1. Where's the rifle? I can't see it. Good looking job! Better than some of my rattle can work.
2. Nope, I've never hit a rear sight on an XD45 so hard that I knocked one of the tritium vials out. Never! And I don't appreciate anyone insinuating I'd be so stupid as to mess up a set of sights I paid so much for. LOL
3. I dunno, they look good to me. Most important question of all. How do they shoot??? Accurate? Reliable?
4. It's fine. Most molds vary just a bit, you can switch alloys, even casting technique and temps can cause weight variations. It's more important to keep consistent. Also, be sure the bases are smooth and square. Other than that, run em!! Remember, typically cast lead will produce lower pressures than an equal weight copper condom (jacketed bullet). The resistance of forcing lead down a steel barrel is lower than forcing copper down your barrel. Btw, what's goofy!? I run that same boolit in some of my loads. I've had very good results from it. Good looking castings, but you have one problem that may not be readily apparent. Casting is an addiction and if you have the patience for it, you'll find equal or better accuracy at a fraction of the cost. If you catch the bug, you'll look around one day and there'll be a pile of molds where them stupid jacketed bullets used to be. Contrary to what the armchair experts say, in 99% of handgun cartridges; You can equal and often exceed the performance of a jacketed bullet. Take your 9mm there. You didn't mention your alloy but let me assume your using air cooled wheel weights. (No need to water quench). They will penetrate about as well as any FMJ and if you can find a load that gives no leading and accuracy up around 900fps, them buggers will expand pretty well. Totally different animal I know, but my 308 Winchester loads expand as well as any premium jacketed bullet out there. They will penetrate several milk jugs of water and they look like a small explosion went off inside them. Quite devastating. To boot, they'll shoot inside an inch at a hundred. All for less than $10 for fifty. Welcome to the dark side. We may be frowned on by the status quo and those who think they know better, but we have fun, cheaper and don't abuse our guns near as much.
5. Hard for me to believe you'd eat that mess considering what I see in your avatar. You KNOW what they make bologna out of right?  LOL   Somebody done been gnawin' on one of 'em!
6. If I see it, I'll be rooting for the zombies.
7. I just can't feel sorry for someone who'd do that to themselves. As young punk I've smoked more weed than you can haul in pick up truck ( all that behind me now). But I never was inclined to put toxic chemicals in my system. It's not a mystery! We know what this crap does to your body. Why? I'll never get it I suppose.
8. I laugh my butt off every time I see this broad on the Intervention commercial.  Maybe she has a problem and needs sympathy, but  not from me.  You do that mess, you deserve it.   Great for a laugh, but this ole guy has pickled her brain.  GOD!  How stupid are people!!????           http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H6TW6v39_kQ
9. Thanks, I have plenty of data to start with.
10. You will move faster than you ever tout you could. LOL Glad you're okay. Needless to say,I been there done that......more than once.
11. A really good friend passed on to me and really clean little swede that needed a little TLC. It was missing a few pieces and was wearing a plastic stock, but it has a PERFECT bore. Any collectors value was gone when it was drilled and tapped. The sights were gone too, so I topped it off with a Steel Weaver K4, turned down the bolt handle and modified an original Swede stock by cutting off about a foot and making a tip out of purpleheart. I suck at woodwork but I'm happy. This sucker will shoot too! Factory RP ammo will put ten rounds inside inch at 50 yards. My first attempts at a cast boolit load got me about two inches or so. Time and tinkering and this little guy will be under an inch, for sure. As I said, any collectors value may have been lost when it was drilled and the sights removed but considering where it came from, this little Swede just became a treasured heirloom to me. I actually tossed a rifle out of the safe and into the closet so this one could get a proper place to reside. 12. It's here. I really wanna shoot it but alas, no rear sight or scope. :-\ As tacky as it'll look, I may snatch the Eotech from my AR so I can atleast go have some range fun tomorrow.
