Bad primers happen. Doesn't mean you did anything wrong. Maybe you did, maybe you didn't. Well never know. Keep on trucking.

Off topic, sorry, but this reminded me of a picture I saw recently. Handicapped my eye! I got lots respect for any of you guys who refuse to go down quietly!

Can they really do a forced buy back?
Caster replied to JohnC's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
The better question is: Do they have testicular fortitude to try. Most of me hopes they don't but admittedly the little red me on my left shoulder hopes they do. -
Who cares? CTD sux blue whale ( the biggest mammal on earth). I would make my own charcoal, Make my own nitrate from barn dirt, and mix it appropriately with floured sulphur to launch bullets I cast from a gun I make from water pipe before I'd do business with people like them. On the other hand, there's nothing compelling anyone to do business with them, this a free market capitalist society. They're free to be douche bags if they like. Talking about them does nothing. Just stop going to their website, taking their catalog and never buy from them.

I know of one other who got stiffed but that one got buttoned up quick. Let's just hope it's the failings of our lovely postal peoples.

Oh, scored another skull of vodka too. Crystal Skull rocks. Got to see the Hobbit on Christmas day too!

Got a crossbow and a super sweet medal detector. I have delusions of treasure now. I'm gonna be rich! If nothing else I can lose weight by getting out with it.

What Is Your Family Christmas Tradition, Quirky or Not
Caster replied to runco's topic in General Chat
Me and the wife are going to see the Hobbit and then grab some pasta at Buca Di Beppo. No family, thank God. Don't have none, don't want none. Nice quiet, peaceful day of orc blood and lasagna. -
Everything is now an "assault" weapon and selling
Caster replied to Dolomite_supafly's topic in General Chat
Do we have a line on WHERE most of the exorbitant prices are being paid? I mean if it's here, well that just stupid, but if it's new York or some other vomitus turd of a state then it makes more sense. -
Caster I have a .54 round ball mold yall can use. Send me a PM, I also have a "00" buck shot mold.
....next time you visit mom. ....I'll make it worth the stop.
You, my friend, are very welcome. It was the least we could do for all you have done for all of us. Merry Christmas David. Dolomite
Dang right!!!

Okay, I'll toss out an offer. Since a few of us got sling shots, anyone want to buy a Lee mold for an appropriate size round ball, .50 caliber should work awesome, and LOAN it to me, I will cast a good size pile for anyone who got a slingshot for Christmas. Mail em out and send the mold back to the owner with an even bigger pile. Offer good to secret Santa participants ONLY. If I happen upon a mold myself, I will STILL honor the deal to the Secret Santa circle. When I say a good size pile, figure however many I can force into a small flat rate box.

Slingshots are rockin the secret Santa his year. I got a cool sling shot with ammo, some Remoil wipes(that are going straight in my BOB) a very cool bore light and some target stickers(that I really needed by the way!). Now I have to buy yet ANOTHER mold. I need a good round ball mold so I can cast for new slingshot! Thanks Santa! You rock!

Are reloading supplies getting scarce like ammo?
That would be a mess if Rocco had a change in routines. He finally decided he liked me. :D Glad you said no, also. I've consolidated my stash to be more useable. I still have a long way to go, though. Decisions, decisions....
Rocco only likes me if David is standing right there. Best of friends he and I until David walks off, then don't like me so much. Sign of a good dog. He told me "Master trusts you, but I got both eyes on you boy." LOL -
Had a similar problem with the crossbow remember? Walmart dot com, so I was told, is almost a totally different company. They don't have much to do with one another.

Does Gov't know what firearms you have?
Caster replied to ohbehave's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I don't give two wags of a rats ass what they know anymore. I'm so sick of the fearmongering and paranoia about Gestapo visits I could puke. In all honesty, I'll obey the law as long as I can, then if they want to kill me, I will noisily. Some days I hope it's sooner rather than later. I don't care what watch list I'm on, all my guns are legal and trying to take them away would be theft and I will fight thieves. Ive been living under the paranoia most of my life and I'm tired of it. I just don't care anymore. I'm through with it. I wrapped some leftovers in my hat put them in the fridge. A much better use for reynolds wrap in my opinion. This last round of AWB talk was it for me. It's just not fun anymore. -
Three Reasons Gun Control Isn't Going to Happen
Caster replied to R_Bert's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Remember another thing guys, when it comes to banning guns. They cannot ban machinists. That's what I did for about 13 years. The last four we're spent on a CNC mill. Now, I may not be able to painstakingly handcraft a Browning A bolt, but I can make something will work reliably and be very accurate. Have you seen the backwater crapholes that make perfectly serviceable AKs? They can't can't get rid of squat! I cannot do it myself but I know men who can; a good die maker worth his salt can build you a die set capable of stamping out magazine body halves. Tack weld them together and there you go. Winding a spring is nothing, the floor plate is simple, the follower is the hardest part to make and still quite easy to make. There's nothing they can do so everyone just relax. During WWII England made Stens in bicycle shops. If inspiration hits you, buy a mill and a lathe and learn to use them. -
"No-Refusal" checkpoints throughout Tennessee this holiday season
Caster replied to a topic in General Chat
Sure fire way to hide from the fuzz....stop breaking the gotdang law. I guarantee my method for ducking speeding tickets works. No cop can catch me. I DRIVE THE SPEED LIMIT. They can't get me for DUI either. I drink at home, alone. It's funny how cops ignore you and leave you alone when you obey the law. -
So sorry my friend. Be careful!

Any Loopholes for open Carry without permit in Tennessee?
Caster replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I'm sitting here talking to you about TN law and I just now realized your in Colorado! -
Holy AK/AR!!!!!! Have you looked at Gunbroker prices today??!!?
Caster replied to gregintenn's topic in General Chat
Just remember guys, this is a capitalist society (for now) and a person is free to market their goods for whatever price they choose. I agree it BS, but it's not wrong legally. No one is forcing these people to pay those prices. I wish I could sell Pmags for $50 each! Too bad I have a conscience. -
I'm not 21 yet so I can't get one. So I coudn't even if i wanted to. But you are right. Tennessee's system is a LOT better than in a lot of America.
Ahhhh, okay. Well brother, there's no loophole in the country that'd help you there. With the exception of hunting, you can't tote one at all. Trust me though, it's worth the wait. Couple of months before your 21st start getting your ducks in a row, sign up for a class and be ready. Take care and be safe. -
Any Loopholes for open Carry without permit in Tennessee?
Caster replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
No. And I don't mean to reprimand you but instead ask that you not consider looking for one. Even if there were loopholes, it does no one any good. We have a fair and just system in TN. It may not be perfect but it is exponentially better than the most of Amerika. PLEASE, support the system by getting your permit. By supporting the system in this manner you make your voice heard as one of a large number. Lawmakers respect numbers. They have to. The larger the number of people supporting a given thing, the greater the power that thing has. If enough participate, the chances of revoking TNs rights to carry diminish. -
To that end, you might reference Starship Troopers. In so much that a resident of this country, free to work, live and prosper differs great from a citizen with extended rights earned from civil service or other. This line of thinking leads to elitism and subjugation of masses though. Can you really live with a police state? I'm guessing a state full of policemen would a nightmare.
