1.
"Magazines are a great place to store ammo." Wish I'd said that.
We've all been saying that for a while now haven't we?
2. They've dug up German weapon caches in Russia and found loaded magazines. Been loaded 60 years! Still work fine. I don't know how old you are, but I will not live that much longer. Load them all. Magazines are a great place to stash ammo.
3. "I don't like repeat offenders, I like dead offenders. " I'm speechless, my feelings cannot be expressed any clearer than that. BEAUTIFUL. God bless you Ted.
4. Still alive. Dang, gotta go back to work.
5. Red has it. You cannot beat Nikon for the money.
6.
Ah, like me, another optimist. :)   - OS
Meh, the easy way is boring. Why not leave like you came in? Naked, screaming and covered in somebody else's blood.
7. In theory, he could use his ffl and buy them with no background check. Then resell them. As long as the paper trail requirements are met, I know of no restrictions as to where a dealer can buy his inventory so long as it is legally owned/ownable. That's a pretty sorry practice, but it IS a capitalist market. No one is forcing anyone to buy them at inflated prices and if he can get it .......shame on him for lying about his distributors though.
8. I'm guessing 4:20. I know what a lot of people will be doing in preparation during that time. As for me, I'll probably stil be frequenting the throne questioning my judgement on this grubby Mexican food. Chili Colorado, great on the intake valve, rough on the ole exhaust valve. At least I will expressing my sentiments on the whole 'end of the world' matter. It's all a bunch of cr£p. No way we (humans) are getting off the hook that easy. It'll be slow and painful, bet on it.
9. I laughed so hard I think I peed a little. Serves the fat slob right, hypocrite. Too much of a coward to mind himself he has to hire it out. Now some poor sap is in trouble and he still gets to ride hippy train.
10. PP on his coat, poop on his sock. That's some nasty ghetto trash right there.
11. Why would you convert grains to or from cc? Smokeless powder is measured by weight not, NOT NOT volume. Get a scale. I despise Lee dippers. I have a pile of them, and I only ever use them for trickling powder into my scale pan. I have measured time and time again the same dipper with the same powder and you'll get variances every time. Be careful my friend.
12. Thanks and Kings to you Slappy. I love stories like this. I really love it when people with physical difficulties get out there in defiance of their obstacles and refuse to do anything EXCEPT enjoy life. I think it's funny and pitiful that many of them whine less than some of us and they actually have an excuse to complain unlike the rest of us.
13. Great story....but this IS a gun forum. What gun/load was being used? Inquiring minds wanna know! That is an awesome thing you do. The fact that you got so excited is proof rewards come from good deeds. I bet you werent this excited from the last deer YOU shot. Huh?
14. Well this seems really bad, but it's not. This is putting money in the pocket of companies we love. AND if there were to ever be a tin foil hat gun grab, that's just THAT much more stuff out there. Keep buying folks. You're keeping people in a job!!!
15. Yes, let's please drop the assault weapon moniker. For what it's worth, you could go on a killing spree with a pointy stick. My AR has never assaulted a single human being.
16. The AR is americas rifle because one, it's basically the same as what our troops use. Second and possibly more important, it is so versatile. It's like a box of Legos. Little switcharoo and you go from an SBR'd 10.5 inch barrel close quarters battle rifle, to a 24 inch bull barrel varmint rifle. In less than 60 seconds. Arguably it is the most ergonomic and comfortable rifle you'll ever shoot. When a quality rifle (AR) is coupled with premium or handloaded to suit, ammunition, it is blisteringly accurate. You can snatch that wimpy 223(5,56 NATO) upper off there and slap on a 300 blackout or 458 SOCOM and hunt anything that walks in TN. You can buy an upper that fires .50BMG and shoot 1,000 yards. You can set it up for .22lr and have a great afternoon with the kids for cheap. Then at the end of the day you can put it back the way started with, set it next to the bed, loaded with frangible ammo and when things go bump in the night, you can call the cops to come help you clean up the mess the guy who was intent on robbing and raping your family made when you sent him off to the next life. It took me a while to come around as I was a forged in fire Kalashnikov man. I ain't going back. The AR is loved by Americans, feared by ameriKans. Of course, we don't expect any less from leftist commie hippie trash.
17. Who wants a 30 round clip? Do you know how hard that'd be to force into the magazine? You'd probably cut your thumb in half. Ive never seen a charger guide sturdy enough to stabilize that much flopping around. Ten rounds are fine, the SKS works great. Five rounds work even better on a mauser. Personally I prefer magazines.
18. Kinda gives the secret away but maybe just pm the person. OR pm some of the guys on his friends list. I'd hate to see anybody miss out from a address snafu.
19. To parrot my last response to a thread about Dicks sporting goods. Dick's - an appropriately named store.
20. Last few gunshows I've been to we're kinda timid and boring. Same old faces, no one really turning stuff over. Just lookers. Maybe everybody's just broke around here.
21. I practice HACC. .....thats half ass concealed carry. I pull my shirt over it, and no more. If it rides up, oh well.
22. ...and we all got Pollock writ on our foreheads.
23. There's so many parallel lines between pre WWII Germany and this country I half expect to read about construction projects for massive incinerators and Government contracts for zyklon b.
