  1. Dolomite is right [as usual] Do this professionally no matter how much you'd like to bludgeon the jerk into a coma. Unless of course he wants to get physical...then you show him how much you love that Old Man
  2. New fence needs to be built and your dad needs to go fall in love at the shelter with a rescue pitt. Hit the supermarket and buy up "reduced for quick sale" meats and the affection will be returned by way of fearless devotion. Works for me. No one around here will step foot in my yard.
  3. I disagree. Is the money you save really worth the pisspoor accuracy 99% of that russian swill provides? The number one reason the AK is NOT accurate is the cråp ammo they get fed. Do you really thing they can build .223/5,56 any better? I mean if all you want to do is make noise and blast rocks, sure, but that's like using a scalpel to butcher meat.
  4. Suspend it from a pair of chains and it'll last longer. If the target gives, it'll absorb less punishment.
  5. I'll second that and add there's folks here I don't even need to read the accusations to know they're bogus. Dolomite's one of them.
  6. We have two. One of them belches, farts and throws the occasional swear word. Can't figure where she picked it up.
  7. Okay, enough with the postulating. I am changing the word. The new word is "diphthong". 1: a gliding monosyllabic speech sound (as the vowel combination at the end of toy) that starts at or near the articulatory position for one vowel and moves to or toward the position of another
  8. Click the link in my signature. Send the man a PM and see what he's got.
  9. Contact DLM. He sells the stuff cheaper than anyone.
  10. *edit* I ain't saying that, thought better of it.
  11. In Babylonian mathematics, does 2+2 still equal 4?
  12. Please hold all questions until the end of the presentation.
  13. If you feel wronged, by all means make your case but try to have some structure and cohesion to what you write. Call me a grammar nazi if you like, but if you're going to postulate an argument at least make it easier to understand what you're talking about. The above paragraph sounds like an excerpt from a typical facebook page or twitter reply.
  14. The little beavertail thingamajig is actually pretty darn nice. Really makes it fit my hand better. Gotta get one for my other Glock now.
  15. I shot it today. It was boring. I pulled the trigger, it went bang, cycled the next one and hit what I pointed at. *Yawn* It did this 150 times in a row. I finally got bored and put back in the range bag. I did manage to chrono the load I use in my Glocks today. 147g JHP averaging 960 FPS. Cycles flawlessly and I was hitting clays at 25 yards. Managed to hit a couple at 50 yards.
  16. Next time I will try some 45g FMJ, 50g Zmax, and some 50g HP's
  17. Load 2 *RP case *CCI SR primer *SMP-842 - 20g hand weighed *OAL - 2.275 *73g Hornady Amax 30 shot string Highest velocity - 2682 FPS Lowest velocity - 2592 FPS Average for all shots was 2645 fps Accuracy was nothing short of bad aßß!!! All shots touching inside a 2 inch circle at 50 yards. I'm loving this load!!!!!!!!!!!! It was very consistent by my lowly standards.
  18. Okay, a little more professional about it this morning. Rifle-CZ527, 24 inch barrel, 1/9 twist. Load 1 *Rp case *CCI SR primer *SPM-842 - 24g hand weighed *OAL - 2.235 *50g Midway dogtown soft point Fired a 30 shot string and recorded each shot. Highest velocity - 3336 FPS Lowest velocity - 3158 fps Average velocity was - 3270 fps ALL 30 shots were inside a 2 inch circle at 50 yards with only 5 fliers [still inside the 2 inch circle mind you] so accuracy was VERY nice.
  19. It's getting an early AM workout tomorrow. I'll put a few hundred through it and being as its a Glock, I might not even clean it.
  20. Yep.
  21. Add TLRMade to the list of good folks here. I bought a Glock from him a couple of hours ago. We talked for 20 minutes or so. The deal only took about 3.
  22. Black/nickel boron for everyday carry, Now I have OD green for evening wear. Just picked it up an hour ago. Sunday morning, hittin' the range!
  23. If it were mine, I'd get it going with whatever parts need replacing or just have a competent smith take care of that. If your chosen gunsmith can't work on a 94 Winchester with confidence, he's not much of a smith. Then I'd feed it a steady diet of nice and easy cast loads. Accuracy will be all you could ever want and more, properly placed it'll kill anything around these parts and the lower pressures and absence of copper condoms will ensure the longevity of the rifle.
  24. Thinking about this for a while this morning, I figure, mehh, it's just Atlanta. Them walkers got a lot of rednecks to get through before they get up as far as me so I'll sit tight and let my apathy keep me alive for a while longer. I'd probably break out the Stihl and drop a few trees around the neighborhood to make some decent barriers. Keep my garden watered and set out some extra rain barrels Start a new rationed diet and triple check my potable water sources. As far as the gun I would choose, here at home I'd probably keep carrying me G19 but I'd take up carrying a satchel with a dozen magazines in it though. You know, enough to let me retreat back to my AR.
