1. That's right! I have all I need. I WOULD tell you all how incredibly awesome this is, but really, for David, it doesn't surprise me. It's just how the man is wired. It's the reason I don't shop prices and I don't ask when buy from him. I just spend what I have to spend. I don't concern myself with weather I'm getting a bargain or not. I know I am.
2. You say this as a jest, just cutting up, but it brings up a good point. Going to be lots of guys out there want; thinking they have something to offer a group with their offer of security muscle. If anyone wants to be welcome in a group, you better have something better to offer. A green thumb is a better offering than an iron fist. A blacksmith, mechanical savvy people, ect. Anyone can learn to shoot a trespasser. Not picking on you zgunbear. LOL
3. Right there with you Mike. I might even get you to shoot a cast bullet before its over.
4. Ohh yeah. The ranger floor plates are awesome. They can be damn difficult to get in place. I like that. They make them MUCH easier to pull from a pouch. They protect the magazine if you drop it and heck, they just look cool!
5. I have a feed lip gauge. I take any USGI magazines get, disassemble, strip the body and paint within etching primer before painting the color I want. Look the spring over good and stretch it back out a bit. Add the afore mentioned Magpul follower and a ranger floor plate and they are ready. I have done more than enough like that to do me for life. I still have a Kroger sack left to do. Did you pull a random photo for the ranger floor plates? I ask because the ones pictured are for Pmags.
6. I've always thought a Naginata would be great for walkers. It gives you advantage of keeping your distance which is always a good thing, as well as superior leverage.
7. Not enough pressure to expand the case to make a good seal. If they run, it's not that big a deal, but it's messy. I have the same issue with some of favorite 45 Colt loads.
8. I tumble lube using a 45/45/10 mix of Lee liquid Alex, rendered Johnson's paste wax & odorless mineral spirits. Less mess, dries faster, not stick afterwards and goes a looooooooong way. For bullets with regular lube grooves I pan lube with my own homemade lube made from beeswax, Lucas red and tacky grease, STP oil treatment, ATF, and Johnson's Paste Wax.
9. Yeah, but...trolls can't read.
10. Yep, I'd take the Marlin. It's handicaps are minimal if you are truly honest with yourself. Not many of us are going to be trading volume of fire in a blaze of glory. Also consider the marlin will slip unr the radar of skeptic eyes where the Siaga will scream red alert.
11.
I've always liked the idea of being able to recognize another TGO'er. I've probably seen some of you out in public and never knew it.
Unsure weather this is a good thing or not for SOME of us.
12. Lyman M die. I say it all the time.
13. My new favorite, Gen3G19, Keep calm and carry. Love it. Need it on a tshirt and hoodie.
14.
I'll sell you one......$100
Better be preban, hi capacity assault hat for that kind of money.
15. I do like the upgraded shadow of e carbine. Thanks for using the Magpul stock instead of the vomitus turd that is the original carbine stock.
16. That last one is my iPad background. Love it.
17.
No, it’s a fixed magazine that holds 10 rounds.
Not entirely true. There are iterations with a detachable magazine that hold more than ten. Some very few were even selective fire!
18. Anyone else surprised the thread is still open? I would have thought there'd be a blanket of ash on the ground by now.
19. I limishine them if they are crusty then just leave them in the tumbler until I'm happy with them. I've ran some for 8 hrs a day for days until they come clean. Pull them as they shine and toss in some more. Sometimes I'll turn my tumbler on around daylight and it won't get turned off till night. I run mine with the lid off and I'll just stik my hand in there and pull a few then add some more. Limishine works to get them clean but they don't look nice. They're dull. They will polish in short order though. Much faster than just tumbling alone and it's easier on your media. I just hate blowing out all the water to get them dry before tumbling. In the summer I set them on a towel in the sun.
20. Shouldn't EVERY day be come and take them day? Why give 364 other days where you don't yell the same thing?
21.
Absolutely, seems to be a growing trend as of late on the site in general.
Maybe trolls are in rut this time of year.
22. I'm with Nicky in that it should be confined to ones property, meaning a very small area of effect. I'd dearly love to have one that'd work for a 20' radius of the device. That wouldn't disrupt anyone's lives and would make mine a little better.
23. End of the regime? I think not. As much as I'd like to see it, it ain't happening. There's a new tri-partisan right wing conservative company for any of you stock market types. The company of Ben, Dover & Tookitt. .
24. Hammer of justice in ...three...two...one....
25. What makes us think even form a moment tht these polls mean squat? They don't listen to the people. They don't care what we think or say. These polls only make us FEEL better.
