Does anyone know anything about military surplus radios? The kind you used to see in Jeeps and such. I know a fella who has lots of that stuff. IF they are useful and not overly complicated I might try to see what he's take for some of it.

BUt if all you wanted was a personal device for preloaded media, I would think a small solar panel would suit you better. TO conserve water in a SHTF we should all be practicing a work/move at night rest sleep in the day M.O. You'd have it charging while you rest.

Oh. Yes, but the lead build up may be a problem. Most .22 suppressors are made to be disassembled and cleaned. Many larger suppressors are welded shut. Sorry, misunderstood.

Once you buy it and the ATF clears you to take possession of it, you can stick it on your nose if it makes you happy. There's no law that dictates what you can or can't use it on.
