I like that!

This thing is starting to snowball. Companies are standing up. I want to see states stand up too. Let the country become polarized and the manufacturing move to where it's wanted. Guns aren't the end all tell all of the manufacturing world but it COULD start a chain reaction. What if ALL of the gun companies moved south where they are welcomed with arms wide open. As the dust settles people's eyes are opened by the fact that more jobs are here and they say, "hmmmmm Instead of that detroit pile of crap, I think I'll buy a kentucky made Camry or a nashville made Nissan. " "I ain't buyin salsa made in New York city! I'll buy the one made in texas!" Okay, I'm funnin' but seriously. Screw buying made in america just because it's made in america. Buy made in USA products made by people you want to see prosper because be honest; Would any of us really shed a tear if Chicago was starving to death? No.

I can honestly say, I can't really tell a difference. My only miff is I can't get small pistol CCI or Hornady 30 cal gas checks as easy. Don't need em, just like to keep more than I can use. My shooting has hardly changed in the last decade.

Yeah, I think so too. I call them flaggots. Little Aholes flag everything.

Casting bullets, a cautionary tale.

What the hell you talkin about? Aint nuthin wrong with me with me with me. One of lead's biggest side effects is damage to your reproductive system. Being as I have refused to procreate, I'm good on that one. I had most of the symptoms BEFORE I got big into casting. Muscle pain, moments of lethargy, mood swings and chronic fatigue. I just thought that was part of me being me! -
It's ridiculous how busy this man is. He never gets a break. As such, he may miss this post. I can tell you that he USUALLY does not ship. Not that he can't but it's hard for him to tie himself up shipping small orders when there are large volume consumers out for his time too. I should say too, David is a super guy. He busts his butt to get us what we need. I know there are some people who don't, can't or won't cut the guy any slack and they bust his balls on a regular basis. To those people I say screw you!

I have no concrete evidence to substantiate this, but it's my opinion that the 40 is dying in popularity. Again, it's just my opinion but I think people are starting to realize the 40 S&W was a solution to a problem that never existed. If you need a large caliber automatic the 45 ACP has a track record that cannot be disputed. If you prefer more capacity with equal or even better accuracy dependi gn the gun and shooter, 9x19 is your baby. Splitting the difference between the two makes sense to some folks but not me. You lose the capacity of the 9x19 AND the size advantage of the 45ACP. If you need more than either of those offer then hit the 10mm. The 10mm should have NEVER died. It is very impressive. Notice too that you may find a Glock or M&P in 40 but finding a 9mm or 45 in stock can be troublesome. A person wanting to get into 40 caliber Glocks can usually find a steal of deal. Even in these chaotic times. If I stepped on any toes or offended any 40 lovers I apologize.........and grow up you big baby! LOL

Yeah, kinda like guaranteeing your spot in line almost.

You can prepay for autographs and photo ops. So, I'm definitely getting my Horton Scout crossbow signed.....err well, I've ordered new stock stickers from Horton and plan on getting that signed so I can still get the crossbow out. I know I'm getting a photo with the Saints plus Rocco too. I don't wanna look like a dork, so I gotta think of something cool to do for the photo. They have prop guns and they'll pose pretty much however you want. I'm thinking me, the Saints and Rocco should have a Mexican stand off. What do you think? Not like I'll get another opportunity here. Oughta make it count!

Huh? Please tell me that's a failed attempt at humor. While I take NO moral issue with ridding the world of mutant zombie ghetto trash thugs, I take great issue with any insinuation that the respecstable gentlemen of TGO actaully WANT to engage a hostile enemy and take their life. If it ever happens to me, I'll lose no sleep over it I guarantee but I for damn sure won't be happy about and I don't sit around looking forward to it. Again, please tell me I misinterpreted that post.

Anyone ever have the one where you're dressed in sort of sun god robes, standing on a pyramid with a thousand women screaming and throwing little pickles at you?

This is a very healthy hobby too. It gets you out walking around. I got one for Christmas and planon getting around a bit this spring.

This is a VERY common dream. Right up there with brakes that won't stop the car. That sort of thing. I think it's very prevalent in LEO/military folks. A sweet little gal by the name of Glenlivet will sooth those fears and lull you to a sound sleep.

HEY! It's a gun forum! If that ain't an honest mistake I don't know what is! LOL Yep, I fixed it.

I think it says there ARE stil men out there that act like men, not neutered politically correct sissies. We may be a bit more abrasive with our language and a bit more open with what we feel inside but a modern MAN can do that without being exceedingly vulgar or all touchy feely.

Daryl Dixon is the John Wayne of this generation. Treats a lady like a lady, stabs a bad guy in throat, and lives off the land like an Apache.

I'll have to ask the wife. I was under the impression it was the Belcourt. I'm probably wrong don't take my word for it. This is why I married a good woman. Why bother with details when shes fanatical about details anyway.
-
Who's going? It's coming to Belcourt. Norman Reedus will be there! I already got my tickets. gonna get him to sign my Horton Scout 125, the same crossbow he uses! How many times will you get a photo op with Daryl Dixon!?!?!

If you want some interesting reading, google "Crucible Particle Metallurgy" Tool steels pale in comparison. After heat treat it takes some serious abrasives to work them with any amount of accuracy and success. Back when I was working as a machinist the only way we had to work heat treat CPM was wire EDM or CBN grinding wheels. A standard stone would just load up and wouldn't cut at all. CPM10V is a great knife blade material. I've always wondered why they don't use high speed steels for knife blades. M42, T15, Rex 76 etc is what cutting tools are made from. If you can make cutting tools to cut tool steel with it, it'd have to make a killer knife blade.

Ahh come on, you know you think that's funny! No one else remembers that from the 80's? ...and I always enjoy responsibly. I drink at home, alone. Zero exceptions. That's great stuff BTW, it's a quarter after six in the morning and I'm up with no headache and loading the truck for a trip to the range. You won't do that with a whiskey hangover.

This is Bob Barker reminding you to have your ghetto trash spayed or neutered. Good night everybody!!!

So they join the ranks of all the other losers who make up half the country.
