THe show seems corny and HEAVILY scripted at first watch, but if you dig into these guys' lives...wow. THese are some awesome people. By far my favorite of the bunch is Jason. Check this video out. I didn't even know these guys travel the country talking to groups and what not. Kinda makes me hungry thinking about some backstrap and tenderloin...."Kill and eat!" Well if God says so, awwright then...LOL MOre than anything, I just love their "anti-yuppie" attitude. Strange, if this lifestyle is soooo wrong to the masses, why is this the number 1 show on cable right now. http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=US&client=mv-google&hl=en&v=tsQlQBB97aU&feature=related&nomobile=1

THat's no issue to me, I have never liked .22 rimfire. I don't shoot it, so why worry about buying it?

Perhaps at 71 he decided he did not want to be a burden on anyone for anything, ever. If thats the case, I can certainly respect that. I may be the only one, if I am, so be it.

This has been proven more than once over the years to be a reloading mishap. Obviously the person responsible needed a scapegoat. I don't believe the chinese ever produced 44 magnum ammunition. MOst likely a double charge. It happens to those who don't pay attention.

Whitney Wolverine.......just to throw a wrench In the works. LOL

SOME components are difficult to find....but that's just like factory ammo, thats why you put away a good stash. A lot of my loads use powders very few people use. I've found excellent results with some powders that are not run of the mill for the respective calibers I use them for. Therefore, the only common denominator for me is primers. Thankfully they are easy to store and take up very little space. You can store 20,000 primers in the same general space as a thousand rounds of factory boxed ammo.

Man, I honestly forget sometimes that some youse guys actually gotta go BUY ammunition for your guns. Sad.

Ask around and get you a section of railroad track. I think I gave $8 for mine. You can whoop tha piss out of them.

I wish I had never seen a 1/7 twist barrel. When I first got into it, I was on fire for it. Few years later....I hate it. It will shoot about two inches group with a 75g Amax at 100 yards. That's with an Eotech. I imagine a scope would be MUCH better. Using a 62g steel core bullet does pretty much the same. On a whim I tried some 50g Zmax bullets. I wasn't even on the paper at a hundred. I imagine they weren't even a whole bullet by the time they got there. As Dolomite said, they will self destruct. The SS109 runs about 3,100fps. In a 1/7 twist barrel that's 318,857 RPM if my math is right. I've spent a small fortune to build an inventory that will keep my AR running through the worst of times. Had I built on a 9 twist barrel, I'd be out of pocket a lot less. Listen brother, 1/9 twist. Maybe even slower if you get a deal. Slow the RPMs down on a 55g bullet and things change drastically.

SOMEWHERE, I have some steel if I can find it, I'll send it to you. I have some 41S42 which is a sulphurized Chrome Molybdenum steel and some exotic stuff too; Some Viscount-44 which is H-13 pre-heattreat. It's a hot rolled tool steel and a miserable SOB to machine. I have some crucible steels too, but I doubt you could forge that stuff very easily. CMP-10-V is a nightmare to work with. AND, I have some high speed steel that's still soft (well, there ain't a dang thing soft about it!!!) Some T-15 and few pieces of M42 I wanted to make knife blades from. I never will. I'll look for them in storage next time I'm there and if I can find them, I'll give you shout.

Tell the truth! You just like the feeling of whoopin' tha piss outta stuff! LOL

Nice man, very nice. Seems every knife you post is a little better than the last. Your skills are growing pretty doggone quick. It'll be very interesting to see where you are in another year. I was a machinist for many years and I've made several knives using flat ground stock, a drafted carbide end mill and a Bridgeport. I can't believe I'e ever be able to beat one out on an anvil. Especially ending with the same amount of material you start with. Kings to you brother.

Thank You! SEE! It's not a difficult concept at all.

McDonald's is killing our children in mass quantities, poisoning them with diabetes and a big case of lard azz. There's lots of stuff killing our children in larger numbers than guns ever will.

MY friend doesn't reload at all....yet. He's learning. I don't think he feels cheated any more than I do. I wouldn't let 200 rounds of anything raise my blood pressure. As I said earlier, as far as the bullets go, the price was such that fort all I care, I'll sling them in the trash and never give it another thought. I've had to talk myself out of making a phone call a few times this morning to explain to this guy that this isn't how you talk to people. It just isn't worth having an argument over. Heck, he could have still been rude and just said "No refunds, no exchanges, all sales are final" and I wouldn't be posting any of this. THe only thing that really upsets me is having the bullets in front of him and refusing to even look a them, all the while stating emphatically that they were perfectly usable. ...I suppose they are usable. My secret santa gave me a cool sling shot for christmas.

