You can get free tshirts from various charity places and usually on the last day of yard sales. Craigslist too. I PREFER a white tshirt so I can see what's coming out but I use them all. I refuse to buy patches when cut up tshirts work just as well. You're not alone.

Buy you a mold and get busy! Jacketed bullets are waste in 38! A good cast bullet will do anything a sleazy copper condom will do in a cartridge like the 38 special. AND it'll do it cheaper and at lower pressures. Bare minimum, buy a 158g round nose tumble lube mold from Lee and a couple bottles of tumble lube. Buy a ladle and one of Lees casting pots and you're ready to roll. Don't bother sizing them unless your mold is grossly over sized. When you're ready I'll tell you how to thin that mule snot tumble lube into a better lube that will go MUUUUUUCH further and dry without getting sticky. For the price you'd pay for a few hundred jacketed bullets you can start casting your own. BUYING JACKETED BULLETS FOR A CALIBER SUCH AS THE 38 SPECIAL IS ABSOLUTE LUNACY!!!!!!!!!

I've had/have several. I may not have professional training or be competitive but it's been my finding that people who have had negligent discharges while using them are obviously at fault not the holster. I just don't see how it's possible unless you're a rubber fingered gumby.

Where does one get the runner type? I have a very good use for it.
