  1. Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child but the rod of correction will drive it far from him. Even the atheist would have to agree that Solomon was right on this one.
  2. Go buy some soap on a rope and wear it like a necklace. They will keep their distance. It's hippie kryptonite.
  3. I'm using a Lee Classic cast and 20K wouldn't knock a dent in what I've loaded on it. Lee only makes two things of dubious quality. Powder measure and a scale. Everything else is just as good if not better. Unless you need some micrometer benchrest whatevers, Lee has them beat. I've tried most every brand out there and the only dies you'll find me using are Lee.
  4. Yup. Go over his head. Find out who he answers to and start complaining.
  5. $329,093 as of 4:40 today. Dang wish some little heathens would give me a hard time. I could use a little over a quarter million dollar myself.
  6. +1 for North Dakota Spud! They build the finest AK receivers in the business. Built several Yugo's back in the day. Harlan knows how to do it right.
  7. What else will you need? Well, a decent lead source, lead pot, ladle, mold, sizing die, a couple bottles of Lee liquid alox, lots of patience and attention to detail. If you can make friends with a tire store and get some free or really cheap wheel weights...DO IT. Follow the directions in my Lead Thread I made. Take your time and develop a good load and you can shoot for less than a hundred bucks per thousand.
  8. Thanks! I will have to ask David about that.
  9. Richard, where did you get your powder? I wonder if there's a difference in Western Cannon and St. Marks Powder? BTW, thank you for participating. Any information you share on this powder is VERY much appreciated.
  10. .......or pictures of the stitches. Kidding. Be safe!
  11. One would need to proceed with great caution. 73g bullet, and I was getting 2,600 FPS with only 20g of powder. BUT, I think it would do incredibly well. The consistent results Dolomite is getting is awesome. The accuracy I was getting @ 20g with the 73g Amax made me very happy. If you have a chronograph, you'll be just fine though. Try it!
  12. I've often wondered, and would love to see a vision of a future where the germans had tried a stunt like that with the Jews that now reside in modern day Israel. Half of Europe would still smell like burnt sauerkraut.
  13. THe powder IS just as he says. I know me a Dolomite are hooked!!!
  14. It's just one domino in a long string. Always use the proper components for the load.
  15. That was my first impression from the title.
  16. Yes, much love for mother Amerika!
  17. I'm perfectly happy with the idea that I will die of heart attack or shot by a government thug trying to take my steak and 'taters away from me.
  18. At least the girl is very young. Spend lots of love and good bit of money on her and it'll rub that out. I know it should feel wrong to be glad of someone's death, but it doesn't. I'm genuinely glad this guy is dead. Wish they'd round up a few more.
  19. I'd like to think so too. I have to wonder though, how is it that all the sissies are running the show. There hasn't been a man with a spine in office since the 80's.
  20. Okay, so the guy has a reason for his behavior. I said reason, not excuse. So he has a reason, his cheese slid off his cracker when he took some high voltage. Wellllll, ain't that what we build homes for? Nashville's got a few. Parthenon Pavilion comes to mind. Lock his butt up. Not prison, but a secured nut house where he can get his meds, maybe work assembling things in the work shop or make macaroni art.
  21. Yeah, a long time ago. The US started it's own castration surgery after the Civil war. We were prepped for the O.R. with F.D.R. We cut off the first one after WWII, the second one shortly after Reagan left office and with Clinton we started estrogen therapy to wash out any remaining testosterone in the system. We are now coming out of I.C.U. and dealing with the scars of having our balls chopped off. We are officially a wussified nation of politically correct, feel good nanny, sissy fairys.
  22. Kind of. To say the words "Hot loads" and ".40 S&W" in the same sentence is redundant. The .40 S&W is, in stock form, already near it's upper threshold. Adding a magnum primer will most definitely boost pressures. I don't where 4.9g of Unique is in relation to starting charge but I would probably start a grain below starting charge. Admittedly I am not that familiar with .40 but it can spike pressure wise, very easy. Just tread lightly.
  23. No birdcage?
  24. The small rifle primers will up the pressure by quite a bit not to mention be harder on your firing pin as they are a good bit harder. I'd go with the magnum pistol primer, reduce powder charge and work back up. Click the link in my signature, send David a PM and see if you can't get some from him. Last I knew, he had...uhh...PLENTY.
