  1. My Toyota, iTunes and TGO will be the only thing I miss. I reckon I could get along without 'em.

That's great !!! That's thinking on the fly too.
  3. I dunno. Good question. It didn't stick in the photo. I'll probably never use it. It'll most likely hang on my shop wall er sumthin.
  4. Yep, they gave that rifle to you. That's one of those deals you HAVE to brag about. Pictures!!!
  5. Leaves of three, let them be. Words I learned in scouts. Words to live by.
  6. Spot on. I look for Merle to pose a threat to Carol or belittle her at the least, Then I look for Daryl to finally make know that he cares for her and knock his brother down for it.
  7. I like it. It looks like a shop floor mat.
  8. I hate Reagan........for not living forever and being the first president to serve a life term. Damn you Reagan for leaving us. There's been nothing but clowns and butt pirates in the oval office since you left!
  9. Thanks guys, I'm kinda pleased with it.
  10. Gorilla wood glue. I sanded the mating surfaces nice and flat with 60 grit and then drilled a bajillion little pin holes at odd angles all over the place to give the glue more surface area to hold to. Then I clamped the crap out of it and left it for three days to make sure it cured throughout. It was dry in half a day, but I wanted it cured before I started on it.
  11. Only a fool thinks he can survive, shooting every zombie he comes into contact with. Not one to be a fool, I took this old crusty roofing hatchet and spent some time with it. I ground off the BS and contoured it a bit. Then I smoothed it out a little and put a razor edge on it. The handle was short and rotten so I set about making me one with a touch more length. The center is teak with purple heart scales down the sides and the pommel scales made from bloodwood. Couple dozen coats of BLO until it wouldn't soak up any more and tada! I'm no wood worker, but it feels decent and is more than capable of severing some undead brain stems.
  12. If you can find one of e old Springfeild survival rifles .22/.410 over and under. They fold in half. They're not especially great with that flat paddle for a trigger but they will cover a fairly broad spectrum with proper ammo. A few 410 slugs and you could take deer in a pinch, the .22 and some shot loads would take pretty much anything else you might want to eat.
  13. I'm pretty conservative. Others may have gone further, but I'd say if your rifle is in good shape, start around 22.0 and your listed 25.0 would be absolute max. I have yet to load anything above 24.0 With satisfactory results although I know others have. I prefer to not push it.
  14. It's hard to believe people are this stupid. .........but they are. Humans are e greatest paradox of this world. Bottom feeders that reside on the top of the food chain.
  15. Picked up a Rossi 357 mag, 4inch barrel. It's a preTaurus interarms piece. Dunno why, but there's two different model numbers in crane pocket : M711 & M971 It's in great shape and locks up really well. Haven't shot it yet. Anyone own one with a thought or two?
  16. That's great that they step up like this and don't make silly excuses. A free factory magazine is a nice way to say "We're sorry" too.
  17. Yeah man! A few gallons of Low octane tractor gas and let it steep for ten or fifteen minutes. Fifty yard minimum. Gotta love the big Waaaaooomp! Fire is so cool.
  18. Thats awesome. We have some Coopers hawks here. They rock!
  19. Is it just me or do cats always look pissed?
  20. Uhhh, no, but some people might.
  21. I think some folks use it as a generalizd term and don't pay it a lot of attention. It's a southern thing. Kinda like saying, "Are you thirsty? Well, what kind of coke do you want?"
  22. Shame he survived but it's for the best I suppose. The little gal doesn't have to carry the burden of killing a man at such a young age.
  23. Tender Knuckles say you makum good whumpum.
  24. TWRA thingy. Now it's perfectly legal to deer hunt with a .17 Remington or a .221 fireball. ( just making examples). This is extremely irresponsible. If you are going to take a creatures life, have the damn common courtesy to put it down fast and as painless as possible, I say. That doesn't mean I think everyone should hunt with a cannon. I might be inclined to hunt with my 223 using a 75g Barnes through my CZ 527 but I'd limit myself to inside 100 yards and the shot would have to pass my strict judgement or I'd let him walk. I just think that any old bloke using a 55g soft point in is AR 15 is a very bad idea.
