  1. Makes me wish the squirrel would go berserk on washington.
  2. You shoulda been paying more attention to your charge bar.
  3. http://movies.yahoo.com/blogs/movie-talk/cloud-atlas-directors-reveal-more-just-back-story-165430475.html The MAN who directed the Matrix is now a WOMAN? What the hell is going on in this world? I mean, hey, he ain't hurtin' me or infringing on my rights to be a redneck but jeez. *Face..meet palm*
  4. You could but you get more mileage out of a 50lb bag of rice.
  5. If I wanted an older pistol polished and blued, who'd be the one to see around middle TN?
  6. If you are insinuating that I frequent Barfcom, well, that's just uncalled for in civilized conversation.
  7. THat's cuz all the cool kids are playing with .300BLK
  8. I never got into cleaning it out completely because I just don't see the need to. Cleaning out the works is easy, and I always wiped the stock off with acetone after shooting. Get it hot again, it bleeds a little, wipe again. Cleaning out the inletted parts of the stock makes no sense because you can't see it, it stops rust, so I just leave it be.
  9. I don't know about that but I am in total agreement with you about the M&P in .40. Thats an improvement over the 1911 AND the M9 for sure.
  10. That's what I was thinking. If we're going regressive here, let's bring the Garand back.
  11. Weld some large nuts to the four corners and make you a set of adjustable feet.
  12. A lot of professional trainers say otherwise. The reliability isn't what I question. I know they can be reliable. It's so heavy for what? 7 or 8 rounds? That's ridiculous. A M&P or a Glock can give you better than that in a lighter package. Personal feelings aside, every ounce matters to a guy who may be marching for days. Not only that, they are costly to make right. Modern materials have proven themselves time and time again. They have nothing else to prove as far as durability goes. It's much easier on John Q taxpayer to pay for injection molding that for machined parts. THis is an argument that can never be won. I guess I'm just to stupid to understand.
  13. A S&W M&P would have been a much better choice. I don't see the logic.

It works!!!!!!!!!! Me and the Mrs. put 300 rounds through it. 150 rounds of Wolf 100 rounds of my cast loads and 50 rounds of Federal Premium Tactical Bonded 124g HP. Zero problems. I did find out it does NOT like my 147g reloads. I think it's an OAL issue, but I'm not gonna try to solve it. No more than she will be shooting this gun, I'm gonna go buy several boxes of the Federal stuff. It likes it!!! She shot at 15Ft and had no trouble. Sights are great but this is not a very fun gun to shoot after about 100. Jeez that's a lot wallop in a little package. That's a 3" target BTW.
  15. HA! I just picked up it's older first cousin. 1920 Army Special. Great score. Americans [all humans for that matter] have forgotten how to make guns like these. It's true, they just don't make 'em like they used to.
  16. I've learned the hard way. 1/7 really sucks. I have some 50g soft points that will not hit ANYTHING at 100 yards. Literally, because the bullet will come apart. I have a 1/8 on another AR and it shoots everything. I have a 1/9 on a CZ bolt action and it will shoot anything.
  17. Hey punk, who you callin a geek? Dolomite's a good guy, you shouldn't talk about him like that. Seriously, yes, there is MONEY to be saved but if you're like some people who load to shoot and count your time, well, you'll never save a penny. I, on the other hand, shoot to load. I love to reload. Probably more than actually shooting the stuff. Therefore my time will never have a dollar value.

    Glock rusted!

It's a third gen. I don't think the nickel boron is the problem being as it was the inside of the chamber that rusted the most.
  19. No, you can't save money reloading. BUT you will get to shoot a LOT more.
  20. You'll never have a spare dime in your pocket again.
  21. YOu knoiw, even GLock haters have to give Glock credit for one thing. No other gun manufacturer has made stupid people suffer more than them. I love Glock!!!
  22. That's a mouthful in a very short sentence. If we fixed HALF the problems this country has we could go back to selling THompsons at the local hardware store with no paper work like in the pre NFA days.
  23. Chicken
  24. The ones in this neighbor hood make a lot of noise when they move about. Pretty good idea actually.
