No, a 99 is a lever action five shot. Most are rotary magazines but a we were detachable box magazines.

There's a guy in cookeville that will trade you pound for pound, zinc for lead. Get on Castboolits forum and find a guy named shadygrady. You won't get squat for them at the recycler. I have a little over 200lbs of it. I'm waiting until I get enough to entice the guy to drive out here to me. I'd be happy to trade 2 for 1 if he'd pick it up. It's gotta be worth his while though and I don't blame him for that.

Savage 99 solves that. Safe, stronger than ANY 94 type lever gun and no tube magazine so spitzer bullets work just fine.
-
No that's not true at all. Savage built lots of short action cartridges on a long action receiver.

Shhyeah!! With good condition, complete kits bringing $500-600 bucks in a heartbeat; I bet you would!!!!

Sounds more like Klingon. Japanese and German. Both the language of the pissed off. You can read a love poem in either one and it sounds like somebody is fixin to kill someone!

Well, you have a lot of people who seem to think getting a ticket for 51 in a 45 means a cop is out to get them and fill a quota. I mean, never mind the fact the sign CLEARLY says 45. Lol. People seem to think laws only apply to others. I told a cop here in town a while back I had discovered a way to never get caught speeding again. No amount of laser/radar or pacing would ever catch me! Do the dang speed limit and you'll never catch me sucka! He laughed. .....it's true. If you wanna save money, spend less. If you wanna avoid tickets, obey the traffic laws. Its a pretty startling revelation ain't it?
-
That is a very interesting point. What if cop number one wrote thirty tickets ranging from 5-15 mph over the limit and cop number two chased one guy all night eventually bringing him down and returning the child that was just abducted. Your papers say number one did a better job. Number one can kiss my butt, number two gets free beer after his shift. That's a great point about how paper work and numbers don't always add up. Thanks for posting that.

Nice! Just don't cut yourself when you're knocking the bottom out of your other favorite 'Ripple'.

Those batteries are hit or miss. I had some that were fair, and I had some that were crap. I have also read reports of them catching fire in the charger or just blowing apart on their own.

If the Lower is already an SBR or a registered FA, I reckon you can put whatever you want on it. I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure a legal full auto or an SBR can wear whatever upper turns you on. -

One thing my OD green G19 has that yours doesn't is a beaver tail grip addition. They're relatively cheap and very handy for my hands. You should check them out. You might like it. AND, what kind of sights are you running? That's a really long front sight. They look good. -

Hey, we don't run around bragging about, or sit back admiring our framing hammers, chain saws or shovels, but when we need them we need them and don't want any crap from them. They're there, every time. I was a Glock hater for many years. I was on the tupper-hater bandwagon for a long time. Crow was not good eatin' but I did. No matter who bad mouths a Glock, you'll know they're an idiot an unworthy of engaging in conversation if they ever say they won't do their job. AND, at the end of the day, that's what I want from a self defense weapon. -

This is a case in point why an NFA trust is better. You and him both could be on the trust and you can deal with the paper work and he can foot the bill and enjoy it when he gets home from kickin' azz over seas. BTW, tell him I said thank you for his service. -

Not a fan of .40 but I AM a fan of that pistol. I'm a G19 man myself and my nightstand pistol is a G19 that looks JUST LIKE that one. Plastic is fantastic, something besides black is even mo'better. I am a fan of pistol lights because holding a flashlight and a handgun at the same time just sucks. THe strobe function (if yours is so equipped) is very handy. Two thumbs up from me. I'll be the first to admit, there's nothing particularly handsome about a Glock. They don't have the soul other steel and wood guns do, but you can't give me nothin' but. I'd take my Glock over anything made. Period. Very nice. -
What bullets do you like for plinking?

Well, it's been almost ten minutes since we last talked about Zimmerman so I figured its time for another. LOL Seems he helped out some people in need. Nice! http://abcnews.go.com/m/story?id=19735432&ref=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ar15.com%2Fforums%2Ft_1_5%2F1511307_Zimmerman_emerges_from_hiding_for_truck_crash_rescue_.html

I gave an apology to people who actually DO their job and I'll even throw in extra points for any gov workers who are refined and distinguished enough to be model 99 connesueirs.
-
Aw come on. I don't like em either but they serve a bigger purpose in the cycle of life than that crying brat in your avatar. I wouldn't trade a skunk to save his hide. LOL!!!!!

Well that's a little morbid, but; Thompson Contender w/ Nikon 2x scope 10 inch .223 Remington Rp case, Lyman 55g RNFP gas check over 8.0g of green dot. Shot from twenty feet, hit at the base of the neck, yes it was loud, no the little fellar did not suffer.

Yeah haha! Rest in peace PePe Le Pew! I tell you what though, the older I get the more my respect for animals surpasses my respect for mankind. They do what they do and have always done. Man is just a bunch of hypocrites.
