  1. :panic: There's a kid in the Oreilly parking lot with a gun :panic: That's awesome. Future defender of lazy armchair warriors like me.
  2. The only difference between the muslim extremists and christian nuts is the fact that the stupid christians [much to the embarrassment of Jesus Christ] are nothing but cowardly couch commandos to fat and lazy to run anything but their mouth. The belief in a deity should give one a sense of security and peace but you will not find a group of people any more afraid and insecure than those who are deeply religious. Note I said religious. I point that out because religion and God often times have NOTHING to do with one another.
  3. Right cause we all know that'll stop them from doing it. If it wasn't prohibited, think of all records the ATF would have..oh wait
  4. When you really get honest with yourself, Was there really any doubt? This country is full of idiots. He'll be back. Matters will get worse. ...and then, they'll get even worse.
  5. Right, I'm just being a pain. People do this to Glocks all the time. From what I've seen it holds up really well. Easy enough to go back and touch up if need be.
  6. Storm's a brewing.
  7. So you wanna learn to prepare Salted Pork, Pickled Fish and Raw Villagers?
  8. What kind of concealed carry are you doing? Never seen a holster to fit an AR-15. It would take half a cow to make that one!
  9. I just sold a Savage model 10 PC and it LOVED the 168g Amax over WC846 [bLC-2] or AA 2520. Either of those three powders will get you great results. Hornady claims the Amax is insufficient for hunting. Don't believe that. They are absolutely devastating from a 308.
  10. Spice? Really? I didn't know Han was making runs from Kessel to Earth.
  11. Max case length = 1.368 Minimum = 1.348 So 1.358 would be a good trim length you think? MIdway is out of the Lee 300 BLK trim tool, but, being the impatient one I am. I had an extra .308 Win so I cut it down and made one. I cut it down to where it cuts brass right on at 1.358 OAL. I've got a few hundred to make now, should have them in the tumbler polishing tomorrow afternoon. If I only had the gun On a side note, I have a new [to me] mold that'll drop a 130g gas check boolit. Should kick butt in the little BLK.
  12. When you get it done, be sure to post some pictures so I can be reminded how broke I am.
  13. We got several sandbox veterans here on TGO. How hot do you think their service weapons were?
  14. You know, for Denny's the one here ain't half bad. It IS Denny's mind you, but it ain't bad.
  15. So it does NOT know specific internal geometry for a given case? Hmm, I can see why you say it's a place to start but not gospel.
  16. Right but being as the whisper and fireball are older cartridges I just figured they might have been considered in the algorithm. How much is this program anyway?
  17. \Look for 300 whisper and 300 fireball. If it has those, there's usable data there too.
  18. Really? Goody! I'm behind the pack here as it'll be later before I get to join the game, but I'm on my way. I am making brass though. I cut off 100 LC cases with a die grinder/cut off wheel this morning.
  19. Great pictures of a great guy.
  20. If you are brave or foolish enough to step off the beaten path of documented load data, the chronograph is the difference between finding gold and getting part of the receiver stuck in your forehead. The idea of reading brass for pressure signs is as much hocum as anything. You can be deep into dark territory and show NO signs of pressure. The difference there would be loading that on a january morning and shooting those loads out in the sun of a July afternoon.
  21. It ain't a thread hijack dude, we're talking 300 blackout. That's a relevant question. I don't have it handy but Accurate Arms has load data for .300 Whisper using AA#5 and a few other AA powders. That would be an excellent place to start. AA#5 is the bees knees anyway. One of best all around pistol powders out there.
  22. It's DC voltage. Electrocution not really possible. There is a fire hazard though.
  23. I picked up some 'Lil Gun from David just for the BLK. I had some H110 already.
