  1. Movies have sold a lot of firearms. I find it ironic as the film industry are the most anti second Ammendment people on earth. Smith and Wesson were delighted at the Dirty Harry movies. Importers loved Enemy at the Gates, it sold a LOT of Mosins. Boondock Saints sold a fair share of 92's No telling how many John Wayne is responsible for.
  2. It is aggravating but I'd rather anneal than cut primer crimps and uniform pockets.
  3. Cause I'm broke, the lead is free and I get to do the bulk of my casting at work.
  4. All the problems in the world and these people devoted thousands of hours to make a dam Rubix cube robot? Humans really have no idea what priorities mean. If I were smart enough to do anything other than menial labor, this wouldn't be very high on the list.
  5. If man has proven anything, its that no punishment will deter wicked men from doing wicked things.     Just kill these people and get back to living; Let the affected families make an attempt to pick up the fragments of their destroyed lives.  As much as it may seem fitting that these people be sewn into a wet blanket and cooked alive over a low burning bed of coals, there's no moving forward in it.  There's no money it.  It won't heal the families left to deal with it.     Just kill these people and reintroduce them to the dirt from whence they came.
  6. I only solved one ONCE.  It was just too hard to get all the stickers peeled off and back on there straight.
  7. You gotta wonder if the son is responsible for everything and the father is covering for him.
  8. There was a guy at Knob Creek years ago that had a rheostat on his. You could hear him playing with it. BrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRR
  9. Less wear and tear when doing donuts in the parking lot too.
  10. If it takes its power from the drive shaft all one would need to do is use reverse or forward transmission gears to change directions.
  11. I stopped at Pizza Perfect in Bellevue. To my shame, I have never eat there. It's damn good. I got the Sicilian thick crust. I'll tell you what I thought at my first bite.....Pizza Hut when I was 10 years old. Before anyone flames me for that, the Pizza Hut pan pizza that was made 30 years ago has NOTHING in common with ANYTHING they make today. Nothing. Add to that, memories during childhood are often better than the real thing. The Pizza Perfect thick crust was soft in the middle but not undercooked and gooey. The bottom was seared and crisp and just greasy enough to be good but not so much to be nasty. Cheese stretched out for a good foot to 14 inches. Outter edges of the pepperoni were charred while the center was nice and soft. First time experience...they live up to their name.
  12. No metal reinforcement for the slide to ride on? Hmm, might have to wait a while and see other peoples results first.

    Small Rant

I myself have been slow a few times to reply. Ive even missed a couple, it happens but he's got a valid point, you should take the time to reply with something. I'd rather be told to piss off than be ignored. You can see if the recipient has read your pm too by the way, upper left corner of the screen will give a time or 'not yet read'.
  14. Where'd you get the barrel?
  15. I'm with you. Don't have insurance. Won't be getting any. They wear me out trying to sell me some. When I'm in a decent mood, I enjoy going round and round with them. "I only go to doctor when I can't get the bleeding to stop on my own." If that doesn't get them, then I whip out ... "Just cause ya'll are a bunch p-----s and have to see a physician when you stub your toe don't mean the rest of us do." They usually hang up after that.
  16. If it were repealed the thin string of moral restraint is broken.  As Ozzy said...Bloodbath in Paradise.
  17. People who won't stop talking even after you've stopped feigning interest. The cork soaking ess ohh bees who ask you to pull forward at the McDonald's drive through cause they're holding on fries. People who mistreat animals, even hunters who don't have the common courtesy to do everything in their power to make a quick clean kill. Whoever is responsible for canceling Firefly The inventor of the side post battery Anyone wearing a Johnny Cash tshirt but cant name more than three songs he sang. The prop-Master for The Walking Dead for thinking it's ok for Daryl to use a crossbow with no sighting system of any kind George RR Martin.....we're tired of waiting dammit! Anyone who uses a cell phone in public for non-business or non-life threatening reasons.
  18. I dunno. On one hand, I'm glad for any and all firearms manufactured here in the states. On the other hand, it looks like the offspring of an XD that got knocked up by an M&P in the bathroom at a rock concert.
  19. What is authentic about a 7 twist?? I mean, that's great if that's what you want, I'm all for it, but the old rifles were a slow twist.
  20. You know, you gotta do some digging to even find A2 type uppers any more. Going with a flat top and a detachable carry handle may be the way to.....it's just not the same. :)
  21. I have an 18 inch 8 twist. It's a shootin' sum beech. I really want an old school rifle this time though. I was a kid growing up the A-Team and aside from AC556 Rugers, that's what was on that show. I think I need a little nostalgia in my repertoire.
  22. Another thread got me thinking...   Why did everyone turn their back on the A2?  Everything is carbine, fast twists [stupid!!!] and how many trinkets can we pack on there.       Anyone else miss a nice set of fully adjustable iron sights?  Not the A1's, they were godawful, but the A2's were great.  Toss in a 12 twist pencil profile barrel and you got well balanced rifle that's a joy to shoot.    I've been toying with the notion of building another one.  Got a bare lower begging for new project.  hmmmm, Maybe a set of triangle guards and three prong out front.  LOL.
  23. I know what you're saying Gregg, I tend to agree....with the exception of the Winchester 94AE .444 I just picked up. The exposed safety is its one and only detraction. It's purty enough to have a beauty mark though.
  24. Chip Cain is an attorney and a sponsor here. He can really help you. Have him draw you up an NFA trust. Then, go buy a suppressor. Be happy. Worked for me! I used to think I hated AR's going off cause they are so godawful loud. Got my first can....now I KNOW I hate them. EVERYTHING needs a can on it! Lol!
