If you were limited to a tackle box no bigger than say a cigar box and you fishing to EAT not for fun....whatcha got in there? Obviously hooks and sinkers in various sizes for live bait, I'm thinking more of artificial bait. I'm also thinking of my particular area which will be creeks, ponds, small lakes and rivers like the Harpeth. THink small. I have found that the humble Rooster Tail in all it's sizes and colors to be God's gift to the inept fisherman. You can almost ALWAYS catch fish on a roster tail and finesse isn't so critical as say a jig. Thoughts?

Sure! There are several factory cast bullet loads. Problem is, most indoor ranges don't like cast bullets even if they are reload friendly. Indoor ranges are one of the many reasons the push for "green ammo" has come about. Unlike many things, I actually agree with it too. Lead fumes outside are a non issue, indoors though? Even with high efficiency ventilation, it's still a valid concern.

I used to be brass buzzard, circling around until I gathered every 223 I could find. Now...I wouldn't bend over to pick up ANY brass. David's primed LC brass is cheaper than working to clean, size, trim and load. THe only 223 brass I save come from my bolt gun. I can buy range brass at scrap price. I will NOT bend over and aggravate my back and shoulder for $3/lb. Common caliber brass is just too cheap and easy to come by to bother with. Any of my auto loaders, I let it hit the ground. THe way I figure it; i really like the range I shoot at and I support them by buying my pistol brass from them. If you figure that I might be buying my own brass back, stop and think. I have a bad back, I'll gladly pay anyone $3 per pound to pick it up for me.

Yes. I can all but guarantee you that crime WILL go down as a result of such a law passing. Even dumb crooks will reason that if theft equals death it might be a good idea to seek another option. There are no extenuating circumstances with theft. It's not like speeding where someone doesn't pay attention. You don't accidentally take Ohshoot's pink flamingo from his front yard. It's done with intent. 100% of the time. Start breaking some heads and people will stop it. It'll never stop it all, but I GUARANTEE you that cases of child molestation will go down if you start killing everyone of them that get a conviction. There's too dang many people in this world and 90% of all the world's current problems are directly linked to over population. I don't care what kind of person ya'll think I am or how this makes me sound, it's the truth. One way to combat over population is to STOP tolerating this. If there was a law that says I can't cast bullets anymore, I wouldn't care. I'd still do it. If they started putting people down for it, I'm pretty certain I'd stop. That's extreme but it's to the point. THere's NEVER a time when stealing is acceptable. NEVER. I don't care if your kids are starving, it's not okay to steal from your neighbor because I bet you that if you tell people your kids are starving, someone like me will feed them.

Well, the paper sack does not work well for rifle cartridges so I bought some nice corrugated cardboard boxes off of slEaze-Bay. You can get all sorts of sizes. THese are 3x4x4 and work for a bunch of different stuff. They were something like 20¢ each but you had to buy a minimum of 100. Big whoop. I'll need 'em. ANywho, I can get 80 rounds of .30 WCF in one and they stack out PERFECT. Made some nice labels a little bit ago for them. Now to tuck them away. Hmmm, wonder how many 9x19's I can get in one?
