly!!!
  6. If you're gonna do it, swing for the fence, go for it. Zeiss Hensoldt 6-24x72 w/ a 34mm tube & illuminated mil-dot reticle.

    Think it's worth it?

    Do it.
  8. Yup, exactly. Pimped out rifles only prove how much you have left to learn.
  9. Good point, might be a good idea to not talk about this and have a mod delete the thread until you have it in hand. If he gets on TGO and reads this, he's gonna KNOW it's him we're talking about.
  10. Yep, you owe it to all your buddies here to let us know who it is after you have the suppressor in your hand. I'm planning on getting one this christmas and DO NOT want to buy from whoever you bought from.
  11. Heck yeah! I'm contagious
  12. Hit the truck stops that handle tractor trailer tires. Those weights are huge.
  13. When all's said and done and it's in your hand, I'd give him an earful. Name the place too, that's not something a reputable place of business would do. You have a right ot be PO.
  14. Looks good!

    8K "reptile" gun

For the kind of revenue they represent themselves as generating, I could start up my own business and run them and several more small gun companies out of business. Personally I have come to believe that this show was never created with entertainment in mind. I think it's leftist propaganda to paint gunowners as a bunch of inbred retards.
  16. That's the only way I trim, is with a Lee trimmer. Heck with a bunch of measuring and setting and nonsense.
  17. It's been so long I've 'bout forgot the class I took. Best I remember we had enough stations for each student [wasn't but 5 or 6 of us]. We shot 12/24/12 and I think we were all done in about 20 minutes. I remember we stood around talking and BS'ing more than anything.
  18. Awesome! This is true too, if you're just trying to get away from that caliber....It's worth a reconsideration. It's actually a pretty awesome cartridge. Before the .357 magnum was introduced it was the highest velocity pistol cartridge made.
  19. Oh come one, that's a stretch brother. What need of spell check does a person have if they paid attention in school and actually learned how to spell. Likewise, name one kid who can actually write a PROPER letter nowadays. I know I can't remember proper form.

    300 blackout

Well, depends on your style of hunting. I don't hunt anymore either but I let anything past 75-100 yards or so walk. Much prefer to get closer. It takes more skill, or in my case dumb luck, to get in close.
  21. ...and there's the reason I don't shoot cap and ball. God bless the makers of nitrocellulose and mercury free primers!
  22. Well, they just can't hang with the cool kids.
  23. Closer than you think if I can find an original stock for it, or a reproduction mad before 1999 [or something like that] ATF gives exemption for certain antique handguns that were made to accept a stock. This would be a pretty tough little carbine with the 20 rnd magazine I have for it.
  24. Tracking down the proper fire extinguisher nozzle to make the muzzle device out of is nigh impossible. I used to have a list of all the original components need to make a proper replica of a Blastech DL-44 Heavy Blaster.
  25. Wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have a whole country FULL of these kind of pansies.
