Hey, I know I ain't that old compared to many around here, but I know exactly how I feel. A skill you need to learn while you're still fairly young. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. There's nothing pussy about saying "That's too heavy" Just because your body will do it, don't make it okay. My good buddy Dolomite could come in here and preach you a sermon I'm sure. It ain't no fun using meds to be able to function. Exercise daily, eat right and take care of that body. Your heart and your spine for SURE. You'll thank me in 20 years.

Ted Williams put his name on SO MUCH, it may be a while before it appreciates much. I had a box of 12g dove loads that were Ted Williams. I've got an old Weaver K4 steel body scope on my mother in law's .22 Henry that's a Ted Williams. I gave $50 for it and wouldn't take double my money back either. Love those old Weaver steelies.

Well, freedom loving patriots will hate this kinda talk but it works best here because it's NOT a democracy. It's a monarchy with delegated authority. Things get done quickly and there's not much grumbling from the villagers. I've been on a lot of forums and I've said it here several times. This place is clean and straight. Strict rules with more leniency than any respectable man needs.

I would. Those things are just too rare nowadays to start chopping on, don't matter how good the machine work is. It could be stripped down and and a really sharp carbide endmill will make the cut and look flawless, but I'm with ya, I'd rather get it running the way it was designed to run.

You know what the hardest part of all this is gonna be? Putting your stuff in it's place and zippin' your lip about it. I was just thinking of some of the best places around here for such a thing and I was like: "ooo that's a cool idea, I oughta post that!" THen I think, "What's wrong with you, are you stupid?"

Maybe toss in a vacuum sealed pack of cigars and half pint of Johnny Walker. Then put the lid on and spray the whole thing down with the above spray and slide it in a trash bag. The can will survive our lifetime buried in the dirt but it'd be a lot easier to open if it wasn't all crusty.

I've been using one I picked up from J&T at a gunshow for years now. Looks a lot like the DPMS but I didn't have any problem with flashhiders though.

Here I go plugging David again.....but he sells a cast bullet in white heavy cardboard boxes. On a whim i tried some 158g bevel base semi wadcutters. Lubed with a blue lube and very well made, they shot better than I would have thought. I never went past 1000 FPS with them but they shot great and were sized appropriately for the SP101 I was shooting. I have since shot them all but I shot quite a few in 38 special too.

I've drooled over several pairs of their flagship binoculars. The green rubber ones, they are awesome.

You'd have to sell three kidneys to pay for their rifle scopes. Their binocs are AWESOME though.

AND there it is! What do they care if I don't buy my next AR from them. I've bought three complete AR's in my life. Built the rest. Wonder how many AR's G&L sell in a given amount of time? I'm guessing more than 3.
