Don't blame the kids. It's humans in general. Moral decadence precedes destruction. Where are the Romans? Agent Smith said it best and I love to quote him on it: I'd like to share a revelation I've had during my time here. It came to me when I tried to classify your species. I realized that you're not actually mammals. Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with their surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply... and multiply until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet.

Looks like an FJ imitation, without Toyota's track record for superiority. Looks cool as heck but I'm done with american car makers.

Despite Sandy, Sentinels Stand Guard at Tomb of the Unknowns
Caster replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Hey guys, I never said or implied anything to the negative. It just seems like what we spend to guard the unknown soldier might be better spent helping the here and now. I know the two SEAL/CIA operatives overseas that lost their life could have certainly used the dedication these guards are showing. DON'T MISUNDERSTAND ME GUYS! I'm 110% behind our troops in every way. I never EVER want to neglect or minimize the sacrifice any of them have made. EVER! I guess I'm just a sorry son of a bitch for a realist because I would rather see every dime we have supporting the men here and now. How many troops are fighting depression or dismemberment right now? Have we done all we can do for them? Somehow I think not. We owe the ones that are alive MORE than we are giving them. Unless he does something to dishonor himself, a combat veteran should NEVER walk in a bar and have to buy his own damn beer. It's a crime! Sorry for being me. -
Uhhh, yeah....hold out your left palm and I'll hand you an equivalent amount jacketed [pistol] bullets of what I have shot all year. If ya got a sturdy wheel barrow or three, we'll talk about what cast stuff I shot this year. I buy and load jacketed stuff to fill a void in my paranoid delusion; load it cheap and stack it deep - but I just don't see a reason to shoot that high priced mess!

Yes sir, I understand WHAT they are doing and I understand why they say [as you did] they are doing it, I just don't understand why. Don't hate me for saying it, I'm totally cool with it and it provides a good job for some seriously dedicated men. Fine by me. Unlike some some douche bags, I am ALL FOR preferential treatment for our soldiers. AND, contrary to what some of our soldiers say in modesty, I DO think they are better than the rest of us and deserve to be treated as such. They're the reason I get to sit behind this keyboard and type this. God bless them and give them all a raise even if my taxes go up a couple of bucks for it! -
If you're gonna cut the barrel dow and remove the choke, google "Jug Choking" and try that. A brake cylinder hone will do the trick but it's time consuming. Essentially you are making a small area larger than the bore so that the shot expands then the cylinder bore chokes it back down a again. Similar idea to back boring only a little more shade tree.

You might be right, I may just be over thinking things a bit.

I realize I could easily ruffle some veteran feathers here, and it is NOT my intention....but...I don't really understand their purpose. What are they guarding? I'm not trying to say I am opposed to it, but I am confused by the need for manned guards who require pay and benefits when one could commission a beautifully handcrafted monument to serve as lasting reminder. Is there some national treasure buried there that only the elite know about? I guess it's not in the scope of a lowly civilian to understand such things. -
I remember it well too. I had the time of my life. Got to ride my three wheeler up and down hwy 100 and the cops would just wave. Not like they could give chase. I made a small fortune making vice runs for my buddies. Ten bucks a pack for Camels and they were glad to get it. No telling how much food I ran from the local grocery store. No power for weeks, my grandfarts had propane so it was still toasty over at their place. We had a monstrous fireplace so,ours wasn't bad either. Good times!

I ain't left handed so I'm good there. AND, I'm one horrific ball of fail I suppose. I just don't see what the big hooplah is over the Glock factory trigger. I like it. As far as the stippling goes, you'd be surprised how much better purchase your hand gets on the pistol with the grip force.

That's pretty popular in the more modern schools of thought ain't it? Grabbing the slide instead of hitting the slide release I mean. It's such a habit for me to reach up there and bump the release with my thumb. I'm fairly long fingered and the G19 is VERY easy for me to reach the release without disturbing my grip. What are the supposed advantages on not using it? Seems like you have to pull the gun down off target where I can reload without taking the gun off target. Maybe I need to watch a video or sumthin' to better understand.

Still fairly new to the Glock world with less than a year in. There's so many whizz bang BS gimmicks out there, upgrades can get confusing. SO, list your upgrades that actually WORK. I have extended slide releases, they're a must. The extended mag release needs some file and polish work before they are serviceable. They are TOO extended and the edges are like razors. I bought a Glock that already had a Grip Force beaver tail in place. I really like it and plan to put one on my other one as well. Lone Wolf barrels are a must for casting fools like me. They are very accurate too. The places I have not gone ar guide rod upgrades and triggers. I don't have a problem with the factory Glock trigger. I think it's great so I have been slow to investigate them. I'm wondering if a full length STEEL guide rod is a worthwhile investment too. Lastly, I was thinking of picking up a threaded Lone Wolf barrel for a potential suppressor some day. In the mean time, it'll need a thread protector. Anyone ever used one of Lone Wolf's muzzle brakes? They look snazzy, be a fun range toy though, absolutely useless on a carry gun.

Broken firing pin? The pieces may line up enough to fire once in a while. -

Sometimes a man is obliged to let natural selection remove the weak from the food chain. You've cleared your conscience by trying to tell him. Now, let him have his complimentary three hots and a cot. -
Hated Glock for years. I was stupid for years. I own two 19's and if I happen on a decent deal, I'll buy a few more. There's no better handgun I've ever held or shot. Period.

I could see the ATF trying to regulate magnets as autosears should the firing pin stick and cause it go full tilt boogie.

He sure does grow some good red meat though.

I think the term "Useless" in this connotation might be better to be thought of as impractical. My most impractical firearm:
