The whole reason zero tolerance policies were implemented was because the teachers and staff are too damn stupid to handle things on a case by case. They lack the collective intelligence to sit down and hear all the facts, then make a fair and honest judgment on the matter. In the future, look for zero tolerance policies for the rest of us. It's obvious that DA's and judges across the land are suffering from the same bassackward stupidity and sheer incompetence.

Lead Bullet reloads for my .30-30...A question
Caster replied to Jamie Jackson's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
A word on Unique. The pressurs are so low that it is fairly safe to do so etching that is usually a nono for hand loaders. Skip on up the scale toward a max load. Back off a grain or grain and a half. Reason: Unique is filthy at low pressures. When you get the pressur up to where accuracy usually hides, it will burn clean. Go ahead and try a few at a starting charge and see what I mean. Sooty cases. -
Lead Bullet reloads for my .30-30...A question
Caster replied to Jamie Jackson's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
The rifling is the limiting factor for I'm sorry to say. Ballard type rifling is EXCEPTIONALLY accurate but has trouble jiving with cast lead at higher pressures. It can be done, but theres gonna be some cussin and blood pressure spikes along the way. My best advice is stick with Unique and stay under 1,500 fps. If you want more go with a jacketed bullet or pick up a Win 94. I'm currently working with a 183g RNFP gas check and my next test batch should be around 2,200 fps. I see zero leading around 2K and groups at 50 yards run inside 2.5 inches with iron sights. If you get into a standard rifled 30/30 and you want to run cast to the best of its ability there's only one powder. RX7. Period. -

Micro groove is a fancy name Marlin uses for the same kind of rifling used on the old Ballard target rifles. Micro groove and Ballard rifling are one in the same. -

Okay, wih the Ballard rifling you do have you do have to keep things a little slower. I think Unique will serve you well. -
Should worshipers be allowed to arm themselves?
Caster replied to zapfbroad's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
If there's one thing I will NEVER miss about church, it's all the touchy feely people. Always somebody determined to make physical contact. Love thy neighbor as thy self....Well I don't hug and paw all over myself I ain't huggin and pawin on anyone else either. Growin'up in a pentecostal church it's worse than group therapy for anger management. I got a serious butt chewing as a kid from the parents for suggesting that I would only be taking a bath from sunday NIGHT through friday morning. THat way I would smell like a big sweaty armpit and possibly deter the "huggers" -
Purchasing a firearm from a company (NOT a dealer)

In the scheme of things, what's the cost of having a deal transfer it for you. Then there's NO way it could come back to haunt you unless it's some kind of NFA item. -
Necco wafers are better. The compressed powder composition give a nice poof when they take a hit. They're cheaper and easier to see in their pastel colors.

Should worshipers be allowed to arm themselves?
Caster replied to zapfbroad's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Yeah where two or three are gathered, there will I be also. I don't recall mention of multi million dollar synagogues full of hypocrites. WHo are people fooling anyway? Do people really think God gives two wags of a rats butt how pretty your church is? NO. It's all a vanity act. A broken commandment for that matter. Taking the Lord's name in vain, that is, which has little to nothing to do with saying the profanity "G__d_mn" Hmmm, I wonder how many empty bellies could be filled, how many homeless people could be clothed and given a place to stay, how many crack whores could be cleaned up, ect. ect. with the amount of money churches pay for stained glass and ridiculous architecture. A true temple of Christ could easily be a tent from Friedman's Army Navy Surplus. THere is one name by which we may be saved. He is real and I get the sinking feeling he's getting pissed by what he sees. It's going to be entertaining to me to see what he does when he gets back. Organized religion is a sham. It's one step from a hippy psychiatrist couch. It's a place to make people feel good about the miserable lives they live. Hypocrites. Not all, certainly not all of them. BUt the vast majority. Get wasted Saturday night and hook up with some gutter slut only to sing and clap from the pew the next morning. I hear it everyday, OHHH he's a good man, he's a deacon or a pastor.....YEah, so was John David Terry. -
Why can't people just mind their own business?
Caster replied to 10-Ring's topic in General Chat
You've entered a bigger area than you may know. THis is the WHOLE country's problem. People cannot manage their own life for rooting around in someone else's. You got nosey politicians trying to play GLobocop instead of solving our own internal problems. YOu got busy body old battle axes gossiping about everyone's business and what sinners they are instead of dealing with their own crack whore daughter. Hippies got their nose in everyone's business when they should be taking a bath and dragging a razor over that disgusting mug of theirs. Neighbors telling neighbors how to raise their kids. THere's a sack full of aßß whoopin's that need dealing out in this country. Most of them are busybody related. Imagine how things would improve if we left the eastern desert to rot and focused on our own south western desert. Stop shooting people over oil or terrorist training camps and started killing drug lords. -
Should worshipers be allowed to arm themselves?
Caster replied to zapfbroad's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Well there's a simple solution to the whole thing but it'll set faithful church goers pants on fire when I say it. Stop going. I can feel the presence of the Lord flow strongly, alone out in the woods, maybe out by the lake/river. Anywhere where the filth of man has not saturated everything as far as the eye can see. I know it's a kick in the teeth to the pew warmers but a righteous man can use a stump for an alter and get better results than the vast majority of collective prayers from an establishment built by man. Hate me for saying it, that's okay, but I'm not sorry; It's just the truth. -

