  1. That's fine for a Frost knife or a kitchen knife but that thing has carbide blades in it. It literally shaves metal off every time you use it. It will leave chatter marks that would ruin a good blade. I use one all the time for cheap crap knives. Never would I let it touch my Spyderco.
  2. MMmm, hmmm and what happens when the the city works dept. is run by minimum wage guys and your sewer blows out, there's a pot hole the size of a bomb crater, ect.
  3. My favorite knife sharpener is the guy at the gun show that wears the apron and does it for $5.
  4. Ya'll are looking at it all wrong. You don't have to be the fastest runner out there. You just have to run faster than the guy closest to you. If that means "Pullin' a Shane" to get out alive, well; Let your conscience be your guide.
  5. Right. I don't load magazines at the range. Load magazines at home in the workshop. Carry enough magazines to satiate your needs. When you truly believe you have enough magazines for any said gun, go buy three more.
  6. Why carry a wallet in the woods in the first place? Put your ID and any appropriate license in a ziplock bag and zip it up in a chest pocket or other zippered pocket. I would never carry my wallet in the woods.

    Irony Alert

Anyone else repulsed by the condition of that Krag? Poor thing. Smoothest bolt action ever built and someone treated it like
  8. I couldn't read the article. I clicked on the link and saw the picture. When I saw the Krag with stage 4 cancer I nearly lost it. How could someone let that rifle get that bad. Curse them, whoever they are.
  9. I have a bigger problem with putting things in that place where I keep things I don't want to lose. Bad part is, I can't remember where that special place is. If I ever find that place, I'm rich!
  10. Woulda been easier and cheaper to wait till you see 'em coming and toss out a hand full of roofing nails.
  11. Got my first rifle at 7. By time I was ten I was traipsing through the woods on my own with it. If he's earned your trust, I;d say he's good to go. No law that I know of would say otherwise.
  12. Huh? How is that right? Or am I just three sheets in the wind tonight? 27,000 [lbs of lead] multiplied times 7,000 [grains per pound] divided by 150g [per bullet ] equals 1,260,000 bullets.
  13. When I die, If I am found acceptable the gates of heaven will open up and the walls will look like that. You can keep your pathetic gold, that is beautiful to these eyes!
  14. Never heard that before. I've seen similar loaders made [by some talented machinists] at Knob Creek about 15 years ago. It's not a new concept. Business is cruel and ruthless. Whoever gets the patent filed first is the winner I guess.
  15. Funny you said Indian. I just bought a WFT trimmer made by Little Crow Gun Works
  16. I thought leather hung the moon for years. I had custom ones made, the last one was 1/4" thick. They all take a set with time. They swag down in the back. Plus I sweat so much in the summer they soak that up and stink! I've been wearing a Galco reenforced Instructors belt for a year now and it looks like t did when I bought it. It's tuff to get used to it's so stiff, but it is awesome.
  17. I really want one of their bench loaders.
  18. God bless the Tal family. Maglula is the best thing since sliced bread.

    "Glock Haters"

I hated Glocks for years. Then I actually shot one. Then I bought one. And another... ...and I found out how junky other designs are. Here's to me being wrong.
  20. That's really good for a mini 14.
  21. I gotta see proof or I ain't buyin it either.
  22. Idiot. Shooting steel plates with a rifle that close. Whats sad is, someone out there really thinks this is cool.
