Someone is casing my house. My wife noticed a truck in our driveway parked in front of our garage doors. I think it was Friday night around 7:30. Our garage entrance is in the rear of the house so the driveway buttonhooks into it with an area for exterior parking on the backside of the house. The frontside exterior lights were off and we keep our blinds closed which I guess gives the appearance of no one being home. After a few minutes the vehicle started to back out so my wife went to the front and peeked out to get a better look at the vehicle. The truck stopped and she saw someone point towards her. She didn't specify but this leads me to believe that the vehicle had two occupants. During this time she called her parents who live nearby, a neighbor, and the Williamson County SD non emergency number. They sent a car out who arrived after my FiL. They spoke with the Deputy and she informed him what had happened and that I was out of the country. He asked if she had a firearm and if she knew how to use it. When she said no (she has heretofore refused any suggestion to learn) he told her that WCSD conducts safety classes. My FiL installed a camera that records the driveway. I am not sure if it uses motion detection or if it is constant but either way she said that today about half an hour after her and my two children left the house a different car but with a driver of the same race pulled in and did the same thing. She did not get a good look at the first driver so she is not sure if it is the same man or not. I advised her to move my firearms to her father's house. Without my guns we really do not have anything to steal besides a couple of TVs and my computer. My wife has never been in to jewelry and we don't keep cash in the house besides some change jars. I do not have a stereo or anything but a burglar wouldn't know any of this. Nothing I can do really. Im not going to be out of here for awhile yet. Sucks.

It didn't quite change. People started getting in with waivers. Then PFC Snuffy sees PVT Smith has a neck tattoo so he goes and gets one. So on and so forth. The new SMA has pretty much said he approached like 12 NCOs with exposed neck tattoos and none of them had waivers. I do not have any tattoos. I do not have anything against them though. You are hurting my feelings here.

My first job after getting out was at a nursery / tree lot. Everyone that knew I had just gotten out of the army kept saying that I had to talk to a particular employee as he was ex secret squirrel from vietnam and blah blah blah. He obviously took every opportunity to discuss his exploits. When I finally met him he was a very knowledgeable arborist and generally engaging nice guy. Mother####er never spent a day in the military as far as I could tell. When I asked about his experience he told me how his 125 man SF company went on a mission and only 5 or so came back. Another about a team mate who was a former door gunner in a cobra helicopter. I #### you not. The man described the "don't lead 'em so much" scene to a T as an example of the guy. He must have seen my face because he then said he didn't like to talk about those times of his life. This didn't stop him from telling customers as I walked up to him telling war stories until I left the place.

Yep hit 33 on the 31st and really dont know where the last ten years went.

I, with help from BimmerFreak, have busted at least two on this site with tall tales. One insisted we meet for lunch so he could convince me of the veracity of his claims. I declined.