Raise your weak hand in praise and worship to the God of your understanding; Keep your strong hand tucked close to your hip. No god worth serving passes out freebies to strong capable people. It's my personal belief that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob favors those who ask not for a detailed list of everything they need, but instead ask for the strength, wisdom and ability to do it themselves. I'm lost on the idea of asking God for EVERYTHING. What good is a heaven full of people he has to support? No. Any god worth serving takes pride in a follower who is empowered by the wisdom of the spirit and can take care of simple tasks without getting on his nerves like a spoiled child. Absolutely arm yourselves in your place of worship. There is a time for peace and a time for war. When a person decides to attack you and your loved ons in said place of worship.....it is time for war. The tunnel visioned bible belt Christians are deluded and hung up on passive attitudes. God understands war. God understands the difference in murdering another for personal gain or cold blood and causing a threat to your women and children to rapidly reach room temperature. God is no coward, and he is not weak. Why would you want to be any different? Vengeance is his true, but it's on YOU to stand and deliver when the lives of your loved ones are in peril. -

Yeah I was wondering when the censorship committee would comment on that. I figured a sodomizing bear might be a touch inappropriate. -

YES! Poor bear just doing what bears do. I know this comes as a shock to the sheeple but, BEARS are king of the forest. If you don't fancy being dismembered by an animal whose testicles weigh almost as much as your head, STAY OUT OF THE WOODS!!!! Man goes out in the woods and is startled by a tap on his should. He turn around and it's a big Grizzly bear. "I'm a grizzly bear and I'm king of this here forest." The bear commences to whoopin' the hell out of the man. The man makes it home, heals up and comes back with a rifle. He looks high and low but sees no bear......tap, tap, tap on his shoulder. "I'm a Grizzly bear and I'm king of this here forest." He whoopes the tar out of the guy and wanders off. THe man makes it home, heals up and returns with a machine gun. Looks high and low and.....tap, tap, tap..."I'm a grizzly bear and I'm king of this here forest." He stomps a muddy hole in the guy's head and wanders off. The man heals up and returns with a bazooka and a dozen hand grenades. Tap, tap, tap. Man turns and there's the bear...."You ain't in this for the sport are you???" -
We have several members here on TGO that are here but.....not all here.

I used to really put forth the effort to buy from "Brick and Mortar" stores but I just can't hack the BS. I'll hunt a gun or something her or at a gunshow. Other than that, I buy from a Aluminum and wood store with rubber tires. {david's trailer}

Which issues are most important to you?
Caster replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Economy. I'd like to see the deletion of all social programs. Never gonna happen. Too bad. -
G17 Why? Because I'd rather have a tool that works every galldarn time I use it, without fail. Capacity, and aftermarket support trumps everything else you listed. The 45 may make a big hole but you're better served by just learning to shoot instead of resting on mythical ballistics. Zombies attack in hoards. No matter how great a blessed 45 may be, you can still only take out one target per shot. For the same amount of shots you'll have a lot less weight than that boat anchor R1.

Everything Lee makes is excellent.......except that scale. And maybe their powder measure. But certainly that scale. It is doodoo!

That is a good thing. Still, you lose nothing by being Extra careful. Don't forget those copper jackets you skim off are gonna bring a few bucks too!

Water trapped in the pores of a rock flash to steam. Should the rock get trapped under the lead.....Well, I promise you that the steam WILL find a way out. We're not talking about a cherry bomb mind you but it will pop lead out. Think....Water in the oil at a fish fry. Also, I know we all think we are SUPER vigilant but what if a stray .22LR got in there. If you're cleaning out a shooting range, they're laying around and it is within the realm of possibility. Just be careful. If it seems like you are being over cautious......remember I said you are NOT.
