I'm a hypocrite. I tell most people that its a bad idea but I have no qualms about using it. I'm also VERY picky and patient. I'm fine with not taking a shot and going home empty handed. I wait for the perfect shot or take a pass. I use a Barnes bullet and put it either right on the heart or, of the stars are in alignment, I will put it in the head. *gasp!*. I can also shoot a half inch or less at a hundred with my CZ527. Side of the head between the ear and eye and they fall right there. Tis is not to be taken lightly though, too low and you can destroy the jaw and they will run away only to starve to death. It's incumbent on EVERY shooter to be absolutely honest with themselves about their skill and ability. It's also of the utmost importance that if you are going to take an animals life, do it fast and as painless as possible.

I disagree. I hope he stays and gets involved in high profile defense attorney type cases. I think it would be great if he sues the fire out of them the uses the money to get a law degree and become a defense attorney himself. To run and hide would APPEAR to the uneducated masses as an admission of some sort of guilt. The sheeple will not accept him leaving only for his personal safety. People will cry that he's a guilty coward who runs and hides. He stood his ground and he needs to continue to do so.

I do both. I freeze what I plan to eat within the next 8-12 months. I can what I want to keep for the next 3-4 years.

Just read some "less than credible" sources that Washington will be pursuing federal charges. I won't post the source because I want to see a credible source before I claim anything but, if they do pursue federal charges, you're looking at a gross violation of state rights. The good state of Florida has said in a fair trial that no crime has been committed. There's also been no violation of interstate lines therefore trials at a federal level would be just the same as saying Floridas word on the matter are no good.

I had a random thought this morning. If riots were to get out of hand in the coming days, to the point where local government become overwhelmed, the Feds would have to step in. How bad would it chap O's ass to have to expend all the DHS stockpiles of supplies to subdue "his people"? I bet things will get very much out of hand before HE would do ANYTHING. How long you think he'd drag his feet on such a thing?

I managed to pry one from the hands of another member here.  It's my wife's carry pistol now.  She loves it.  Some say they can be picky about ammo but this one eats just about anything.  I put 250 rounds of wolf crap through it when I got it just to be sure it would be reliable.  It worked 100%.       I will say this, it's attractive, compact and in such a small package, the 9x19 really packs a punch, but it is NOT a fun gun to shoot.  In fact, judging it by the standards of a range toy, it downright sucks. 250 rounds in one range session will leave you not wanting to shoot anything for a few days.

No matter what your opinion or practice is, please be careful, mindful at all times and just friggin' pay attention. Keeping your mind on the here and now where it belongs behooves us all, drinking or not. As for me, one of my favorite songs is also my Modus Operandi: I drink alone. By doing so, even a lapse in my judgement can only hurt me and leave my wife richer when she cashes in my life insurance.

Not no, but HELL NO! I drink like a fish and pull off the pistol, set it on top of the safe and before I ever take a drink. I never drink in public. Ever. You're gonna get a great deal of argument here, hopefully a peaceful intelligent argument but you asked for an opinion and mine is NEVER and I personally judge anyone who does as lacking in judgment. I don't care what a person THINKS their tolerance for alcohol is. No. Period.