13. If it happens, how many more will follow suit?
14. Okay, if I didn't make it perfectly clear the first time:   I have the best wife on earth!!!!!     I was just informed tonight that 12 days after the Iron Maiden/Megadeth concert; I will be attending an equally kick ass concert at the War Memorial. Anyone up for a "Ceremony"????   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=feTzqJmJu-4
15.   Well, I ain't no professor no.     BUT, the Mason Dixon line runs between PA and Maryland.  If you run that across country, you'd split Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, Nevada and California; Basically in half.  That'd leave the upper half for the hippie demo scum and the lower half for the rest of us.  Typically demo/commies like colder weather anyway so there you have it.  There'd be plenty of plains lands for either side.     Now, personally, I'd be fine with running the border sharply south at the california border.  We don't anything they have to offer.
16. It'll never happen but wouldn't it be nice to run the Mason Dixon line all the way across the country.  Hippies can have the Canadian bacon side and we'll take the burrito border.  No civil war to settle it, just segregate and see what happens.
17.   You're in a great position then.  What kind of rifle is it, a 700?   Obviously we should NEVER play outside the lines of published data but the bolt action will give you a generous safety net.     You going to run a suppressor?  Making these subsonic [and accurate] should be easy peasy.  If you are going to run sub's I have load data for Accurate #5 for a .300 Whisper which for subs in a bolt gun would be perfectly fine interchanging.  #5 would be a great choice cuz you can feed it to your handguns too! I'd have to dig out my data book but I remember shooting clover leaf groups with #5 and a 168g Amax @ 50 yards.  Gentle doesn't even begin to describe the recoil.  THey're a hoot!
18. Lil'gun runs great with those.  Nothing personal, but I'm hesitant to share my actual charge though.  Mine is built on a Savage 110 action and I have pushed a little harder than I should have.  2300-2400 fps is not difficult though.     I have pushed hard enough to see case flow.  I can see the tooling marks from the bolt face on the brass.  Not a good thing :stare: 15.0g or so should get you close to 2K fps.  DO NOT QUOTE ME ON THAT!  Dolomite has hard numbers from a chrono, IF he's willing to share.
19. First thoughts say thats true but remember who you're talking to 😄 I'm thinking a 168g spitzer hollow point (cast by me) over some Accurate 2015 for about 2000fps. Sweet!
20. Yeah, I should've been more vague about that. I don't wanna get into that crap again. Ive made a few people here mad before over it and it isn't worth it. Most men don't agree with me and they shouldn't have to if they don't want to. I don't care to look at any women; my wife's ass would make any of them a Sunday face but this isn't the point. This should not be tolerated. POLITICAL CORRECTNESS should not be tolerated. Censoring Peter to please Paul should not be tolerated. Would the next civil war be fought over bikinis? Of course not. Then again, the civil wasn't fought over slavery either like most deluded idiots think. These are baby steps the enemy uses to back us into the cage.
21. Oh I'm fired up about this. I have had to get out of most large centerfire rifles due to a shoulder injury. BUT I hate 22's shotguns and such so here I am. If I can't cast for it, it ain't for me. 30/30 is my favorite cartridge by far and now......I have a super 14 contender on its way today! It's is going to be great. SO! Who loads for this? Talk to me!
22. DVR set, steaks in the fridge ready to grill, FINALLY some good tv back. Seasons over for all my shows(supernatural, arrow, walking dead, bates motel) VERY happy this is back.
23. Well, personally I despise women prancing around half naked like a bunch of whores BUT, ANY American has the right to watch and enjoy it. AND some filthy goat humpin raghead ain't got a right to tell someone they can't. Stupid muzzies, they can do just like I do, if you dont like it, DON'T FRIGGIN WATCH IT!!!! We have to be careful here and protect the first amendment at all costs, even if our personal feeling conflict. Remember, the same amendment that gives you the right to watch a bikini contest ALSO gives you the right to watch the 700 Club. The same amendment that allows a person to watch a porno or read a book about Satan also gives the right to thump the King James Bible. It is a balance and as long as no one is being injured or exploited, a person must be free to enjoy it. These are the things worth fighting about.

25. Everything Madonna has ever done. That's one whore I'd like to see get plowed by a bus.
