The problem with this is, if you got enough people on board you'd essentially be forcing the other side's hand. By other side I don't mean the hippie left. I mean the career politicians and the elite wealthy. You know, the people actually run this country. In forcing their hand, they will take drastic measure to keep ahold of the power they have seized over the years.

I have a couple cases of those real thick maxi pad things in my bug out camper. Multi purpose. Make great bandages and just about any woman without them would probably be glad to wash my dirty clothes in the river in exchange for a handful of them. Barter system you know.

The ONLY exception to flat/round nose bullets are going to be Hornady's flex tip leverevolution. Even with the plastic point of a ballistic tip, it ain't worth the gamble plus, you'd deform the plastic tip most likely rendering it's benefit moot. Wished you lived closer man, I cast a Lyman 358429 that drops around 160g. It's a keith style bullet and it would probably run well in that little rifle. They work better in .38 special though. You get length issues with .357.