That sucks. Tell you what, at the first sign of headache, you just reach out with the administrative mighty mouse and double click on delete. Won't hurt my feelings in the slightest. I just wanted my friends here to know what's going on. I'm not even trying to say don't shop there. You guys just be mindful of who you're dealing with and remember to ALWAYS support those who go out of their way to take care of you. Like our vendors here on TGO. We got some awesome people here, not just Magnum Materials. Guns and Leather, Cain Law Firm, D&T and all the others. These guys will help you. We need to know who's treating us with respect and dignity and those who ain't. No joke TGODavid, if it looks like theres an argument brewing, lock it and chunk it in the trash.......LOL not that you need anyone's permission.

Yep and some low acid yellow pear 'maters too. They's good on salads!

I have a 20x40 raised bed. Rain drains fast but it sucks up the water in late summer. I have green beans poking through. Cucumbers and squash about 6inches tall. My biggest deal this year is an Aframe I built to hang topsey turveys on. I have bell peppers, cucumbers, jalapeños and tomatoes in them. One of my Mr. Stripey tomato plants is already about two foot. I hope they do well.

*Disclaimer* This is no less than I deserve for even considering the use of these stupid copper condoms. Needless to say, an appropriate mold will soon be acquired and that'll be end of this jacketed nonsense. :usa:

http://ahreloading.com A-H Reloading 1134 4th Ave. South Nashville Tn. 37210 (615) 835-3407 Okay, so a close buddy of mine went there on my suggestion looking for things David did not currently have in inventory. He bought (200) 90g Hornady bullets for his .380 I prepped the brass and was going to load them for him. Well, he brings me these bullets and I knew they were pull downs. I KNOW pull downs have marks. It's just a part of life and USUALLY they don't affect anything. Well, these were swaged down, WAY undersize. No big deal, its just a few bullets, so lets take them back right? WRONG! The dude at A&H proceeds to say that he's sold ten thousand of them and had no complaints. "Soooo....could you just take a look at these? Several of these will fall down into a fully resized case." NO, you just don't know what you're doing. "So I have them here and you're not even going to look at them?" NO! There's nothing wrong with them! Well, bless my soul! How wonderful it must be to know without seeing! How truly astounding it must be to have such claircognizance that you don't even need visual confirmation to KNOW that something is what it is! What an Arrogant, Narcissistic Ahole! I'm not immune to being wrong. I could be. Maybe I ain't doing something right. BUT what kind of business man REFUSES (hatefully) to even inspect the items in question? ANYWAY, the bullets themselves mean nothing. I'll pitch them in the trash before I worry over the cost of 200 bullets. It's the attitude and treatment received. KNOW who you're buying your stuff from and KNOW they are reputable people to deal with. I guess David (DLM37015) has me laboring under the delusion that it's easy to be honest and reputable in the reloading supply business. He sure doesn't seem to have any trouble treating people with respect and taking care of business the right way. Again, I may NOT be doing something right. I'll be happy to give him the benefit of the doubt and leave judgment to my TGO brethren. I mean, I was only a machinist for 13 years. Maybe that ain't enough experience to know when tab A doesn't fit slot B. If I'm wrong, someone feel free to correct me. AND, one last time. This ain't got NOTHING to do with the bullets. It has EVERYTHING to do with the lousy D/bag who refused to even look at the things. SO, here's some pics. I hope they come through. Measured towards the base of the bullet, if you can't read a mic, that's .3451 Measured towards the top is about .354 Some are worse, these are all random samples. Here's one measured in the middle at about .351 Well, put the calipers to them for a second opinion!! DOH! AND, I don't know if you can tell but the bases are swelled to the point they wobble when set on a hard flat surface. They're almost a bevel base now! I wish you all the best in life A&H Reloading. BUT, you've lost my business and all that of my circle of friends. Not for your prices, they're not bad at all. Not for you're inventory, you got a decent selection there. You've lost it for treating my best buddy like a pile cråp. You're attitude sucks!

How do you sleep at night? Like a corpse. Sometimes I toss and turn for for up to 30 seconds before I fall asleep.

Sorry, I got nothing to offer but I do understand the frustration. I veer off the trail a lot and finding data is a chore. I also have a good idea of what recoil should be like with this load I currently load a bullet I cast from an Accurate 35-135B which actually falls around 140g. I load it over 3.0 of Accurate Nitro 100NF. It cycles 100% and is very accurate. What amazes me is as you say, the recoil impulse. It's strange, it's very mild and produces zero muzzle flip, which is a big factor in why it's so accurate. From my Glcok 19 w/ a Lone Wolf barrel, 50 rounds at 15 feet will make a neat little 3 inch hole in the target. Good luck.
